Destiny is the best game of the past 3 years, it's worth every penny. If they would just port it to my damn Vita it'd be perfect.

Example : I love steelbooks, want to buy the LE, but it's paying a premium for the vanilla + expansions which I ALREADY have. They created no option for people like me except to say F U.

It's funny that you think you need to explain things to me. As if I'm the one who doesn't get it. Older games become cheaper over time pal. People that wait one year for the GOTY version always get the more complete package for less. None of us likes it but that's just the way things work. It's the price of being a day one adopter.

 
I will never understand why some people feel the need to shit on other people buying a certain game/CE just cause they don't like it. Everyone has different likes and interests, the perceived value of CEs are also different for everyone. If you feel the need to actually shit on people just because they're buying something you don't like or feel like it's overpriced, then you really need more hobbies in your life.

Seriously though people. Destiny is a solid core game. The content and storg are shit and bungie and hactivision dropped the ball. They ARE screwing their fanbase on a weekly basis. Often saying a big fuck you.

Yes, some of us still play cause it has a hook factor with trying to unlock new gear. Its like cigarettes but almost more unhealthy, lol.

I hate extending this conversation, but i'm curious. What did you mean by this statement? I have the game and have played tons of hours but none recently.

 
I blew through my Destiny addiction from launch until early December at which point I went cold turkey on that awful shit.

Haven't looked back.

Except for that one time when I pre-ordered the expansion CE.

I own a broken Ghost Edition.

God dammit.

A lot of problems.
- Base game you had to WORK for level 30. (Which was great and fine.)
-First dlc you they dropped armor in the Raid TOO easily.
- HoW made level 34 a joke. Literally handed it to you.
- Having to wait weeks to get Hard versions of Raids.
- Cut content. Then lying about it.
- Selling us content that's on disc.
- TTK is ONCE AGAIN changing how you level up. i.e. Its XP based instead of gear. Making the gear you worked hard for useless.
- In TTK you can't level up your guns that you worked hard for. Minus exotics.
- Theyre nerfing guns that dont need nerfing.
- The balancing is non existent.
- Selling a Collector's Edition that's for newbies only. (No version that includes JUST the new dlc and physical items.)
- Selling new emotes.
- NEEDING the dlc to play nightfalls.

I'm sure if I was in the mood to get pissed right now, I could go on.

And as my last post on this subject, also one of the most hated. Has taken the place of cod these days so anyone can make an account and post hate about the game and make up stuff or blow things out of proportion on any website. Almost a year later and it keeps going. People act like destiny came in their home and murdered their family.

Good. Keep it as your last post. Here's mine. Its MY fuckin opinion on the over hyped game that was not only hugely disappointing to the majority but is consistently posted about in negative light on the developers forum. Also, this "anonymity" you speak of is shit. While its not required, the grand majority of that site uses their XBL and PSN accounts to post. So its not an anonymous post written by some angry cod kid. Its often written by regular mature people with genuine issues.

"Almost a year and it keeps going." Right there is your proof that there is some SERIOUS flaws. Whether its the game, the devs, or Activision, its all proof that changes are needed. Otherwise its going to continue to lose people.

I have nothing against the game, I like it, but I see more talk about Destiny than I do about any CEs coming out.

Does Best Buy ever ship before a release date? I have expedited shipping on the MGS CE and I was wondering if I will get a chance to play it on release day.

 
Elite member do also get free expedited shipping. I am currently an elite member and all my purchases get expedited shipping for no extra cost.

Not sure. I checked two of my open pre-orders and neither one said anything about shipping for them.

To test it, I'd try to order something and see what's listed for the Expedited shipping option and see if it lists Free or not for shipping costs. If it shows free, then your pre-order(s) made while you had Elite or Elite Plus should default to Expedited.

My problem is that they bothered with the story. I've always described it as if you went to a 2-hour movie, showed up half an hour late, and left half an hour early. It's very disjointed, with no manner of introduction of conclusion of the conflict in the "story." Basically, I'm not really there for the story, but they really should have just skipped the story, instead putting those resources into a couple more maps or something.

Still, Titanfall plays much better than Destiny. Titanfall plays like you'd expect an evolution of CoD to, but it actually surprised with how well the Titans handled. I went in expecting awkward, hulking combat like MechAssault of the Mantis in Halo, but they're quite nimble and fun. Overall, the game ended up maybe a little better than I expected. On the flip side, Destiny actually tried really hard with its campaign content, yet it was boring, and while the core gunplay is great, the rest of the game just feels incredibly lacking. The social aspects were worse than the Titanfall campaign, and the RPG elements felt tacked-on, at least in the brief time I played the game.
