Welcome to the Official CAG Amazon.com Trade-In Thread

Hey trade-in pals! SENDING THINGS IN DISC / CARTRIDGE ONLY / GENERIC CASE NO MANUAL / ANYTHING BUT COMPLETE COULD RESULT IN REJECTION. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS. YOU MIGHT GET ACCEPTED, YOU MIGHT NOT. NO ONE KNOWS. THERE ARE NO HARD AND FAST RULES. IF IT IS ACCEPTED, IT WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY ONLY BE CONSIDERED "ACCEPTABLE." RISK YOUR TIME AND EFFORT AT YOUR PERIL!
I'm getting an acceptance rate of about one per day; it makes me think some supervisor is standing around with a glass of absinthe next to a couple of dumptruck loads of games...while the one responsible for the glitch is made to scan each item and recite its TIV with tears in their eyes.
THANKS TO DISILLUSION386 and GI60 FOR POSTING AND MAINTAINING THE PREVIOUS AMAZON TRADE-IN FAQ THREADS

This thread’s primary purpose is to discuss Amazon.com’s video game trade-in program. Conspiracy theories about NORAM smashing games before sending them back / stealing children / sneezing and touching public door handles / etc welcome, but try to avoid going nutso. PLEASE READ THE TRADE-IN DEAL DETAILS AND FAQ BEFORE ASKING ANY QUESTIONS.

Trade-In Procedure

1. SELECT ITEMS: Search for items to trade in. Your trade-in items must meet the product eligibility criteria.
2. SHIP GAMES FREE: Print a shipping label and packing slip, package your games, and ship them
3. GET A GIFT CARD: An Amazon.com Gift Card will be deposited into your account upon receipt of games
Shipping Instructions

1. Print this entire page. (Packing slip and shipping label once you have submitted a trade)
2. Cut out the shipping label and the packing slip.
3. Make sure your items are in good working condition and include the case and cover art.
4. Securely pack the items in a box or envelope and include the packing slip in the package.
5. Attach the shipping label squarely onto the outside of the package and add your return address.
6. Take it to your nearest UPS Store and mail it by (one week from submission of trade)
7. Or you can ship to:
note to self: look up new address
Trade-In Product Eligibility

Trade-in items must match the exact version displayed in the Amazon Trade-In Store, not be damaged, include original packaging (e.g. the manual, cover art, and case), and be postmarked no later than 7 days after submission. You will receive an e-mail confirmation and an Amazon.com Gift Card will be deposited into your account within 2 business days of item receipt and verification by the merchant. Items not accepted by the merchant will be returned to you approximately 14 days after receipt.

GENERAL FAQ (Updated 06/07/2011)
Can I post a question on this thread?
  • Only if you can't find the answer from below. And please let me know if it needs to be added to FAQ.
Can I edit this FAQ? (updated 6/7/11)
  • You bet! Up top there is a section for notable TIVs - feel free to add anything in there (and if you can remember, clean up after yourself in a few days when the TIV has undoubtedly dropped). You can edit the FAQ too, please just make sure it's useful and well formatted! Thanks!
Since when did Amazon start doing trades?
  • The program began in 2009 and is handled by a third party merchant, NorAm International.
What kind of shipping does Amazon provide us?
  • Free UPS ground ---- USPS is no longer available for free. There is now also an option to provide your own shipping.
Do I have to provide my own box or envelope?
  • Yes.
Do all my games in the same trade-in submission have to be shipped in the same box? (updated 3/9/11)
  • Not necessarily - people have sent in multiple boxes for the same trade-in submission successfully. It's even possible to send half at one time and the other half at the end of the valid shipping period. However, it's probably best to always ship everything at once.
Can I put separate trades in to a single box? (updated 6/7/11)
  • Sure, and they'll likely be accepted just fine. However, it isn't recommended since you would only have proof that you sent one of the trades (whichever mailing label you used). So it can be pretty risky.
Can I send in sealed games?
  • Yes. They won't reject games that still have the original shrink wrap.
Can I add Delivery Confirmation and Insurance to my shipment?
  • UPS Ground already provides you with tracking information, and I imagine you could get some sort of insurance added at a UPS store or location if you were so inclined.
I don't trust UPS ground. Can I pay for postage myself? What's the address?
  • Yes. You're more than welcome to do so. The address is:
    NorAm International
    22 Hampshire Dr
    Hudson, NH 03051
(This is also an option when submitting your trades)
When do I have to send my games once I have submitted my trade order?
  • You have 1 week (7 days) to send your games. There have been reports of submitting trades up to 15 - 20 days late, but that is definitely ymmv. Send on time for the best chance at success!
Crap, I have one day to go before my shipment deadline, but the website states that my deadline has already passed. How do I print out a shipping label and packing slip?
  • Load up any existing order (if you don't have any, check your browser's history or just submit a new one to use the link), and substitute the transaction ID for the trade-in order you need at the end of the URL.
How long does the whole trade-in process usually take?
  • From the time you send in your games, it may take up to 14 business days for the package to arrive. Most people usually receive their credit (Amazon GiftCard) in 3 to 5 business days, however.
How long does the "processing" status usually take? (Updated 6/8/11)
  • Usually a day or with little delay at all, but the longest reported days so far is 4.
My games were received on Friday (based on Delivery Confirmation), will I have to wait until Monday to receive credit?
  • People have received credit on a Saturday.
I do not have the manual, cover art, or original case for a game I want to trade in. Will they accept it? (updated 6/9/11)
  • While the details specifically state that original packaging is necessary, people have reported in the past that their trades were accepted despite missing some of these. This is extremely YMMV, however since some were also rejected by missing manual or cover art. On the other hand, older gen games; such as SNES, N64, and GB cartridges, normally get accepted without the original box and manual, but still YMMV.

