I ordered a Collector's Edition from them a while ago and cancelled about two weeks before release no problem. Their customer service as a whole just seems either like you have good transactions or terrible ones. Both of the CE's I got from them (Type-0 and KH 2.5) came in perfect condition, but you are not alone in having terrible experiences with them. It seems like one of those cases where different employees = completely different experiences.

Supposedly, they switched from Digital River to someone or something else, and it doesn't seem to have gotten much better. This is the second incident I have had over there, and I have only ordered from the new store three times. The last time, I was overcharged and it took forever to sort out.

Also, I have spoken to two different reps. One named 'Angel', and the other who refuses to identify him or herself through E-mail.

They switched to Pepitastore. It's been that way since at least the Type-0 HD Collector's though, they shipped out both the products I've purchased. I got connected to someone named Raymond when I emailed [email protected] and he resolved it for me in that email. I'm sorry you've been having bad experiences with them though. I would also try [email protected] because they had listed it in the past for the KH CE. Good luck. Hopefully it'll get sorted out quicker then last time.

Go contact your bank about doing a chargeback to Peptia if they refuse to refund your money. If you have proof that you refused delivery and Peptia has it, that is all that your bank should need to start the chargeback.

 
So I was told that the Xbox one version was $10 cheaper because they weren't including the DLC code for it in the box (like the PS4 and PC versions) but if you purchased the cards and code at the same time, it'd wash out and only charge you the $10-- I didn't see that working online, so just paid for the cards (stupid shipping!!).  Here's to hoping I can bring them in-store later and work it out?

Interesting. I noticed that originally it had a price of $29.99 crossed out next to the $19.99 one I ordered. I assumed it was for Xbox One even though the listing didn't specifically say, because that's the DL card it showed in the picture. I guess we'll see.

Out of curiosity, where did you hear that?

It looks like the xb1 edition, is actually just the cards and Gamestop is throwing in the dlc and bundling it together. That's why the Gwent set box is different in the xb1 picture, I'd guess that's the box the people got that only ordered the card packs.

Exactly. The X1 version of this is technically a GS "exclusive" - that's what I was told by GS contact (and thus my previous assertion). They also said that the PS4/PC version was NOT a GS exclusive though, which is weird because CDPR (and a senior dev there) specifically said it WAS a GS exclusive in the US.

Either way, if the code is included in this one, it is most-definitely a last minute change to what they told senior managers and such a few days ago and is also bundled by them.

Either way, if I get my box and cards and X1 dlc codes, I'm not going to be upset! (except that I had to pay shipping!!)

That would explain why the listing originally had a $29.99 price crossed out ($19.99 for card set + $9.99 DL code). At least I hope that's how it works out.

 
I can only get saver to trigger if I add $25 of actual game filler (popped in some used Vita titles).  

But I still can't actually complete checkout without hitting a generic error message.

get ready for a tough and brutal battle to get your money back. that's why I only use credit card to pay for everything except on the few places that require debit or cash only. a simple "i did not authorize this charge" would had been all it takes, now get ready for a small battle that drags over 4 to 6 weeks, complete with affidavits.

get ready for a tough and brutal battle to get your money back. that's why its always good to use credit card to pay for everything except when only debit or cash only are require. a simple "I did not authorize this charge" would had been all it takes, now get ready for a small battle complete with affidavits.

I don't know, the graphic does show "Collector's Box" as well as the guide and the tokens. The description also lists the same items.

It's a CE for a game's DLC that was done right (quickly glances at Destiny). There is a big enough difference between the :xb1: version and the :ps4: version that is worth mentioning. The :ps4: version looks to have a code slip packed in the package, whereas you should receive the :xb1: code in an email (WiS and online orders) or on the receipt (in-store purchase).

 
Got confirmation from Best Buy that the Pre-Order Tales of Zesteria DLC is apparently packaged in with the CE instead of being on a receipt/email.

The :ps4: version looks to have a code slip packed in the package, whereas you should receive the :xb1: code in an email (WiS and online orders) or on the receipt (in-store purchase).

Considering I got to trade in my original Destiny disc for $27 when I went to pick up my Taken King CE, I'm actually OK with how that was handled.
 
Did anyone not get their Dragon Quest Heroes CE from Square Enix yet?  Despite the shipping notice on Saturday (with full payment 2 weeks before that) and the fact that I paid the shipping charge ($5 or whatever, it wasn't free) it still isn't here going on six days.  What, did they send it by train or something?
