Can anyone confirm the pin is inside the game case from amazon?  I don't want to open it to find its not there, then I can't return to amazon.

 
Dumb question but why is majora's 3ds so popular? Was qty very limited? Did Nintendo even provide production number i.e ps4 20th ed. I still don't know why there were a line with 30 people deep.

After you said that above the first thing that popped into my head was the movie Tommy Boy. To paraphrase the quote from the movie:

"Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it NINTENDO, I will. I got spare time."

People just seem to go Nintendo crazy. I admit that even I do a little on certain things. Usually Zelda related. Why do people go crazy about anything.

 
My MM LE game shipped from Gamestop today. Supposed to have it Tuesday, woo hoo. I had preordered on 1/6 and did a WIS ship to home order.

 
My Majora's le game is still stuck in prep on best buy...

My Majora's Mask LE came today from Best Buy.  Zero padding, but it actually arrived ok surprisingly.  I totally expected BB to ship it in a bubble mailer or that silver plastic wrap.  Since I was unsure BB was actually going to follow through (since they weren't listed as an official retailer originally) I also did an order at Gamestop.com for the bundle with guide.  That one is backordered.

My Majora's Mask N3DS is still sitting at "Preparing Order" at BB along with a black N3DS.  Meh!

 
Literally just got a shipping notice for me 2 MM LEs from Amazon at 2:49 EST. Shipping from Pennsylvania too so should be here Tuesday.

Im not sure if them shipping both in the same box means for them arriving damaged. I just hope they pack them better than what Im hearing about Best Buy.

Would you mind posting pics of the disposition of the pins inside the CE? Was the CE shrink wrapped or something? The reason I ask is because I purchased it yesterday when the orders reopened and Amazon CS informed that I m supposed to get the PIN.

I posted pics a few pages back. They're both shrunk wrapped, you're getting a black one in the box and we were supposed to get a green one separately.

Sorry, I think my quote was incorrect. I correct that requesting more info to a person who informed that the pin was in fact inside his CE.

I got a cancellation notice for my Limited Edition Skull Kid Majora's Mask game on Wednesday that didn't list a reason. I got a email yesterday saying they sent that email in error and due to the trouble it may have caused they are shipping me the game for free.

Good guy Best Buy.

Is the MH4 CE worth it? I still have to change the payment method on my order, but I did already get the regular edition from BB. Been going back and forth on if I should just cancel the CE
 
Excited for my MM CE.  Got a shipment notification yesterday, UPS 2 day air hooray.  It's shipping to my gamestop which I will then pick it up from.  Placed an in store order.

Gonna annihilate that damn box.  Gonna put dat Skull Kid on top of my dresser.

Depends if you think the extras are worth it for you. From the looks of it, the figure is probably the size of a fist or smaller.

The best deal is from Best Buy for standard game, especially if you paid with gift card and have GCU.

Thanks! Upon looking at the extras, they don't really seem worth it considering I bought the game from BB already. That was a pretty great deal on it

Well in that case I would think my order will come with it. Most likely it was a cancelled preorder that returned on site yesterday.
Won't have a chance to confirm at least in a couple of months though.
 
Well ive been watching unboxing videos.  one from gamestop did not have the pin inside the box.  This video here does have the pin inside the box. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0C8iZuqX2Oo  I see two conflicting statements in this thread.  Jvang117, you got the extra pin in the box, where did you preorder from?  Gnoh, you did not get the pin in the box, where did you preorder from?

I just watched the video you posted and boom, both pins were in there. I got mine from Amazon!
 
lol this is kinda stupid.My GS order had a rubber band to attach the green pin on the side as it was separate. Why would they do that when apparently Nintendo just put them in for the amazon orders? Oh Nintendo...

 
Well I feel retarded. After feeling stupid and contacting Amazon about the missing pin, I finally decided I should do the smart thing and just open my box. The pre-order pin was right there next to the CE pin. Now I feel like a jerk for complaining to Amazon after getting scared by posts yesterday.

My freqking gamestop skullkid got cancelled it happend because my paypal didn't go through five days ago, called them, changed it to debit and still got cancelled . How the hell am I supposed to depend on them
 
The real fun of the pins is that Capcom sold out of most and now they're $250 for a set on ebay.

I'm wondering if the reason why MM LE's arent shipping from Best buy is they're trying to figure out if they should just make all pending orders free like w/ the people who got canceled.

Just opened my Majora's Mask LE from Best Buy and had the same problem others had with it packed face down on the air bag. The front of the box is pushed in and torn in 2 spots. Not a huge deal to me as I'm opening it, but still a bad job by Best Buy.

 
Got my MM CE today from Amazon and i must they they did a great job packaging the box.  Now i just have to play the waiting game with BB on my MM3DS

I'm having the same issue so I called the Elite line today and the guy told me that there is a backorder of the systems, my estimated delivery date is the 23rd :(. He did issue $10 worth of points to my account though for the trouble, so may be worth calling in.

if that true then that worrisome cause if it backordered that mean zero stock and awaiting more but if there is no more stock to be gotten from Nintendo I wonder if this mean more mass cancelations from best buy then for the system

My system will supposedly still be here Thursday, but my LE is apparently backordered and maybe might show up sometime mid March. I doubt it though.

I never actually got an email, I had a notification from Google Wallet on my phone that it had shipped. This appears to have been a mistake, because MyBestBuy.com still shows my order in the "PREPARING ORDER" phase and also because Google Wallet shows that the one I ordered from GS WIS was delivered two days ago (not the case) so I think GW is a little confused. Sorry for the false hope!
