Official CAG ESPN NBA2k5 sign-up: League is up, sign up now!!!!

Like I said, I'll give it till Friday night at 10 for people to sign into their teams and then I'm generating the schedule. We'll go with what we have and if its too funky, then we'll make a 12 player league.
 
I wouldn't generate the schedule w/ the current team choices...If a bunch of ppl fail to sign up, I'm sure the ones that have wouldn't mind picking different teams. I still think that we should figure out a fair way to choose teams rather than 'first come first serve.'

Maybe we could have a single elimination tourney to figure out a 'draft order' of sorts for team choosing?

This might seem like overkill, but if two ppl are of equal skill, the team w/ better stats will usually win.

In fact, I don't think I'm at fault in saying that often times, even lesser players w/ better teams are liable to walk away with a dubya.
 
Well, first come, first serve is kinda just how its been in each league so far and as long as the people show, it works out and for the most part, people got the teams they really wanted. I mean even if we do have some sort of team pick order, whos to say we won't end up with the same teams any ways. All I know is that if this league doesn't work with who we have by Friday night, we could always go with a 12 team league in a few weeks and try it that way. Plus, if we go with this and then try another league down the road we could make everyone use a different team and do some sort of random drawing for team pick position. Trial and error my friend.
 
I've been busy with hw and projects so I haven't had a chance to sign up for the league yet. I'm goign to start playing this weekend hopefully.
 
After this league goes to shit, I'll join the next league as the Mavs. I just couldn't live with myself as playing as another team besides the Mavs.
 
Well, I can't generate the schedule, I know having an odd amount of teams could be the reason (have 17 right now) but if its not the reason, would a 12 player league be something you guys would rather have? If so, I got one all set that we could jump onto. Let me know guys.
 
BTW, if I go with another league, I'm only accepting players that were alreadu joined up in this league already, no new comers unless 11 of the people who joined don't join the 12 player league. Anyways, like I said, let me know guys.

Whenever you're up for it, I sent you a message on the ESPN messaging thing but never got a responce, or didn't see one anyways. Let me know when you're up for a game and we'll get it goin.
 
I'll actually be a person that plays. I would take the Celts if you need someone. Finally got the game last night and am digging it so far.
 
I'm stuck with 17 teams, and have been since I wanted to generate the schedule. I'll just make another thread for a 12 team league. I'll make sure its only for the people who have signed up for this one already and who will be willing to play the games.
 
Sent PM's to those who signed up for this league before the league was supposed to be generated about the new 12 player league. Once everyone gets back to me or signs in, I'll make a thread for that league.
