Don't have alot of time, I know it's for $29.99 in the ad but it rings up $17.99 in store.

The shelf tag said $17.99.
The computer system said $17.99 (I couldn't find it, guy looked it up on his terminal and it came up $17.99)
The register said $17.99.
I paid for $17.99 for THE OFFICE SEASON 2 NEW RELEASE Today!

This SHOULD NOT be YMMV... hurry before CC fixs this!

I think they messed it up in their computer and put Season 2 at Season 1's price... this is a GREAT deal, it's MSRP is like $34.99 so it's 50% off!

Aw damn. I saw the price listed on the shelf at Circuit City on Tuesday as $17.99 but they were sold out (and at $17.99, I can see why). The store is in the process of remodeling so they barely had anything in stock as it was and evidently they don't allow you to do a rain check on DVDs. *sigh*

An employee told me that they should be getting more on Saturday and that the sale price would still be good then, but I guess if this error has already been corrected in the system I'm going to just go ahead and buy the Season 1 & 2 bundle at BB for $42.99.
would a reciept with it at 17.99 be enough to price match at say bestbuy or the such maybe?
I don't know about now, but yesterday I just told the CSR at BB that CC had an in-store sale on the set they PM'd it.

He tried to look it up on the CC.com and all but I told him it wasn't advertised. I told him to call them and he tried but they wouldn't answer so he finally said he believed me and adjusted the price. I'm sure I was just extremely lucky but it didn't hurt.

Hmmm. I tried getting BB to PM it too, but they wouldn't do it because CC didn't have it in stock . I was hoping it wouldn't be an issue because the last time I PMed something at BB they didn't even bother to call, they just overrided the price with the competitor's price. ;)

Was there when they opened today and the price had been corrected. Had them ring it up to be sure. No deal.

arggg it's 30 now why? the only show that i was willing to pay 30 for and CAG has succesfully stopped me from buying it hic. hope someone screws up again. LOL

Saw like 5 copies and it was advertised (season 2) as 17.99. I bring it up and she rings me up as 34.99, I counter with "ummm I can't buy it for that price, you guys have it advertised over there as 17.99". She proceeds to check the most current CC flyer which she shoves in my face and it clearly states SEASON 1 ON SALE FOR 17.99 and SEASON 2 29.99. Luckily right before she shows me this she asks an employee to bring her the shelf advertisement. He brings it back after she shows me the flyer and it reads season 2 17.99 so she overrides it and mumbles to the guy that she is throwing out the shelf advertisement after I leave. I almost laughed like 3 times when he brought over the shelf ad, she was doubting me.

thanks CAG
It's nice to see you again TSD, it's been a while since I've seen you on. There were actually tags up saying $17.99 for Season 2 printed up like the regular sales shelf tags.
Yeah, things are just now getting organized in my life again. I'm hoping to be a little less of a stranger around here. Thanks for noticing me. ;) On topic, that's weird for a price-mistake to actually be tagged.

i went to walmart tonight with my friend and his reciept from yesterday, and they price matched it for me :) and then i went to target and picked up South Park season 6 for 18.00. Great day.

Well, it was in their main computers at $17.99, so when they printed out the shelf tag, that's the price that printed out.
