If that MK wasn't soooo expensive . I would be more interested. I will just stick the the regular for now I suppose. I did get the last c.e version with the book ends and still in use today .

That's not good. I commented in your thread and they didn't PM me or anything. Not sure what I was expecting, but surely more than a $5 GC. It seemed like they were giving away a lot of free GC and games during the launch of this game and the N3DSXL, so I'm sure they are thrilled to see people who actually received their items complaining about damaged packaging. Nintendo is on a roll lately.

I will be picking up my price mistake Order 1886 CE in store on Friday, so hope all goes well with those.

 
So jealous of all you that got in on that. The one day I sleep in that happens. I woke up, entered the thread since it was still VGD and nope it was dead. I shed a tear when I closed it. I used a cert to get mine to $53 after tax so only $2 more than what I would have paid if I got in. Still sucks, oh well win some lose some.

My order of The Order 1886 PE shipped from amazon! :D I can finally sigh in relief, they cancelled my ghost edition a while back so I was still salty about that. But it's all water under the bridge now!

Ah, I didnt realize Japan uses "Figurine" for figures of all sizes. Most times you hear that in America its something under a few inches.

Wow, that stinks. They must've had a TON of auctions going if they were trying to make a grand exit. But I'd think they really wouldn't be getting away with much if they've been selling for years -- its not like they could just easily vanish with that much history present. (Though arguably eBay might not have the resources to track them down).

 
Yeah I don't really care for the reviews. Some sides have given it some good reviews. Still excited to play it.

Metacritc has went up form like 63 when it started to 66. Seems like the more reviews coming out the better over all picture we'll get.

Yeah, I sent a message back asking for $10. Attached a pic as wel to really show the damage. After having shipping issues with this first of all and then receiving a damaged product, it's really disappointing as an Elite customer.

Starting out at a 6 is concerning. Giant Bomb just gave it 2 out of 5 stars. I'm disappointed. I think the haters are going to win this time.

The bad reviews for The Order 1886 makes me believe that the CE and PEs for this game will actually get price reductions. I mean if they cant sell %em...

I pre-ordered the CE of The Order back on July 4th (and completely forgot about it).  It just shipped for $48 after GCU which reminded me of why I bought it back then. :)

You should watch the destiny version of this video lol. I really enjoy destiny but even I cracked up at it.
 
Saw this crap from a mile away and as long as people keep saying things like "I work all day, have kids, and even though I am taking the little time I have to myself to post this comment I desperately want short games." Nothing wrong with having a short campaign, but if you're story is short and you have no replay value of course people aren't going to be happy with that. What surprised me is that the critics actually saw it this time! I bet you if the game had a half decent multiplayer this game would go from 6's to 8's.

Of course people can be unhappy with that. People can refuse to buy the game and buy games that they deem valuable.

Some of us are saying there is no need to keep complaining on the board, over and over and over again. We also point out that while you may be unhappy with such game, some of us busy people find value in it and will continue to buy it. We all buy games we like and continue living on with our lives.

With that being said, the "quicktime overload" review is driving me away from the game. I hate quick time events with a passion. If developers want to have quicktime then your game better have a atomsphere like Heavy Rain.

 
I guess my prediction of the 1886 PE being the "Post Pandemic Edition" for the PS4 was a huge miss.  It seemed likely since it was out of stock for a long time, but Amazon & GS have had them available for order for a while, and more cancellations seem like they'll be on the way.

I will still be picking my $48 CE up @ BBY tomorrow since the TIV on the game will probably still be $44. The Premium edition I pre-ordered at GS will be getting canceled.

I've only put in 45 minutes on my New 3DS and aside from the "what could have been" moments I have thinking about Monster Hunter on the Vita I think the game is phenomenal. I don't see how even a fan would want the CE though, it just seems to have nothing of interest.

The collector's pin I guess. The model's shit but it still comes with the one purple pin you need to fill out the full set. It's just crazy because I've had friends calling me about buying some for them since NW is the only place that has handfuls of them.

We'll disagree on the MH4 though, this is the best one yet especially now you can actually lock onto shit. It would look phenomenal on the vita but I doubt the actual gameplay would be any different

I've only played my new 3DS for a few hours but I keep getting sucked back into Tales of Hearts on my nightly gaming times.

You know what also would be great on the Vita: Ace Combat. I can't believe Namco hasn't launched an Ace Combat for the Vita since the PSP had two of them...both were pretty good (not great though due to lack of extra controls). The new one that came out for the new 3DS is the game perfected IMO.

Wow... The Order is getting destroyed by some outlets. Really didn't expect it to be that bad, since Ready at Dawn and SCE are such talent studios.

Well let's take a different approach. I'm a 30 year old with an active social life. I will NEVER buy any game that is entirely composed of just online game play (see Titanfall). I also like to stay away from games that require 60+ hours of grinding and leveling up. It' just not fun for me to get so involved in a game like that so I tend to pick one or maybe two a year.

I play games because I enjoy playing games. I don't need to play video games to test my competitive edge or to be social; their are real life activities for that.

Something for example (just going from the past year) like Wolfenstein, Shadow of Mordor or Alien: Isolation are the perfect length for me. You can beat the game in 7-10 hours (more or less depending on how much you like to explore or complete) and get the full experience. Uncharted and TLOU are some of my favorites games and I didn't touch the multiplayer (other the UC3 multiplayer beta pre launch). Anytime I waste playing multiplayer is time I could be putting towards completing the next game.

I'm still sad that games have steered way from offline co-op (like RE5)

Well let's take a different approach. I'm a 30 year old with an active social life. I will NEVER buy any game that is entirely composed of just online game play (see Titanfall). I also like to stay away from games that require 60+ hours of grinding and leveling up. It' just not fun for me to get so involved in a game like that so I tend to pick one or maybe two a year.

Offline co op needs to make a comeback. I'm sick of everything just having online co op like it is feasible for me to go buy a second system just so me and my wife can play together. It needs to be brought back even more in racing games.
 
Besides Halo MCC there's STILL almost NO reason to pick up 4 Xbox one controllers! That was the whole charm of the 360 IMO, the couch co-op... I haven't had a need for 2 controllers yet this gen and am rather sad about it.

if the wiiu qualifies its the only console of the 3 that I've needed more than one controller and I have 4 of them for it
