I picked up a used SNES at a garage sale (complete and working). Oddly it's stained yellow everywhere except the cartridge louding area and the controller ports. Not from a smoking home. Anyone have ideas?
An ultra common occurance with old SNES's. Nintendo used a cheapass plastic to save a few bucks on snes manufacturing, and the half yellow, half grey snes is the result. I'd say prolly 9 out of 10 snes's suffer from yellowing.
Theres no way to remove the yellowing either, short of sanding the entire case down, but then you'd lose the texture. You can paint it, or learn to live with it basically.
