Raiders are getting slaughtered by the Packers. 24-0 with 9 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

Shitting the bed against Miami last week, and blowing the 21-3 lead against Buffalo early this year are going to likely have them out of the playoffs yet again.
Isn't that a given at this point?
Isn't that a given at this point?
Not given how bad the AFC west is. They're still tied for first with Denver going into today.

Denver is playing at Chicago--still 0-0 late in the first.
Lmfao. Tebow does it again.
This week's Tebow triumph brought to you by Marion Barber. UN-flipping-believable! The Bears had that game twice but still managed to give it away.

I normally root for the guy to win but just didn't want it to happen this week against my Bears.

Only the Giants could be awarded with decent field posistion after a garbage team gives it to them and they cant do anything with it but put 3 on the board, Nfc Least at its best.
Gronk is fucking insane. If he keeps this up he will shatter every tight end record in like 3 more years.
He's bananas. I've never seen the position played at a higher level.
3 More games until we go undefeated in the regular season and set the NFL record for longest winning streak.
Losing Jennings will hurt. I know they have a ton of options, and maybe they won't miss a beat, but he's such a stud.

What a game so far. The Cowboys really need this one in my opinion. A win over the Giants would be huge - especially since it would give us a 2 win lead in the division.

Edit: Int Lee and touchdown Dez!

Can someone on the Cowboys pick Tony up? Two weeks in a row he puts them in position to win and special teams and defense ruin it.

Rob Ryan is all hype just like his brother and his old man. That defensive effort was absolutely pathetic.

I definitely see your point, but it wasn't the D/ST's fault he badly missed a wide open Austin on that 3rd down play that would've locked up the win.

When you hand your defense a twelve point lead with five minutes left to play your responsibility should be over. He did his job, and the defense shit the bed like they have done for much of the season (the Patriots game was just like this one).

With the assist from Him. ;)

In reality, it was the rest of the team that won that game. Defense and field goal unit. Prater - 59 yards to push to OT, 51 yards to win in OT.

Cam Newton is a lion

"What happens when you take a lion out of the safari and try to take him to your place of residence and make him a house pet? It ain't going to happen. That's the type of person that I am. I'm that lion. The house that I'm in is somewhat of a tarnished house where losing is accepted. But I'm trying to change that, whether I'm going to have to turn that house into a safari, or I'm just going to have to get out of that house. I'm not saying I'm trying to leave this place. I'm just trying to get everybody on my level."

Way to call your teammates garbage vs looking at your performance this week. Giving up in the Fourth, that was all you Mr. Newton...
Getting tired of Packers fans whining about Rodgers or the team not getting press. You're 13-0, enjoy that.
Rodgers not getting enough press? Where are you hearing that bullshit? I can't watch ESPN during the day without someone getting on their knees at the mention of his name.

Also, as much I hate Tom Brady, I think it's absolutely ridiculous that the commentators keep mentioning Rodgers in the same breath with Brady. The guy wins one superbowl and you would think the he led the Pack to some epic dynasty by the way they talk about him.

If he wins the superbowl again this year then I'd think they could start talking about him like they currently do, but that is yet to be seen. We all know an undefeated regular season doesn't mean shit unless you execute all the way through the playoffs.

I dunno, I'm obviously not a Panthers player but I wouldn't take that as him calling them garbage. I see it as him saying "look, this place has tolerated losing for too long, we've gotta try harder." I really think there are teams that just get complacent and don't give a shit when they lose. The Panthers, given they haven't done much of anything in years, is probably one of those teams.

