So what's the consensus on the Batman C.E. ? Looks like I might be able to pick up one tomorrow. The ps4 version.  

I'm not sure now if I should just get the regular edition or see if I can get the c.e. with all the stuff i've been hearing about the not so great quality of the statue.

Basically, if I stick with the just the game. It is paid for and I would only be spending out of pocket about 20 bucks for the c.e. 

 
I'm not even sure the statue is worth $20 - it's basically just a lightly sculpted hunk of two-tone cheap plastic.

However, if you look at it as paying extra for the steelbook - which is great - then that's another story - if I wasn't a steelbook fan, I would've returned it.  The artbook is also a nice touch, but I believe a full-size one is coming out soon (?).

Wow, look at all that authentic weathering and accurate battle damage sculpting.

Has it yet been established that the latest waves of these showing up are the beat-to-shit ones that people returned back from the initial release? Has anyone been getting pristine copies lately?

They look very similar to the one I preordered at launch and which they refused to replace or refund. I literally had to call and e-mail them repeatedly to even get the replacement box they promised which actually showed up worse than the original one because they shoved it flat in a flattened FedEx box rather than proper packaging. They repeatedly told me they couldn't replace the whole thing because they didn't have any more. Of course, they have now sold additional copies repeatedly in the months since. Their customer service is completely horrible and I would recommend you contact your credit card company right away rather than dealing with them.

 
Got my Arkham Knight LE and I don't think the statue is as bad as people are saying. I've seen worse for more money.

5 download codes is a little overkill though. This pre-order DLC is getting way out of hand.

This is "Forza 6". Like... come on... Forza 6. This is Microsoft wanting $$$. Not providing anything in return for it except a skin and a couple reprogrammed sounds. Listen to all the marketing terms in that video. It is so elaborately "sold" in that video. Oooooo... they even hid an "Easter Egg" on the side... come on...

All jokes aside, how you get 2? I thought there was a limit of one per person?

That's how my first one (back during release) showed up and SE's customer service fucked me over by promising me a replacement box and never sending one after months of promising it'll be sent (even though many others got theirs). I ended up trading that damaged copy + some cash for a brand new copy to someone who just wanted the CE game/contents. Thought it was a good deal since eBay prices at the time were crazy.

My copy form this wave arrived in decent shape... not perfect but I'm happy with it.

Are there any CE specific codes inside the Batman game case? I want to sell the game since I got both a vanilla and the CE. But I already opened my vanilla so I'm going to try to craigslist the CE game. But I don't want to give codes away if there's some in there

Same for me. I actually emailed CS and complained. I stated that every other retailer had these available for people who pre ordered today except Walmart. I pointed out that the listing stating pickup on Tues 6/23. My shipping says delivery to store by 6/23. I also pointed out that the UPS tracking stated that it JUST shipped out on 6/23. No way it was getting to the store.

At first they told me to call the store for more info. I politely responded back telling them that I was not calling the store. My issue was with Walmart.com, not my local Walmart. Didn't order from them, ordered from Walmart.com and I was taking it up to them. I mentioned again how I could have purchased at any other retailer and had my product as promised. It was not a manufacturing delay, just Walmart dropping the ball. I told then I would never purchase a new release from them again.

Next email that came in had a 20% discount for the LE. so 80 bucks or so. Not bad. So anyone in this same boat, give it a try.

Depends on which console, I think - the XB1 only has New 52 & Harley Quinn Pack - both sealed inside the game case. I believe all four of the PS4 DLCs are also inside the case - but those may also be inside the regular version.

It's for PS4. I preordered the vanilla so I have any and all codes that came with that. But I don't know if there's anything extra in the CE case.

lol I thought mine were bad. Mine looked like it was pre-damaged before shipping. I'm guessing they're returned.

I sent the cancellation request not 10 minutes after the order went through. And it actually shipped a day after their reply. I just don't think they wanted to cancel it.

I'm glad though, because the order I tried to cancel had the mostly pristine copy.

My arkham knight LE came today (PS4) and I'm really getting tired of Amazon haphazardly packing things but that's a rant for a different thread.

I haven't opened it yet but can anyone tell me what the noise is rattling around inside the box? Also, since these aren't sealed and they didn't even safety seal/sticker the slip to the product box I would be a little hesitant buying one down the road since it'd be easy to buy it, remove contents, and then return it.

 
It's probably just the statue. It should be okay, the only thing that is sealed is the game. The only problem I had was with the comic being bent.

Did it arrive in a box with an orange sticker on it and initially ship to you from MN? If so... Amazon never touched it. Sent straight from the factory.

That should be the steelbook. The art book, comic book, and steelbook are all in a space that fits the largest item (the art book). The rest is free to slide around.

It came from Amazon. It was in an amazon shipping box. Manufacturers will ship items on pallets in the manufacturer shipping box (i.e. one with "Don't sell before "X" date") and amazon will just throw that in one of their branded boxes.

Just opened mine, also from Amazon, it's the piece that is supposed to come off and covers the on/off switch for the in base lights. You just put the piece back in its hole, held in by magnet. Must have been jarred loose during shipping.