It should be noted that with the new condition requirements (see later in the FAQ), you may be able to send an item in missing some or all of the required items (manual / cover art / case) and still have it accepted in "Acceptable" condition.
I do not have the manual, accessories, original box, original included game, etc for a console or accessory I want to trade in. Will they accept it? (updated 3/9/11)
  • The current wisdom is "probably not" - it's pretty YMMV but NorAm seems stricter than they should be on this. Your chances seem to be better for them accepting a console or accessory without the box / manual / etc if it's older generation or rare. You're more than welcome to give it a shot though if you're feeling lucky - just pack it well and include as much as you can!
My game is really beat up, what are the chances they’ll accept it?
  • This is YMMV. Some people have reported in the past that they sent in games in bad shape that were still accepted. Your best bet is still to trade in games in mint condition. Minor scratches are expected as these are used games.
My game came with DLC codes and I used them. Will my game be accepted? (Updated 12/28/11)
  • It is expected that included DLC codes have already been redeemed, so you should be fine. It is a kindness however if you have no use for it to not redeem it and let the next lucky soul who buys it from awd or wherever have a crack at it. Up to you!
My cover art (PLATINUM HITS) differs from the pic on amazon, will my trade be accepted?
  • It all depends on the UPC so just turn your game around, type in the UPC into the amazon search box. If the game comes up, then it's accepted regardless of cover art. Click on that result to submit your trade.
I have a game from a limited edition bundle, will they accept it?
  • If the game’s cover art has a UPC barcode, they will most likely accept it. If your game's cover states "Not for Resale" and does not have a UPC barcode, the game will most likely get rejected. Some people have had their games accepted in the past, but this is very YMMV.
The UPC barcode is not intact on my game's cover art, will that be accepted? (updated 3/9/11)
  • This is YMMV, but probably not. The UPC is all powerful within the walls of NorAm.
I sent in my games, all of which were in pristine condition with the original packaging, but they said that one game is damaged and is now being returned.
  • Always pack your games well. Put a lot of newspaper around your games in the box to secure them and to prevent any damages from haphazard box cutting. People in the past have requested their entire trade-in order if it’s obvious the damage wasn’t their fault, and Amazon ended up accepting the rejected game. This is YMMV as well.
Can I trade in multiple copies of the same game?
  • Yes. Once you click “Trade in” for a particular game, you may change the quantities. Once you submit, you can no longer change quantities on that trade-in batch.
How many multiple copies of the same game can I trade-in (updated 1/11/11)?
  • Maximum of 2 copies within 3 a month period.
I locked in X copies of a game but I now only have Y available to send. Can I just send in Y without being penalized? (updated 3/9/11)
  • Yes, you can always just send in a portion of your trade-in order and they'll just credit you for whatever they receive. However, the quantities you submitted for will stay locked in that instance (I think) so if you, for example, submitted for 2 copies and only sent 1, you may not be able to trade any more copies of that game for 3 months (see previous question).
Will the Trade-in of the Day TIV stay for 24 hours?
  • It's been reported that there is a limit (maximum # of copies) that will get the promoted TIV so lock yours.
So if I find a good flip, I can just send 2 copies of that game and not worry about Amazon accusing me of stolen merchandise?
  • Technically yes, but do keep in mind that other CAGs might want to participate in the current deal, and trading in a large number of the same game will definitely lower the TIV of said game. Let’s be nice to other people. This is probably moot for most folks now with the per account / address trade-in limit.
Wow, these TIVs suck (updated 3/9/11)!
  • Really? Hrm. While that may be true, they're often better than other comparable places. Your options of what to do with your used games are greater now than they've ever been, so feel free to shop your trades around or just sell them off on glyde/gamestaq/ebay/whatever. Also, not a question.
What the fuck? The TIV of a game I just bought for this deal tanked! What do I do?
  • The TIVs on Amazon fluctuate depending on the number of trades that are submitted, and we really can’t do anything about it. The best course of action for trading in games is to lock in your trade if you already have the games or are absolutely sure that you can obtain them. You can always cancel the trade submission if you end up not finding the games.
LOCK = SUBMIT YOUR TRADE, Don't just put it in the cart.
Can I edit a submitted trade?
  • Nope - once upon a time you could modify trade in quantities of submitted trades, but that ability has been removed.
Can I use my credit on items that are not video game-related?
  • Yes. This is the other perk for trading in games at Amazon since you're not limited to just video games.
Can I use my credit on items sold by third-party merchants on Amazon?
  • According to the fine print of the Amazon gift card use, some merchants are excluded. Your best bet is to try it on the checkout page of your order.
Strategy guides? I can trade in game/strategy guides? Whaaaaa?
  • Go to the Textbook Buyback section (http://www.amazon.com/Textbooks-Trad...ode=2205237011). You can either search on the title of a strategy guide you have to see if they'll accept it, or search for guides. The two best search strings to start with are 'prima guides' and 'bradygames'. Might try 'doublejump' if you want to trade in some of those. (Thanks eugaet)
I locked in some hilariously overvalued trade for some weird rare game/accessory/etc that I can pick up for cheap cheap cheap. They didn't accept it. What should I do? (updated 3/9/11)
  • The truth is that NORAM can reject things for any reason they see fit. While some people have managed to get silly things like a $200 credit for some cheerleading game (or for a PS2 - just ask io!), it's sooooooo YMMV that often it's not worth the effort. EXPECT REJECTION ON THINGS THAT ARE CLEARLY MISVALUED. That said, as long as you're willing to risk it, go for it!
What's all this item condition nonsense? And how can I get screwed over by it? (updated 6/9/11)
  • We're still kinda sussing out the details surrounding the new item condition portion of Amazon Trade-Ins, but it looks like there's a couple things to consider:
    • Good Condition eligibility (games):
    • - The video game, original manufacturer packaging and all original elements are included, but shows wear from normal use
      - Game still plays perfectly
      - Disc may have light scratches and other elements may have minor damage
      - Item may have been personalized (marked or identified)

