Dude, I will take Ravens, 49s, Texans...any time that is known for defense. I really dont want one of these bullshit only offensives teams to win.

Ravens AND Texans? Now that would be amazing.

Pats
Ravens
49ers
Green Bay

Clearly not both since they are playing each other all I am saying is I will take any team that has defense, expect the Broncos because I want it to be over.
Yea I am gonna go,

Pats,
B-more
niners
G-men
I would love it if the 49ers beat the Saints. My beloved Giants just don't seem to be able to beat the Saints.

Agreed. The Giants can beat any remaining team except the Saints, IMO.

This weekend's winners:

San Francisco 49ers (Game of the Week)
New England Patriots
Baltimore Ravens
Green Bay Packers
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7459236/jeff-fisher-coach-st-louis-rams-source-says

Looks like Jeff Fisher will coach the Rams.

Good move IMO. They have a franchise QB to build around, and that's the hardest piece of the puzzle to get. Dolphins don't pick high enough to get one in the draft, so they're further away from being good again IMO.
Now wouldn't it be something if he takes the Rams to the Super Bowl only to lose by one yard against the Tennessee Titans.

Although that probably won't happen.

Who I think will win:

Ravens
Saints
Packers
Patriots

Who I hope will win:

Texans
49ers
GIANTS (pleasepleaseplease)
Broncos

It could be a loooong weekend...

I think the Giants will pull this one out. Our front four is killing it right now and our running game is rounding into shape (or at least so I hope).

I've been talking myself into this all week after previously thinking I didn't care about the outcome because the season is a total win just getting this far. I'm setting myself up for major disappointment. I agree that if our front four can bring the pressure consistently and from all sides we will have a shot. I'm not worried about the offense being able to score - just our defense keeping the Packers off the scoreboard or holding them to FGs. We also need a turnover or two and not give any to them. Eli's pick-6 in the first matchup was the difference in the game. I think we can win if we get some bounces and our defense plays like they have been for the past month.

Agreed. We are going to have to play a mistake free game and win the possession battle. I hope they pull it off.

After seeing how much ref protection Saints had in a game they should have lost, I don't even want to begin to know what the Giants are gonna have to deal with. As much as i want them to win, seems like the league wants to set up a nfc champ game where both teams are having 5 mins in the pocket throwing 50 yards bombs against shit defenses for a 100+combined game. Then again i wouldn't be suprised if both those teams lost, as it wouldn't even be considered an upset to me in the slightest.

This is what I am afraid of, how does a team throw the ball 50 + times on average yet rarely get called for offensive holding? The subtle protection that golden boy qbs are getting is unreal this year. I can only hope that the 49ers are even allowed to sniff a qbs fart without getting flagged for it.

I am throwing away all my prior biases and rooting for any team that is defense first. Except the Broncos....the media has turned me off even with their stellar defense.

lmao no less than 2 mins into the game the Saints O line already holding like a motherfucker and refs awarding bullshit pass interference calls. Is anyone allowed to play fucking defense anymore?
I would love to see a Giants-49ers NFC Championship.
Same. 49ers look PREPARED TO WIN. I love it. Actual defense!

Despite nearly having four straight drives with a turnover, the Saints are right back in after that drive. The 49ers need to get a TD to stay ahead of them or else Brees will get them back in contention for the win quickly. Great game so far.

An amazing pass and catch and the Saints are now down by just three points. The 49ers will have to play better than this if they want to stay ahead and win the game.

Gotta love how so far 49ers are making the saints look like Lsu and all people can talk about is Brees throwing touchdown passes because he's getting 10 mins in the pocket because of holding.

This is a good game.

Also, a NFL game already takes like 5 hours....can they find a quicker way to review these scoring drives. God damn the NFL is the least efficient sport out there. It takes hours to come to any decision.

It still amazes me that the 49ers pass rush is so brutal yet they have not caused a fucking holding call yet. Apparently they dont exist anymore. There is no way that even the greatest lineman of all time can go through a game like this without holding in some way.

Bullshit.

The 49ers offense isn't doing anything to help increase the lead for the defense, as they've only scored when the defense gave them great field position off of a turnover. If they can't change that or if the defense can't force turnovers on every Saints drive for the rest of this game, they could easily lose despite having a great defensive game.

Love the facemask holds that prevented brees from sucking grass 2 times but this is the league now where we have record breaking golden boy qbs going for 5k yards.

What the fuck was that.....hey refs you want to not let people pile on for 20 min and push each other?

Are refs that scared to take control of games now a days? You are letting a brawl happen with 4 refs standing right there not doing anything. fucking get in there tell them to get up and get back to their huddles and stop pushing.

Man refs are pussies.

Saints have been instigating about 90% of these scrums trying to get a flag on SF and now a saint player just walks over and kicks someone close to what SUH did and yet no flag and it happen right in front of the fucking ref?

San Francisco must be desperate if they're doing trick plays to generate some offense. At least they've stopped the Saints on one drive without a turnover.

God damn 49ers. What are you doing? Your defense is working their tail off and you cant even put up FGs to help them?

Good game none the less.

Im sorry but if San fran had a better o line and better playcalling this would be a blowout period. But oh wait lets hear how Drew brees made that 7 yard pass look so easy hes just so good!111

Frank Gore may have won the game for the 49ers with that huge run. He should have his ass kissed all week by Jim Harbaugh for giving them something on offense.

Plenty of time left. They definitely could have used a TD there.

Though even if he didn't win the game, he might have won some money for anyone who had the Niners at -4.

I'm sure he'll fly in from Baltimore just to do that.
