Official CAG Presidential Debate Drinking Game (and discussion too I suppose...)
This is terrible. Obama is letting McBane frame up the terms of the debate and faltering as a result. Ugh ugh ugh.
Are you sure you're watching the CNN debates? Obama's doing really well.

Because who watch CNN are voting for Obama anyways.

And I love how Obama brought up "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran".
Are you sure you're watching the CNN debates? Obama's doing really well.
CNN? It doesn't matter what channel you're watching on.

EDIT: Btw, I'm watching on NBC...in HI DEF!
Because who watch CNN are voting for Obama anyways.
Uh wtf

CNN is pretty damn balanced
Are you sure you're watching the CNN debates? Obama's doing really well.
I noticed the Independent's reactions are in line with Democrat's reactions... I think based on that, Obama is doing pretty well. ;)
Uh wtf

I'm gonna say it because I can.

CNN = Clinton News Network

*Drinks something hard
CNN? It doesn't matter what channel you're watching on.
I thought they were hosting it. The flyers around my dorm suggested as much, but I guess I misinterpreted them.
Are you sure you're watching the CNN debates? Obama's doing really well.
Yes. Maybe I'm just reading the body language wrong.

McCain got real salty on the last point though.
They're like 6 feet apart. They can't not look each other in the eye.
They're six feet apart, and McCain won't look anywhere near his left side. So yeah, he can.

Can "not", that is.

Anyone noticing McCain isn't wearing a flag pin? Obama is.

If conservatives are to be believed, this means Obama loves America more than McCain.

Obama's body language is not good at all. He's done some...things like frowning, that smile a couple of minutes ago.

McCain has been pretty calm for the most part.

But I feel for the most part they're running around in circles saying 'hey, this point, and again...and again'
Just like the Fed did with Washington Mutual
I was implying more about the secret bombing runs in Cambodia during the Vietnam War.

You are a complete noob unless you are watching this on C-Span

Man, I feel bad for the moderator trying to keep this thing structured.

Tom Brokaw would've smacked a bitch by now.

I don't have C-Span in Hi-Def, and they definitely won't budget for it (The Government).

As far as secret stuff, it's all the same stuff. Except some stuff you hear about, some stuff you don't.

Sheesh..McCain has trouble with that one.

EDIT: RONALD REAGAN!

You're insane... Obama has been far, far calmer than McCain (who can't stop squirming every time Obama owns him, which is often).

Though Lilboo may be right, maybe McCain just needs to poop. Old people poop all the time, I hear.

'fraid not. The enhanced clarity of hi definition allows me (already an expert in body language) to see every frown, quiver of the brow and ear movement each candidate sees.

McCain on a lot of these responses looks like a kid in a candy store with that smile. He's like 'ooh, I know exactly what I'm gonna say, it's a good one'

Yeah, I couldn't agree more. He's like a little kid who wants to interrupt mommy on the telephone.

McCain is throwing out a lot of cute talking points and sound bites, but Obama's responses seem to have much more substance and thought to them.
We spent 3 million on bears! Did those bears have kids?! I still don't know!
Colbert is gonna be pissed.

You could write a Johnny Cash song about all the foreign places McCain brags about visiting more. Maybe he could take Palin to a few, help her break in her fresh new passport.

The moderator usually lets the one who's winning continue on...and on...and on.

Because that moderator thinks that person is right and the other one is wrong. Simple human nature of liking what they hear.

I am glad someone else noticed.

Reminds me of that kid who had really rich parents that so he got to travel anywhere he wanted for spring break. Now you cant talk about anything without him interrupting with a "I remember when I went there. Ha, ha, ha, you havent lived until you been there like I have."

Also, I dont like how McCain talk to Obama like he is a child. "See, this young folks dont understand policy, back in my day we blew shit up and asked questions later."

Seriously, if McCain fucking says Obama doesnt understand something one more time.

Seemingly all of his statements start out with, "Well he simply doesnt understand...."

Correct?

McCain is doing an great job, he's dominating this. Obama is even stuttering and making some awesome funny faces. Loved the comment Obama made about us only owning 3% of the world's oil, what an idiot.

That's because the underlying theme of each of their positions that won't be said outloud is:

Obama - If you didn't like Bush, don't vote McCain, he's more of the same.

McCain - Obama's experience in foreign policy and war is very little compared to mine.

Nearly everything each of them say hints at these themes.

Anyway, one thing I've learned about political debates is that whoever you sided with before the debate is the one you are going to think won it.

That doesn't mean anything. His body language is showing that he is upset and frustrated when McCain is saying things about Obama that are oversimplified, fact omitting, or simply wrong. McCain seems distance and perhaps more calm because Obama is lying or simplifying something McCain said every other sentence.

Body language is a lot in these debates. It doesn't matter if it was at McCain or not. If you remember about the first debate in 2004, a lot of people criticized Bush's body language, saying he looked tired and upset and frustrated. And he lost his advantage at the time due to that debate.

Still didn't look Obama in the face- not even when they shook hands. Either he's having trouble keeping his anger in check or he's scared.
