I think the disc will be the Destiny base game and everything else will be DLC.

I have a question about Destiny. I already have a digital copy of Destiny on PS4, and the 1st expansion. So say I was to buy this $80 CE for Taken King would it include all the stuff on 1 disc? Or would their be codes to go along with the game? Reason why I am asking is I was wondering if I would be able to get rid of the Destiny game and the 1st expansion to recoup some money since I won't need them. Or would I be better off just buying the 2nd exp, and Taken King when it comes out and having to do without the CE stuff.

The Taken King will have everything in that one package. So just sell the stuff you have now, wait one month, and buy the Taken King. Buying the 2nd exp + taken king upgrade would cost you at least $40. If you're interested in the collector's stuff then buy the Taken King CE for $80 from Gamestop. Otherwise the disc game will be $60.

Nobody knows how the new Taken King set will distribute the expansions inside. But you gotta more or less realize that everything is patched or downloaded anyways. It's most likely going to be one or two discs plus a bunch of downloaded data and no codes. You also won't be able to part out and sell any of the expansions in the Taken King set because the new content will require the previous expansions' content.

Think of it as Destiny 2.0. That's what the devs call it. Same game, new all-inclusive package.

The disc will either be destiny or destiny with all year 1 content. The taken King expansion is more then likely to be a code just like any other season pass or dlc would be packed.

I feel like it won't be announced until the Tokyo Game Show. Just seems like Square owes Japan a solid after E3, and what better way than to announce it on a motherland stage. Hoping it gets announced later on though; I'm feeling guilty after dropping so much mula on games recently.

Honestly, I'm surprised they aren't making TWO consoles, and letting people choose, haha. The console might look cooler, but I will say that the silver stands out in a room better than the dark green, and I can't help but feel this game's prepping for a possible future where Master Chief is either not around or not the only thing in the universe that matters.

I was disappointed, in a way, that Halo: TMCC put the FOTUS armor in for everyone for multiplayer. I liked being a semi-unique unicorn, but it's pretty common now. I was a snowflake, now I'm not so much of one. Sad face. Honestly, I don't REALLY care, I'm more just glad that what I used in Halo 4 is available in the game, I thought they might not do it.

If we can just make it to Black Friday, the controllers always go on sale for $35-39 at Target.  The last three years, all first party types for PS and Xbox.

Once September hits I'm basically trained to wait until Black Friday for everything gaming related.