      [*]Acceptable eligibility (games):

      - Game still plays perfectly
      - Item may have been personalized (marked or identified)
      - Item may be missing or have irreparable damage to one or all of the following: case, manual, artwork, bundled accessories, UPC

[*]Note that a game will almost certainly not be accepted if it meets any of these conditions:

      - Game does not play perfectly
      - Disc is cracked
      - Marked Not for Resale (or is otherwise marked not for sale)
Consoles/accessories have some slightly different criteria, but the idea is the same.
Did it seriously just ask me if I wanted my game / other item returned if they refuse to give me credit for it? (updated 6/9/11)
  • Yes, that just happened.

Unless you're purposefully sending them things you deem to be trash, please remember to choose the option that has them return your item to you during the checkout phase.
Who is AFS? (updated 6/9/11)
  • Not sure yet, but that's the name on the trade-in shipping labels now instead of NORAM. May just be NORAM with a different name. This will be updated as we learn more.
Post away!

I really need to sell that copy of Secret of Mana I have. I might be able to get around $25 for it.

I was gonna give it to Amazon and try to get $30 for it but I don't think they would have accepted it without a box.

Wow, even piddling stuff like Sonic Heroes for the Gamecube has gone down from like $5.50 to $.25

Wish I would have added that one to last night's mail-in.

Edit: Definitely glad I threw in Namco Museum though, that went back down to pennies from around $5.

