QFT. I was deadly hooked on the original for DS & PSP, but I forced myself to quit because i knew this was coming soon and wanted to spend time on other endeavors (instead of non-stop Puzzle Quest until I die).
 
Hmmmm... I expected to see a horde of posts about the Simpsons demo. I assumed that everyone logging onto Live at 12-2am Pacific was a result of some demo action. I was quietly playing Blue Dragon and CAGs kept popping up which I thought was strange for late Sunday night.

And yet here I look and there's no mention of the Simpsons demo which I saw when I stopped playing. The Conan demo is also up...
 
Can't wait to finally play some of these demo's. But I'm trying to beat Eternal Sonata at least once before Katamari comes out. I don't think that's gonna happen though

I'm trying to beat Blue Dragon before Katamari comes out (thus my 5 hour marathon tonight). But the kids will be thrilled tomorrow with the Simpsons demo. I can't wait to check it out. Sleep now...
 
I didn't think that my post went though. LOL. I'm in chapter 4 of 6 through eternal sonata, but I hear you have to go through it twice for the achievements. I swear my demo backlog is so big though. I don't think I've really played any since the Bioshock demo. Hell, I still gotta play the Blue Dragon demo for more than 30 mins.

I think a bunch of us already played the Simpsons on PSN. Also, CAGs are posting their impressions in the dedicated thread.

I guess no one tried Conan yet.

I DL'd these all last night using the "sleep" feature. Will try them tonight.

BTW, Bee Movie was interesting. Not great, but should keep the kiddies happy for a little while.

Conan was meh to me. Meh graphics, meh controls...not that it was completely unfun--I like hack n slash a lot. Just not a must buy for me.

The voice acting was lol terrible, though. The guy who did Conan was unintentionally hilarious. So bad, I kinda enjoyed it. :)

I actually did better with Simpsons on 360 than PSN. I'd probably pick the game up down the line, but the camera is bad--swivels all over the place when you don't want it to, due to the weird targeting and it's still zoomed in a bit too close without a logical way to adjust. Oh well, I'll keep the demo so I can co-op with my buddy.

Looney Tunes was similarly bad, though not as surprisingly disappointing. The camera for this one is also not very good, and the shooting controls are confusing and unintuitive.

I deleted LT and Conan right away.
 
Fear Files was literally more of the same, except the AI seemed a bit dumber and the hit detection seemed to be off. The demo was very deja vu-ey (obviously), so i'll pass unless I can rent it for cheap or something.
 
shit, FEAR Files is just FEAR Gold for the 360...I thought it was a side game or something. Guess I shouldn't try out the demo, since I'm not done with FEAR yet.
 
Puzzle Quest was up right at 1am Pacific. I downloaded the demo, but have to finish some work, so no play for me :cry:.
 
The Yaris game is NOT what you'd think it'd be. Its actually quite fun but very misleading to those actually interested in the car. I have a friend who's nuts for the car, I can't wait to show her the insanity behind the game.

I tried 3 Demo's yesterday.

Conan which was better then I thought it would be. More or less a porr mans God of War. A 20.00 or less purchase.

Simpson's - Was neat at the beginning but then it lost it's fun fast. Rental

Jericho - Pretty Fun. I was suprised by how well it controlled. The button combo's seemed a little fast and challanging. The concept is pretty neat and whereever the game takes place ( underground? ) gives that creepy feeling. But a 20.00 or less buy or rental.

Wasn't the Voice actor for Conan Ron Perlman? It certainly sounded like him.

I enjoyed the demo for Conan. It wasn't great but seemed it would get better as you unlocked new moves.
 
Conan was alright. I'm really glad they got the VF Demo up. It's great to finally play the game that made me want to get my 360.

I know it's a demo, but for me it went way too quick. Knock out three guys and it's over. I wish you could fight them in a random order or play the other three characters you can select in the demo.

I need to go get myself the joystick, because while the game plays pretty good on the 360 pad, I NEED a Joystick to play Virtua Fighter. So hopefully I can find the stick at EB for 60.

I'm going to ask a retarded question, so I apologize in advance.
I've kinda been interested in Oblivion for a while now..but never seemed to getting around to getting it. Clearly if I ever bought it now, I'd buy the GOTY edition since that comes with the DLC (..right?). Would it still work if I downloaded the free content NOW and just.. let it sit there until the day I get Oblivion?

The SvR08 demo will probably be up around 2AM PST or whatever time it usually updates. I know you guys can't wait to play as Lashley!
