I can't think of many CEs that come in actual 'metal' cases that are substantial in size. I think only GTA IV SE is the only one I can think of off-hand, so I wasn't expecting anything like that myself.

The mouse actually looks pretty nice. Really like how the box art for the mouse and headset both look like Vault Tech is the brand.

It looks neat, but not $70 neat. The same for the headset, which is $115. The Siberia v3 PRISM is only $90 on Steelseries' site right now, so I'd take that over the Fallout 4 one, but I'm fine with my TB x11s still.

I wish there were more mousepad options. None of those REALLY grabs me, and my current pad is a tad old and dirty. Thing is, the bland one on Steelseries' site is only $10 right now, not sure those are worth an extra $15. For the same $25, you can get that crazy XXL version that's the size of a small city.

I'm also pretty sure Bethesda knows they can get more sales on the Pipboy Edition by making both Pipboy and steelbook exclusive to one edition. I'm just curious though. If you wanted the steelbook so badly. Why not just buy the Pipboy Edition and sell the Pipboy lol. The Pipboy itself is currently going for more than the msrp cost of the entire package. Even if you want to just sell it for cheaper say $80 or $90. You're still getting the full game plus steelbook for roughly $40 (and that's if you didn't buy the Pipboy with Bestbuy GCU, in which case you can knock another $25 off your cost)

I'm going to wait and see the Pipboy myself. If I don't like it I'll sell the Pipboy and stand and keep the game, steelbook, and hard case. I basically did this with MGS when u didn't like the hand. Sold the hand and box for $70 and kept the game and Steelbook.

Anyone know if the deluxe bundle will be available for order after release?

Yeah the steelbook guys are going to keep the pip boy. I'm going to keep both of mine from BB. I don't need a season pass b/c ill just buy the complete or goty version. I do want those socks though.

Is it a steelbook or a metal pak? Because steelbook guys are probably going to care about that distinction as well.

I don't know the difference, but I'll keep it either way. It is a metal case that is exclusive to this bundle, so it really doesn't matter. People seem to pay more for steelbooks, but either way it is pretty on my shelf.

I can tell you what case I am not a fan of. Whatever is on the ultimate sith edition. It doesn't line up very well. Whatever is on beyond two souls and blops is ok.

MetalPaks tend to have a hinged opening right down the center of the spine (i.e. a two-piece construction) and Steelbooks typically have a three-piece construction where the spine is its own component with hinges connecting the front and the back to the spine.

In general, MetalPaks have a far cheaper look to them.

I didn't get a chance to look at the pics myself but that is really welcome news. I looked at it when it was first announced and it definitely looked like a Metal Pak then.

I have a Steelbook edition preordered from Amazon.de, now I can cancel that.
