Is the DS2 collector's worth it at that price point?  ($35.19 after GCU) I'd be selling/trading in the game and keeping the collector's items.

I'm also waiting for a drop/deal on TO1886 Collector's but I'm not holding my breath.

Also has the Titanfall collector's come super low before?  I'm a big mecha fan and I just got the game for $6, so if I could get that huge statue around $50 or less I would jump.

If you think it's worth it. FYI it was $30 from Amazon last year, I remember buying it for my friend as he loves the Dark Souls stuff.

I'd say wait for it to convert at GameStop. Many of them still carry it.

Looks like Japan is getting two LE ps4 consoles for FFXIV: Heavensward. No info on pricing or whether or not it will be available for import though they do come with the game pre-installed.

It's typically not that expensive to import these days and the console is region free...

I got the MGS5 LE console for about $550 and that comes with the special edition. It's by no means cheap but it's not super expensive either.

 
So does anyone believe we will get a true battlefront CE or is that deluxe thing all we are getting? I'm asking because if that's so then I might just pre order digitally on psn since it comes with a free theme also.

That has never been like that actually, but I know what you are referencing. Plenty of NTSC J region games used O to select and X to cancel. The buttons themselves were in the same position, but they functioned different. I believe it's still like this.

However, if you are playing an NTSC U game it will act as normal. I think the new PS4 firmware lets you remap buttons anyway so it wouldn't matter.

Lol well that sucks. I passed on importing a few consoles and the vita just for that reason. Oh well. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

That is not entirely true, at least with a Japan PS3. System menus and many in game menus would switch the X and O buttons. One clear example I remember is playing a US copy of Call of Duty and the menus and game lobby would say press X on the screen but you would need to press O on the controller. There was also the rare game that would limit online play to the systems region regardless of the games region.

Just got my KH 2.5 CE today and I must say I'm impressed and relieved!!

The CE was wrapped with packing material and then put in a box with air pillows on all 4 sides.

I haven't opened it yet to verify the condition of the contents, but I am just stoked that the box is in perfect condition...feels like a bonus.

 
MK X Koarse edition CE is starting to show up on amazon warehouse for ps4/xbox one, $115-120

We should also see a few of the MGS tiny baby arm CEs pop up on amazon warehouse after launch, I think with all the Konami news (maybe being sold) and Hideo leaving the company people are having second thoughts on the CE.  Although weirdly i think if the company is sold the CE should be more valuable, no?

Nin-nin-game.com had it for MSRP at around $400 previously, but they seemed to have increased the price. They make it easy to order since you simply pay them and they send it to you.

You can also order on Sony's official website, then ship it to Tenso which then ships to you. It's a bit more tricky and will take longer though. Plus setting up a payment method on Sony's site is brutal.

 
Never understand why people go bananas for these weak limited edition consoles with nothing but a simple stencil covering maybe half of the cover.  That FF14 PS4 and the Majora's Mask 3DS are good examples.  What's the big deal.  They aren't anything special.

I'm a huge FF fan too.

At least for me, the deal with the MM n3DSXL was that it wasn't just a generic color pallette on it, and it cost the same as a regular one. Sure I could buy a regular one, spray paint it those colors, stencil the pattern on, and then make it glossy somehow. But why, when it's already done professionally for me for free? Or I could settle for a regular one, but I don't want to do that.

I sort of agree with you on the FF PS4, it isn't incredibly creative (IMO) but I can see people drooling over it because it's not generic.

Different strokes/folks.

 
It seems like the MGS5: TPP CE is still available for preorder at Target. On a side note, was it ever available for in-store pickup at Best Buy?

 
Just realized the FFX-X2 remaster LE "free" calendar will be packed with the game. At first I thought it was a gamestop exclusive. Anyone know how limited these are going to be? Like, gone in the first week or month or more like the KH LEs?

No. I believe there will no longer be in store pickup for bigger CE but maybe for smaller ones that don't take up a lot of space.

probably be around for awhile since it a port game with a lousy bonus. That why im importing the UK version that come with the steelbook for the same price.

Okay just wondering since I never saw that option when I got in on the first round of orders. I hope it gets there on release otherwise me and Best Buy are going to fight! :argue: :boxing: :twoguns:

Because its LIMITED and they will make THOUSANDS of dolla$$ selling them on EBAY next year. aka 25th PS4 and that was nothing special but the controller and look at all the flippers on EBAY.

Special Editions/LE's are all about making cash, mula, green beans, bejamin cocana, etc.