Two of my N64 games were not accepted, I had a feeling because they had some small label imperfections, no big deal.

What i was surprised by was the two PS1 games were UPGRADED from acceptable to good. I knew they had some scratches so I set them to acceptable, but they bumped the price up to good. Also got $60 for my PSOne.

Quick question here folks.

Say I booked a trade for 5 games, but for unexpected reasons i only send in 1 game.

Does amazon send the whole trade back since its not the full trade they are expecting?

Nope, you can send as much or as little of a trade and they'll process them individually. You can also send them separately at different times by using the 'Need more than one shipping label?' link on the shipping label printing page. You can generate as many labels as you need.

I am pretty sure I got really lucky.
The package arrived yesterday.
I get home from work today and all the games were processed and accepted.
I traded:
Donal Duck Goin Quackers for GC- I sent disc only no case what so ever and the disc had some scratches. Was accepted as acceptable for $20.35
Simpsons hit and Run Xbox- Also disc only. accepted as acceptable for $21.00
Megaman Anniversary GC- Disc only, had some scratches. Accpeted as acceptable for $11.50
Jak 3 PS2- DIsc Only- acceptable -$1.20
Doom 3 xbox- complete- good- 30.00
Roler coaster tycoon xbox- complete- good- 30.00
Red Dead Revolver xbox- complete good -30.00

So I received $144.05 in credit for games that cost me probably about $15.00.

I also have 2 more trade in sets locked in for about $300 that I will be sending in soon.

yeah i missed this whole thing. just got a day off work today and checked and had a stack of 10 perfect games that would have got me 300. oh well. id rather keep the games ill pretend.

Thanks for the response, that really lets me breathe easy now lol

The "small label imperfections" doesn't sound promising for me. I think I had a couple like that. Did you have the box for your PSOne for $60?
Hmm - my only regret is not "refreshing" a few trades last night to reset the mailing time. Oh well, I can still get them out in time anyway.

Meanwhile, they are taking their time with the one package they have received so far. To those who have gotten paid, how long have your "processing" times been?
Why would you need to refresh the mailing time after carrying on so long about the 25 day period? Did you lock in the trade 20 days ago? It only takes about 5 business days to ship unless you're in Alaska.

I locked my trades in over the weekend and haven't sent or refreshed the mailing time. Based on what you kept saying.

On my last order I refreshed the mailing time so that the submit was a day before I sent package.

Both my N64 games had damage to the labels. Very light damage though. Its still processing. I was worried about this. I thought it would be ok though since the lowest condition says it can be personalized. Some right their name in marker and I mess up my labels. Not sure if that will pass lol.

No box for the PSOne, but in very good shape, despite finding it at a goodwill for $10 a few months back.

Well maybe imperfections was kind of sugarcoating it, DK64 had a small tear in the label and I think Kirby had some writing of a kid's name on it and the label was somewhat faded.

Man, now I'm sad. I have two PSone's, no boxes, bought for $1.00 each at yard sales. Also, I just found a few more disc only games I should have sent in. Oh well, hope they accept what I sent them. The worst game I send in was Doom 64, it had names and codes written on the back of the cart, but no marker on the label that I remember.

Are you in AK as well or just poking of us northern folk?

On topic though when was Doom 3 $30? I checked it last night and it was around $2 or something like that.

Neither. It was just a statement abot a conversation a few pages back.

I'm from FL.

Certainly if someone were still sourcing the games to send in they would have wanted to re-lock their trade-ins. I maybe should have since I still haven't retrieved my SNES collection from the basement to scavenge from and my ship by date on some games is tomorrow. Only a (very minor) problem because I think the trade-in specific free shipping labels go away at that point.

Damn, I as planning on doing a massive buying spree this weekend as I have like 5 used games tores in my area to scout, but all the titles on my list have bottomed out since yesterday. Doom 3 dropped from 30 to one dollar. KOTR and Nightfire are dead too.

I got about seven trades locked in though. I saw yesterday that Morrowind had jumped from one dollar to 30.00. I rushed home, printed the label and got it in the mail asap. I've had that game for so long and it's been practically worthless. Now it is back to 1 buck. lol

I sure hope the video game trades don't go the way of blu-rays. They are offering a mere .10 for new release blu-rays, even expensive tv seasons. It's insane.
Do they stop 'verifying' games around 5pm? I don't think I've had anything verified after 6pm.