Granted, his comment does almost come across a little LeBron-ish but still the sentiment that we've gotta do better is there. Now, if the guy continues to beat this bush and ends up being the next TO or Randy Moss where everything that goes wrong on a team is everyone's fault except his own then this is the beginning of that but if this is his trying to get a team that has enough talent to a better record then more power to him.
Can we go ahead and fire Lovie Smith now please??? I'm sure he'll get a pass now that 90% of the offense is out.
As a Packers fan, I kind of feel bad for Bears fans because every time that you all are doing just bad enough to finally get rid of him, something happens to be a scape goat for him.
Just another high draft pick not knowing how to deal with losing. Nothing new, not a big deal.
You know, that's a funny way to think about. These guys bust their ass to be the best player in college to earn the right to be drafted by the NFL team with the worst record.
James Harrison has been suspended for one game for his hit on Colt McCoy last week. It's time for him to cry and pretend he's going to retire again.
He's appealing, of course. Should have gotten 3 games in my mind. Guy is a constant offender.

At least something happened for one of Harrison's hits. That nasty hit was his second helmet-to-helmet hit on Colt in that game, though it seems like the Browns could get in trouble for not properly evaluating his concussion symptoms. At the least, it seems like a good reason for the union to push for neurologists on the sideline of each game to properly diagnose players rather than hoping that players, refs, coaches, and medical staffs get it right 100% of the time.

Funny thing is when he got caught beating his babys mama nobody in Pittsburgh said a thing and now with this suspension everybody in the Pittsbugh area is stepping up to defend him. Its a real fucked-up society we are now living in if you ask me.

Nothing against him as a player but whenever Tebow talks all I can think of is...

Frankly, I think this is much more egregious than Harrison's hit. I thought the NFL instituted mandatory exams during a game when one is suspected. I know the NHL requires players to go into the locker room and under go a test before they can re-enter the game, I could have sworn the NFL had something similar.

They have definitely been examining most players on the sidelines after a big hit..lots of pointing flashlights at them but not sure if they are leaving the field to be examined.

Mike Tomlin seems to just sit the guy no matter what after a big hit to the head.

I have no doubts he's an all-around piece of shit.

according this article i found in a quick google search...

The core of the new rules: If a player is suspected to have suffered from a concussion, he is to be immediately removed from the game. He's then given a series of tests by medical personnel on the sideline to examine brain function.

If it's determined a player does not have a concussion, he can return to the game. But if the team doctor determines the player does have one, he is removed from the sideline and cannot return. And he can't practice or play until cleared by an independent neurologist.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/...yers-circumventing-nfl-efforts-on-concussions

So basically the rules are being circumvented because players and team doctors have an understanding that sometimes it's best if the tests don't happen. The NFL is looking at adding independent doctors to the sidelines so players can't avoid taking the tests. Either that or team doctors are just "missing" the symptoms, or both I suppose.

Mike Holmgren had a press conference to talk about the concussion incident and he's basically explained that it was a case of the team doctors being busy with other players, so they didn't see the hit itself to know what to focus on. They checked everything and found nothing major to be wrong with him, as he was up and talkative right after the hit to not make them think that he needed the concussion test. He went back in a few plays later since the doctors didn't find anything major and Pat Shurmur went off of their quick diagnosis, though we know that he was affected later on after the game. It seems like a string of unfortunate circumstances that are a sign that they need specifically need doctors at each game to check players so that there's no excuse for these players to not be checked. It seems likely that Colt won't be playing on Sunday.

He also reiterated that Pat was going to be the coach for a long time along with suggesting that Colt will be the guy next year, as I read a quote where he threatened the media to stop it with the sensationalist rumors or he would stop giving them the perks they expect.
So nobody looks terribly interested in playing defense in Denver. This could be a long one.
All I want for Christmas is Coughlin and KillDrive getting fired. I mean Gilbride.

Crazy to think the Giants can still make the playoffs if they win out.

Yeah, the Bears pretty much just crapped all over themselves again this week. Time to fire Lovie and hit the reset button on this whole deal. the defense is getting old, the O-Line is horrible, and Hanie is not the answer at backup.

Safe to say the vaunted Denver D has been exposed a little bit by finally playing a good offense. I'm still not comfortable this lead is Tebow-proof though. :D
The game would be alot closer if the Broncos didn't have a ton of turnovers.
So if Denver wasn't playing so poorly they'd be playing better? Okay, I'll agree with that.
