It is $129.99 and preorders for the SE store start Monday at 11am pst. They did say that other retailer's sale times will vary so maybe we will see some GCU action.

Sweet, I'd prefer to get it from BB or Amazon, but I'll definitely be putting in an order at the SE store as well.

Way too hype for the expansion, and that Dragon looks amazing.

You should use PayPal so then you also get 6 months to pay it off if you use their credit line. I throw most big ce on there and pay off within the first month or use credit I get from selling uv codes and other digital items towards them.

Here is SE saying that pre-orders will begin on Monday at the SE store. They say that times from other retailers may vary but do not list other retailers at all. They do not differentiate between standard and collector's edition so it is also possible the CE is store exclusive.

So looks like it comes with a dragon statue, an art book? He showed a blank white page so not sure if it is paper to draw on or an actual art filled book, and going to assume that other Blu-ray Disc is a making of or soundtrack. Also the in game items as well.
 
My Type-0 Collector's Edition just arrived from the S-E store. It was completely surrounded by crumpled up paper and in perfect condition. Glad I actually have this weekend off so I can start playing tonight.

Looks like I'll be getting mine Monday.

The CE for Heavensward seems a bit on the expensive side for $129.99. Dragon statue which looks BEAUTIFUL, artbook, soundtrack -- I'd wager that to be $100 comparing it to other CE's. Hopefully the artbook is pretty fat/soundtrack is more than 5-6 songs. In the realm of 15 maybe?

 
I want that Heavensward CE because I like FF and think the dragon statue and other stuff is pretty cool, but I just can't get into MMORPGs. Maybe I'll buy it and sell off the digital content.
 
Just confirmed with the community rep that CE will not be Se online store exclusive.  I am on the other boat, I want all the stuff but the statue lol.

Can you refer me to the post where you laid out the instructions? Not sure how useful it'd be to me personally... but is there an option where users (other then yourself obviously) can notify others?

 
I wonder if they'll restock the bloodborne CE a few days or a week after release like the order 1886 CE. Those can still be found everywhere
 
Even if Bloodborne is as good as everybody hopes it'll be, I don't see a $20 value for the extras. But mind you, I don't care about steelbooks.

  • When you post a Alert post what the item is and what system and what retailer and a link to the page if possible
  • If a Alert is posted do not post reply to it in this group for it will bury the alert that was posted and people could miss out so instead post here in the Cag thread on the website or in the 2nd group which be explained below
CAG CE/LE General Talk:

  • Any General CE/LE Talk or questions
  • If a alert was posted in the alert thread that alert could be discuss in this group as to not clutter the alerts group burying the alert

So when you PM me your Line Username to be added specify which group you want to be added to or even both if you desire.

Again im doing this as a way for Cags to help other Cags like a buddy system so therefore just 2 simple rules: (Breaking either could result in termination from group)

  • No Trolling (Meaning do not post a false alert just to be trolling to get a rise out of others)
  • No Bragging of Reselling or Hoarding Multiples for profit

I agree, but CAG did get rid of the "groups"...and I've suggested for years that they make certain sections private to prevent lurking.

When the groups were set up I didn't feel it was meant to be exclusive. My impression is that it was meant to be a clear and mobile source of an alert that wasn't buried in a general thread. The instructions for joining are in the thread and there is still plenty of room in both the CE and Amiibo groups. Maybe the instructions should be in the OP (maybe they already are, not sure), but it seems to me it is not an exclusive thing.

They dumped the groups on CAG when they changed forum SW, though there has been no real push from Cheapy to put it back in any fashion. Regardless, going to some off-site means to provide info defeats the purpose of the site.

No thanks. I don't need to be part of the special crowd who hoards info off-site and passes it around the rest of the "cool kids". I will just keep relying on other "non-cool" CAGs for info, if there any left.

So much passive aggression, I'd imagine a 6th grade girl over there typing these responses lol. These groups aren't for people that check CAG all day. It's for people that may not be able to check the site or review pages and pages of fluff like the Amiibo thread just to find a link that's now sold out.

Lol the group is in no way for the "cool kids" but meant to help people who can't come to the site daily and don't want to have a bunch of spam in their email from this thread. It is simply a way they can get alerts to their phones about a ce going up for sale.
 
like I said once it's posted there, it's posted here too. The notification in the group is a lot more convenient, when I can't check the site constantly, than missing something. It's also not exclusive you just need an invite because that's how the app works. All it takes to get an invite are some manners and the words "May I please have an invite?" You also have to ask the OP of each group as far as I know.
 
Basically it's for lurkers so they can put forth even less effort than before in order to find deals.

Oh look, now it's a problem because it's not an exclusive access club and like ghost said its MSRP and the latest CE that went up (MGS) lasted for several hours. So if somebody didn't get it at that point it has nothing to do with the line group or here. Further more like I said it was posted here right as it was sent in the group.

The app is meant to supplement the site, to help you when you don't happen to be on CAG at any given moment. The information in the app alerts is not exclusive, in all cases so far, it's been posted here first.

Also, membership list is not exclusive, it's clearly open to everyone who isn't obviously a scalper.

BTW, I'm referring to the CE app list in this thread. The app list in the Amiibo thread does seem to be exclusive IME, so that one is obviously a different situation.

Anyone think Best Buy will have a store pick up option when the mgs ce is available. I have one on amazon so I'd rather guarantee release date delivery than get the gcu discount. Waited too long for this game!