The wait...is bad.
Same here. Is it worse to know that the fate of our trade-ins is in the hands of workers who may or may not be morning people?

Have I really "carried on" about it? It seems like you were the one carrying on about it - do I need to quote all your posts arguing with about 4 or 5 different people about the issue? I thought maybe if I stepped in and put my 2 cents in it might stop. I was wrong ;).

Sometimes it does take more than 5 business days from the West Coast. Add weekends and it can be up to 8-9 days. If you wait 7, then add 10 (say, worst case), then they take 5 days to process, you are at 22, which is pushing it.

Like I said, I'll have no problem sending them in. But I like to refresh them when I can so that I have even more time - makes sense to me no matter what the deadline is. And I also said that because I am on the West Coast I never like to push the 25-day limit. In fact, I've never mailed anything more than 2 days past the 7-day period. But others have with no issues (especially if their shipping times are shorter). I just want to make sure there's plenty of cushion in there for slow delivery, natural disasters, and long processing time on Amazon's end (during which the clock continues to tick - it doesn't end when they receive them). None of that changes the fact that it is not the 7 days that counts, it is the 25 total.

How is it that this fool is allowed to go on and on and others keep getting edited out. I dont get it. I guess misinformation and ignorance is acceptable but blunt truth not. Yeah ok just go ahead and edit this out too. Thank you.

Ajay:you will get it in 7 days.3:26:16 AM

Me:Unless you mean its another 7 days after the 7 day post by date.

According to amazon reps. Amazon can reject it within 7 days after the first 7 day post my date. That isn't a mandatory deadline though. Accoring to this rep. I'm also asking others. So far the 25 day limit is made up pulled from thin air.

Yeah, well, you just saw there how useful it is to contact an Amazon rep about fine details of the trade-in progam. Most of us could have predicted you'd get a near random answer.

I have a policy that I don't edit/delete discussion when I am involved with it, even if I think it has gone too far and it needs to be cleaned up - don't want to "abuse" my power since we often get accused of that. My mistake was getting involved - I should have just cleaned it out to begin with. Now, if another mod wants to do that, so be it.

I do, however, delete posts when people change someone else's quotes and misrepresent what they said, no matter how deep I am involved...

On an unrelated note, I feel bad for those like Velo and sp00ge who missed out on these great trade-in values. However, it's not like this was some 1 hour or even 1 day thing that could easily be missed. Hell, I was able to lock in trades, think about it for a few days, mail them, and have them already enter the processing stage before the values dropped. The prices have been high for nearly 2 weeks and it has been discussed extensively. I mean, it was one thing to miss by chance (as I did) the 1 cent Amazon Warehouse Deals games since that only lasted an hour (or three). But missing things that run more than a week is on you ;).

Yeah in order to get better data I'm going to spend time asking this to a few reps. So far all the ones I spoke with don't exactly comprehend what I'm asking. At the same time though nothing is ever mentioned about 25 days other then like you said it was tested by community members.

Their terms of service is weird because without an official deadline cut off I can lock in a trade today and sent it to them next year( assuimg it gets post in the first 7 days and gets lost after) and should be able to get that credit amount that was locked in as its a 7 day post my date.

technically it can sit lost in tranit for infinite time and wheb ever they get it they have to honor the ammount. Or a customer service rep needs to wise up and give me an official recieve by deadline.

Also I never quoted anyones post then edited it. Least not that I recall. I jut quoted people but not edited their own words. Least not in this thread i think. Ive done that other times.

Well, terms of service or not, the trade-in submission will expire in 25 days. And when that happens they will just send the games back to you if you send them in.

Unfortunately I don't have the email any more with the exact date this expired, but this is what it looks like on your trade-in account. I just never bothered to send this game in (and forgot to cancel it):

Correct. When I look at my dupes of trades I set up I can see the time frames from when I submit them to when they are listed as expired.

So now I understand where you're getting the 25 days from. That's actually in the trade in account system.

What confuses me though is it makes sense that is the recieve by deadline yet they don't bother to list it.

It leaves room for loopholes.

You'd think it be more important to state that the merchant must recieve the item within 25 days of a submitted trade vs just stating to please post within 7 days. Very confusing.

I'm not surprised.

