You know it doesnt have to be big to be of great quality. I think its more than just a PVC figure.

I don't know why people who don't play XIV want a CE of an expansion.

 
Glad i bowed out and decided not to preorder the CE even though I was able to get through the checkout process while others were struggling. I definitely think that was a reflection of their website being poorly run and not super high demand. Very few (like almost none) of the CE's sold by Square sell out  quickly... not even something like theathrythm which was limited to 5,000. However I think a lot of people were pressured into placing orders because they got caught up in the problems with the site and thought they wouldn't be able to place it later.

Not saying I won't preorder/buy this down the road but it certainly isn't something I need to get them money for on the first day orders open

I understand it, some people may love Final Fantasy and hate MMO's. It's a nice looking statue, but not nice enough to drop $130 on a game I'll never play. To me anyways.

I'll stick with the FF Creatures figurines.
 
My Type 0 CE went from UPS to the post office yesterday. Now I sit here at work and play the waiting game. Really hope it's not a package I have to sign for.
 
Best Buy Phantom Pain Playstation search is on my top 6 of google chrome sites now.  This isn't funny anymore.  Thankfully I have a preorder in at Amazon, but I would prefer BB due to GCU and local availability.

 
Waaaaay off topic. Sorry.  Noticed the hardened edition of COD Ghosts is clearanced for xbox one down to 37 at bestbuy.  Any body know if the season pass voucher will still be honored?  Tempted to test it.

 
Well now I don't know who to believe.

Type 0 CE has been sitting within half an hour of my house since Sunday. UPS said delivery date was today. For some reason they transferred it to USPS yesterday (which is like 10 minutes away from my house).

USPS updated this morning saying the delivery date is now tomorrow. I called their main # to confirm and the guy confirmed its now tomorrow and gave me the # for my local office. I called my local office to see if I could just pick it up today or expedite it to deliver today but he said that's not possible. But then he asked for my tracking number and address and then told me it's scheduled to deliver today.

Guess I won't know til after work this evening, fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

*Edit* now the website says "Out for Delivery" but expected delivery date is still tomorrow. Doesn't really change anything guess I still won't know til tonight.

I'm debating whether it's now safe to trust that Best Buy is not going to cancel my Claptrap-in-a-Box Edition preorder with less than a week to go - so I can go ahead and cancel my Amazon preorder

 
Not going to lie, I am having instant buyers remorse after seeing the size of that statue.  Not sure that I want to pay $130 for an expansion CE of a game I finally unsubbed two months ago. 

 
In all seriousness I think the dragon looks fine. Size doesn't matter to me as much as quality and the quality looks good in my opinion.

But in all honestly if you don't already play FFXIV why even consider? This isn't an amazing priced LE like the Majoras Mask one.

On the flip I'm strongly considering cancelling and just upgrading a physical copy for $20 more dollars down the road BUT I already have the original ARR CE. I want them all!
 
I hate backpedaling from a CE that I originally wanted and was so hyped for. I feel bad saying that I was wondering how many people would agree with how small the statue is. For me that's not even the main issue, even though it is an issue. The 2nd disc is not even a soundtrack but HD trailers of the first game. What? Please tell me there's a song selection menu somewhere. Artbook looks fine. The box looks incredible. There's nothing else. The enormous amount of digital items you get are great, yeah, but we can get all that in the Digital edition for $20 more. 

For $130 I don't see it. $100 I would snatch this up so quick. The dragon looks spot-on epic as all hell but my wireless mouse is probably bigger. I keep thinking about it, there's a decent chance I'll crack and pre-order it anyway since I love the game. I just hate this feeling. 

 
Not to big on the heavensword games but when I saw the pic the limited edition, I was thinking of getting it cause it looked badass. However now that I seen the unboxing that thing is hella tiny and a huge disappointment, I'll pass but if it ever goes under $90 I'll pick it up. $130 is just ridiculous.
 
I mean, the song selection CDs are a joke anyways because they contain only a few tracks.  SE sells the actual soundtracks for $59.99 on their website which is shameful.  I honestly think that at $30 they'd sell well more than twice as many than they currently do but who knows since otaku are crazy over their stuff and will often spent any amount.  I can't imagine they are selling many at $60 though.

It's still under the FAQ of the new Members Rewards. It's clearly not working as intended though. I might contact them about it... maybe someone else wants to do the same? -.-

I have items that are currently on preorder. Will it be eligible for Members Reward Points or do I need to reorder the item?

I know it's not advisable to contact Amazon CS if you can help it, but I did after seeing that my order hadn't changed the price to reflect the lower one and my guide is set to be delivered today. I contacted them via email and the rep gave me a partial refund within 1-2 hours.

It should auto-deduct by Thursday, which is what I'm waiting on before contacting them. If I don't see an email from Amazon about the savings on the pre-order by Friday, I'll contact them to follow-up. The guide dropped post-shipment for me, though since it did it today, it'll be covered by Pre-Order Price Guarantee.

I reset my Camel^3 watch on it, in case it drops more by EOD today.

 
I actually cancelled my guide order just now, it didn't ship yet anyways. Going to go get it at Best Buy after work, going to PM Amazon. Figured in case my CE doesn't arrive today I can at least enjoy the guide.

I'm not sure if you are aware but that is standard procedure for UPS Smart Post. UPS is only contractually obligated to deliver the item to your post office. Once that has occurred your post office (USPS) must sort and deliver the item. Depending on the size of your town and how busy your post office is and when UPS does their daily deliveries with them packages can be resorted and delivered same day, next day or two days later. The tracking within UPS is only going to show when it is delivered to the P.O. and will update again when it is delivered by USPS to you and won't be very helpful in the meantime since the item is now in USPS possession.

I would lay of UPS since it's out of their hands now and you're just going to be wasting their time contacting them since as I said they have fulfilled their obligation. If the item never gets delivered then contact them since the package originated with them but as far a delay that is entirely with USPS.
