CAGiversary!
Being a Blue Jays fan, this is the best day of the year for me. Tied for 1st in the division. :D

This should be an interesting year, the first one in the steroid free-era. I can't wait to see these events unfold.

Steroid-free? Lolz.

I just hope some little team like the Pirates or Brewers has some amazing season.

You're in NY, how can you not root for the Yankees?

Anyways I just read in the paper that several people in the minor leagues got suspended due to steroids. You want to know what the punishment is for the 3rd violation? 60 measly games. Not even half season. I hope baseball knows how stupid they look in the eyes of the public right now.

Edit: Here's a link to the article

I'm in Western NY, which is shunned by NYC.

The suspensions for steroids are a joke. If you use them once... 10 games. Do they really think that's gonna stop that player from trying again? Even 60 games... it does nothing. A lot of these guys are trying to make the majors, and it's worth it to them to take fairly long suspensions and risk their life.

And with the way baseball handled the steroid issue before... they get no respect for trying to do this on their own.

Sadly, the only way the steroid issue is going to be properly handled is when a star athlete dies on the field... and it's gonna happen eventually.

Steroids still aren't being taken seriously enough... it's not just about giving you a physical advantage... the stuff being used improperly KILLS people. It's not a coincidence that a huge amount of wrestlers are dying, or their bodies are useless, at a young age.

It scares me to think how many athletes are on steroids. And not just professionals... if some high school/college kid is offered to take steroids, I can't see many turning it down.

Westbrook had a great game yesterday against the White Sox. If it hadn't been for that error by Perralta that gave up Chicago's only run, we may have had a chance to win.

I'm sure Omar is having a good chuckle right now.

Go Tribe!

Yeah, I've always like Buerhle and usually pick him up in my fantasy baseball draft.

I passed this year because of the rumors of his injury being worse than it really was.

With the Tigers improving, the Central should be a lot of fun this year.

Go Cardinals! They'll get to the post season definitely, they don't need the traitor Rentaria.

Concerning steroids, who cares. I'm just happy Bonds is injured, I hate him.

I missed the Yanks and Sawx on Sunday since I was at WrestleMania, and I was gone most of the day yesterday, so today's my first day getting to watch some games, although I had watched spring training games.

Right now, the Marlins are destroying the Braves on TBS, and the Dodgers vs. Giants game is on the local Fox Sports channel.

Since I don't live in central Illinois anymore, I don't get the White Sox, Cubs, and Cardinals games locally, which sucks because I love all 3 teams and there were games on almost every day.

Out here, we get the Dodgers and Angels, so it's all right. I get to see Vlad Guerrero play for Anaheim, and Jayson Werth of the Dodgers went to school with me, so I'm planning on heading to Dodger Stadium to see him play this year.

At any rate... White Sox and Cubs for the World Series!