Can someone tell me how to use the ignore function I've heard about.

uhh click on their name and hit ignore?????:hot::imwithst:

oh don't feel bad for me at all. i saw this thread the day those values went up, i just never thought they would last that long at all, thought it was a glitch or mistake like they have had before and just be sent back, and i thought my copies were mostly without manuals/cases/etc. I just looked today and found both zeldas, mario sunshines, double dash, pikmin, tales of something, sonic adventures, gotcha force, etc and all were complete. im as much ocd for completeness then as i am now. so i told my girl, we can keep these 10 games or i can send them in for 300 amazon credit, and that's like 10 months of diapers and we are about 6 weeks from having another lil baby, so shes like go for it. but then i check it and it's done. definate procrastination tho. just been working alot/gaming when im not at work/etc. peace all and thanks io.

Why are we going back/forth over such a trivia matter? 2 pages of this shit? Come on. If you don't believed what 6,7 ppl told you, submit your trades within 7 days, ignored what they all told you. Problem solve.

All I care about are, when is the next $500 DVD or $200 ps2? Wading through 2 pages of idiotic arguments for tiv info..

So i only really started paying attention recently when the values went up...

Was this just a one time thing or have the prices fluctuated in the past ? Any sense to keep on checking or this pretty much over?

1.) Prices have fluctuated in the past, but never to this extent. There were times where a single game would jump to $60 or an accessory going to $200 but never (that I can recall) a situation where there were hundreds of old common games trading in for $30 each.

2.) Oh it's dead. I can only imagine how many copies of Doom 3 Xbox and Frogger PS1 they have waiting to be processed.

*side bar* With deals like this I imagine the total number of people 'involved' is 3-4x the number of people posting in this thread. Lurkers
Did doom 3 trade in for 30? I have the steelbook copy with sleeve pristine.
–_–
Only the regular version of doom 3 (xbox) was bumped up to $30.
Like you, I own the collector's edition w the steelbook.
The trade in value was only $1 (or so).

On an unrelated note,
I just found my spare copy of Rogue Squadron II (gamecube).
I though I had a spare when the trade in value was high but I couldn't find it.
Until now.....it was somehow stashed together with my regular collection.
I feel dumb.
Oh well... at least I got a few things traded in when the party was live.

Thanks Man, I don't feel so left out now.

One of my packages was delivered to them today. .just hope i get the credit.. (doom3 was part of the lot)

Just wish i would of acted faster.. this was prob the best opportunity to get rid of some games just laying around doing nothing.
I have a disc only gc game. I have a gamestop cover and case for it but will they accept it as acceptable?
Remove the cover and do your best to remove the stickers that I assume are still on the case, and Amazon should accept it as Acceptable.

fuck guys, I need some advice. I can't decide if I want $191 worth of Amazon credit or if I want Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, Mario party 4, 5, 7, Wario World, and Super Smash Bros Melee sitting on my shelf forever. Opinions?

I should mention I've been a die hard Mario fan my entire life (not as much as Sonic though :p )

I also don't know if I should even bother sending in my Wavebird controllers without packaging. I've read the giant orange font OP several times, which worries me.

Here's hoping they accept my copy of Seaman as "good". The outer sleeve is a bit banged up but all in one piece, but the jewel case, game, and microphone inside are all impeccable.

As seen here.

Curious to see what happens with anyone that sent in a naked wavebird. I didn't bother sending in mine after all; figure I'll just straight-up sell it somewhere down the line...probably won't get $50 though.

Also, based on what's been said, I think you'd be taking a risk sending in your packaging-less Wavebirds, so it's up to you; I wouldn't do it, but that's just me. :)

Nintendo's pretty good about offering their back catalog for download, so I'd definitely expect to see Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion available for purchase if not on the Wii U then definitely on whatever follows that.

That's the justification I used anyway.

For every game I've sent in as acceptable, I've just sent the disk in a paper sleeve and they've taken them with no problem. Acceptable grade says it can be missing pretty much everything but the actual game disk.

So I locked in a few Xbox games but haven't sent them in yet. Here's what I locked in:
  • Futurama - $30
  • Grand Theft Auto Double Pack - $30
  • Simpsons Hit & Run - $30 (Not sure I'll get this b/c the manual is missing)
  • Dragon's Lair 3D - $30
  • 007 Nightfire - $30 (Platinum Hits case)
  • Lord of the Rings: Return of the King - $16.45

Seems like I could get more for Futurama on eBay, but the others seem like a good deal. Any insight from fellow CAGs?

Does anyone know if the Wii Dragon's Lair Trilogy is graphically superior to the Xbox version? I know the Xbox one can do 1080i. What's the max resolution of the Wii version?
