Odd issue with a PayPal claim

This is pissing me off, it seems like it's one thing after another for me this month.

Anyway, I bought 2 games (Castlevania SotN and Chronicles, both complete and supposedly mint condition) from eBay. Of course after I receive, I see that it's complete bull.

I file a dispute, PayPal hears from both sides, says I deserve a refund. I return the item via FedEx (I had to use FedEx, UPS, or DHL). The seller received the return and it's confirmed by the tracking on March 4th.

So PayPal says they'll decide by March 17th. WTF is this? I don't understand what they have left to decide but I figure I have no choice. So it's March 17th and I get an update saying... they need more time to figure this out?

Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I simply don't understand what in god's name these dumbasses are doing...:bomb:
 
Call in and speak to someone. I had an issue sorta like this once, and I called in and spoke with a rep, and they checked to confirm that the seller received the package, checked to see that all I wanted was a refund, and immediately had the refund issued to me. Just call in and ask them about it. They seemed nice enough to me.

Yeah, I had a dispute last time like that, that just never seem to want to resolve itself even after the necessary time frame and steps were taken, so I called them up at 11pm at night, spoke to an associate and they fixed the problem for me and pushed it through immediately. didnt have to get into too much of a yelling match, but still a little anger would help speed it along ;P
 
yeah I'd call them too and see what's up. Seems like ample time to have the issue resolved.

Out of curiousity, what was wrong with the item(s)?

Judging from the way he worded it, they're either disc only, scratched up or both of those.
