They're also getting a LE for the new Fatal Frame 5 as well (Project Zero). Apparently its the only way to get the physical edition. I REAAAAAAALLLLLLY hope we get both of these steelbook editions over here!!!! I'm so sick and tired of importing Nintendo CEs that I can't even play over here!

Well, that's what they're saying over there. So it seems to be the only way to get a retail copy overseas at least. Got no clue what is happening over here. Actually, has NOA even announced or shown the game on any of their directs yet? I can't recall if it was shown last year or not? Since I end up watching all the directs across the different countries, they all blend together. I ASSUME we're going to get a regular retail version over here though... but who knows because Nintendo.

I THINK it briefly showed up on one of the last NOA directs, but I think I'm confusing them now too. But no way we'll get the CE, not with the way NOA is.
 
That master chief controller looks so awesome! Also they better release that xenoblade CE here, if not it will be my first import....

I contemplated asking about the Batmobile edition again in the same email but to be honest with you I had already sent a rather pointed email to Josh and the other guy that was mentioned on Twitter about the whole Batman fiasco. Their response was that they were going to provide more information in the near future. Of course, they never issued any statement in some pathetic way to save face. I understand it's not an ideal situation that anybody enjoys discussing. However, if you're ever in a pickle, just be honest and don't run away from the issue. This whole turning their back on the Batmobile cancellation has soured me on the entire Triforce company. I hope the negative image follows them for awhile so that they learn from their mistake this time since the Inquisitor disaster apparently wasn't a quality control teaching moment in itself. So I'm hoping somebody else that has been waiting on them about the Inquisitor parts can get a status update.

That's what I'm afraid of. Almost a worse thing to be sold only at NWS than to not have a US version at all. At least with NO US version I can import and replace the disc. With NWS I either got pay eBay scalper prices, or a small fortune to travel there and wait in line for hours... the time value of $ being totally a waste there!

I cancelled my pre-order. It's clear they were already looking towards the next game and wanted to not mention the delay until the KickStarter ended on the other one. Four to six month long delays do not just sneak up on you. Very shady. Especially how they just admit they don't need it anyways. I'm hating how Kickstarter is now being used to "gauge interest" rather than to secure funding. It's taking money away from those that do need it.

I'll reconsider MN9 when it comes out. If it isn't amazing I'll hold till it drops in price significantly. Inafune had so much goodwill going for him to have squandered it so completely. I'm not bothered by a game getting delayed, it happens to the best of them - it's just how they have handled all of this.

 
I saw some gameplay footage (can't remember where) and wasn't that impressed. Not sure if I'll keep my signature edition preorder.

I think it is actually pretty telling how little gameplay video has actually been shown of this game that was due in a month.

Hey, look at Rory McIlroy. They were barely telling us ANYTHING about that game up until the game launched.

Wait, maybe that's not the best example. Or it is, indicating Might No. 9 had only 25% of a game's content, and the developers decided they weren't trying to compete with EA Sport for the Most Unfinished Game award.

As a developer, I know a four to six month delay doesn't sneak up on you or happen because of needing a bit more testing. That's usually the result of a significant design change or a severely behind schedule product. That leads me to think one of two things (or both):

1. They are way behind where they should be or they shifted resources that were supposedly paid for by Kickstarter to fund the proposal for the next game. That's very bad.

or

2. They were close to completion and the game simply wasn't coming together as a fun game. Mechanics can look great on paper, but expectations these days are much higher than when Mega Man 2 was hot and sliding or charge shot was considered a mechanic worthy of a new game.

I just watched a few minutes of gameplay footage from E3, it looks fun enough (like a highly polished MM game). I don't think the game being delayed will make it any less fun.

All I see is people bitching about a game they no longer want cause of a postponement. All of them pretty much ripped it from my hands cause of their greed/sporadic buying anyway. So yeah, I'll take it off the hands of those no longer wanting it. Plus, they still get the purchase points and $10 gift cert if added.

Mighty No. 9 has $10 rewards for preordering? I did not know that, that is definitely welcome news to me.

Still hoping people cancel at some point. I have 1 on preorder but would like to place one with gift cards so I can cancel my one with BB CC.
 
I would cancel my mighty no 9 order but since I got it during that skylander glitch I can't cancel it without screwing up the rest of the games in that order that are half off as well. So I'll just try it the week of release then trade it in.

not really, if you didnt order it when it was online it was not ripped from your hands because of peoples greeds, thats also not a good way to convince someone to help you out
