I thought they were just going to send a regular copy of the game for free.  If they actually send me a free LE I'll be super impressed.

I got the same email a few minutes ago. Even if it's the standard copy of the game getting it for free is awesome! Mine also said to expect it Monday.

The way the email is worded and they said "your game" makes it read like the game you actually ordered. If I get the regular game I'll be pleased, but still disappointed.

 
Man, why didn't they "cancel" mine?! Would have gone nicely with the $50 GC for the cancelled N3DS preorder!

Just joking, congrats to anyone who gets a free MM LE out of this! And man, if this ends up playing out, respect to Best Buy for trying to keep people happy through this entire fiasco with anything related to Majora. With how much of a hit they're taking for it, sending out free $50 gift cards and games left and right, not to mention lost customer trust, makes you wonder what their relationship with Nintendo is going to be like from now on.

That's why I don't want to get my hopes up. If I get a free copy of the game that's great. If it's a free LE then I'll tattoo best buy rocks across my chest.

Received my Best Buy order for Majoras Mask LE and the box is all ripped to fuck. Who is the sick bastard who packed this? Not sure if I should return. I can't post pictures sorry. But they pretty much inflated a packing balloon into the hallow cut out of the front.

I wonder though after this if Best Buy is going to politely tell Nintendo not to include them anymore with their stupid LE ideas.  Its got to have been a huge headache for them and there has been no upside at all for Best Buy (or Target etc).  I think Nintendo may have won a short term buzz victory but long term the damage is going to be punishing, both in the retail channel and with unhappy consumers.

 
did anyone actually get the felyne pins from Monster hunter? I thought we were suposed to get the felyne 1 but I haven't seen shit from GS or my amazon shipment

Did you manage to check if the pre-order pin was inside the retail box? I just ordered this earlier today when they returned on stock at Amazon and rep confirmed it will come with the pin.

I picked up my MH4 CE this morning and the pre-order pin was separate from the box.  Inside the CE should only have the one listed on the CE contents.

We were supposed to get a different pin as a pre-order bonus though. Right now for the felyne collection series 1 there's 2 pins that can't be bought. 1 that's inside the CE and one that we were supposed to get for pre-ordering. I didn't get the pre order one.

Received my MH CE from amazon, no pin as well. Also received my MM CE from Best Buy. Box ripped where figure was (its pretty fragile) Though I plan on opening it and I had GCU so its no biggie. 

Talked to an amazon rep, it seems most people who ordered the CE of the game did not receive a pin since it wasn't on sale for long on the website and they messed up. (The standard edition with pin is still available.)

So the black one is the pin included in the LE box of the game, the green one was the exclusive pin they handed out at PAX and other conventions that we were supposed to get as a pre-order incentive for the game and is advertised in all the art from amazon and GS. So far I only got the purple one from the game and got lucky and a very nice lady handed me one during the MM triple launch. Sucks balls though

Actually its was much better at $50 shipped around Black Friday. Thats when I got mine, still haven't opened it and will just leave it sealed now.

 
I wonder if WIS GS orders are still going to get a pin?  Mine still hasn't even shipped to the store yet wtf.

MOTHER fuck FRY'S!!!

So, before heading out to Fry's at 5am this morning to wait in line to buy MM LE, I check their website and find that it's listed for purchase and available for in store pickup. So, I add it to cart, select my local store and check out. I figure I'll head over there anyway and try and get one for myself, as the one I ordered is a birthday gift for my son. I get there and I'm about 30 something in line.

At 7:30am I get a confirmation that my order is ready for pickup. Ten minutes later, Fry's begins handing out slips for those buying the LE and/or the console and they stop about 10 people short of me. Okay, no worries, I've got one reserved for my son and that's all that matters...

Doors at 8 and everyone files into the gaming area to pickup their goods, I head straight over to the registers to pickup my pre-order, I'm the only one doing so. I give the cashier my order number and he leaves to go and get it. He returns after a few minutes and radios asking where the pre-orders are and some chatter follows. He flags the department manager over and they proceed to discuss what's going on. Ten minutes later she comes over and tells me that it was a mistake and that pre-orders were not supposed to be available, and that what they received were only available on a first come, first serve basis and apologizes for it. For another ten minutes I have a spirited discussion with her on how pre-orders are supposed to work, how they should honor their mistake and colorfully convey my disappointment on how it was handled. She takes down my number and says that she'll see what she can do for me...yeah right, as these things are flying out the door.

I leave super pissed and multiple calls to corporate only lead back to a promise that the store manager will be giving me call about my issue. That was 10 hours ago, I'm still waiting...

Probably my last chance at one as I was always a day late and a dollar short to secure one previously. Hey, it's just a toy after all, right? You win some and you lose some.

Sorry for all that, but had to vent.

I also didn't get a pre-order oin from GS. I think the clerk had one, so my guess is the employees thought they were in tge box and kept them, or gave them out. I was the last one to pick up MH4 CE today and totally forgot about tge pin. Wonder if there is anything I can do to get one now.

 
Well, I have 2 MM LE game orders from Amazon and Best Buy that haven't even shipped yet...

One LE from BB shipped yesterday and UPS (which always delivers at 6 here) tried delivering at 11 AM this morning...while I was at work. Drives me nuts.

Was it supposed to come with a pin? I did a pre-order months ago, and didn't get pin.

I leave super pissed and multiple calls to corporate only lead back to a promise that the store manager will be giving me call about my issue. That was 10 hours ago, I'm still waiting...

Probably my last chance at one as I was always a day late and a dollar short to secure one previously. Hey, it's just a toy after all, right? You win some and you lose some.

Sorry for all that, but had to vent.
