It's sad to see companies milking high price collector edition. The backpack looks like a $20 bag.
 
Yeah, I was a little bummed with the Batman LE packaging. The slip had no tape, so it had a tear on one part near a bottom corner. The box itself underneath was not taped, but the tabs were strong enough the keep it firmly closed. The styrofoam inside of that, though, was not taped, and storing the art book, comic and steelbook the way they did was dumb. The comic is bent in several places, and the artbook cover is getting beat up by the snug fitting in the styrofoam when it's removed and put back in place...I don't get why they couldn't pull an Arkham Origins and store all the stuff above the statue in the box...putting those three items in a side pocket was just dumb...

Very disappointed with this release...the statue is cool, but the actual Batman figure on it could have benefitted from some more color. I get it's supposed to be a statue, but there's something just off about it. I didn't fiddle with it much, but it seems the buildings were held on by magnets...can they be rearranged?

Percentage wise, he is right. If 30,000 units were produced and there are 7 billion people in the world only 0.000004% of people have them. That's damn small.

I think only the back right one is, and that's because that's where the switch is to turn on the light on display is.

Don't think I'm sharing any industry secrets here, but you know you can just ask them to print you a "replacement" code right? I did that since I lost out on my pre-order at GS because they cancelled my Batmobile edition. Got my code and my deposit back and walked out the door with my LE coming in from Amazon.

In unrelated fallout 4 matters . I took some pictures of the Pip Boy at E3 it does not look that bad once that you see it live. (unlike the batman AK limited edition statue)

it still does not look impressive. the only reason i ordered is hoping bestbuy cancels my order, so i can get compensated for $50

 
As someone who spent his college career earning a degree in film, the presence of a Spike Lee Joint makes me NOT want to buy the new NBA. The man is a racist hack who hasn't had anything worthwhile to say since Do The Right Thing (and even that film has its problems; specifically Mookie breaking character [IMO] by throwing a trash can through Sal's window).

Not that I was planning to buy the new NBA game anyways, as I don't care for sports titles...but still...that does nothing to entice me otherwise, even as a cinephile.

I totally agree with you other than Malcolm X which is a masterpiece, Get on the Bus, He got Game, When the Levees broke, and If God is Willing and they Creek Don't Rise. Other than those, he hasn't done anything. On the internet, everyone has a degree in film.

I'm still hoping they'll have dialog trees in there so you can have more options, Mass Effect style.Llet's be honest, has there been good writing in any Bethesda game?

And I was mostly referring to getting a preorder in the hopes of getting it cancelled for a coupon. Just as bad as scalping imo.

Yes actually! Morrowind has amazing writing. The game play, specifically the battling leaves a lot to be desired but from an RPGer standpoint it's a damn near perfect game. Bethesda has gone down hill badly since Oblivion IMO. Skyrim was little more than an action RPG and I really question people when they say they've spent 200+ hours in the game. (No seriously what do you even do?)

I'm indifferent about Fallout 4 though. A lot of people were scared Fallout 3 was going to be Oblivion with guns and it was. That doesn't mean it was bad though. Anyone that expected the complexities of the older cRPGs that were Fallout 1/2 are always going to be disappointed. They flat-out don't make games like that anymore on consoles. (if they ever did)

Fallout 4 CE looks cool but I really doubt it's going to sellout come release.

 
They are definitely making more of these as we speak. Every place that originally sold out has put preorders back up. It's far enough out wher I'm sure they could produce another wave or two. Overall good things for consumers.

Well in reality, Scalpers won't lose but this could come back and bite Bethesda or retailers in the ass. Scalpers can just do a simple thing called cancel their orders. I'm sure there were also few collectors out there who wanted this only cause Bethesda originally stated that it would be very limited and will also cancel. Bethesda will get tons of cancellations prior to launch due to them overproducing and many of them will probably end up selling at clearance prices at a loss if they don't be careful.
 
Wow they told me that a bestbuy 40 min away from me has 31 batman LEs. Can't have it shipped to the store near me though since it's not instock online. Anyone know how long watch dogs LE took to get restocked at BB once it sold out? I'll just wait for the batman LE to get restocked if it actually would be.
 
Still undecided on the Pipboy, I have both the PS4 and XB1 versions ordered. I prefer playing on PS4, but would enjoy the mods on XB1. I realize they said they're working on getting mods on other consoles, but it might be awhile before that even happens.
