I doubt this will be Juggernog numbers or PipBoy numbers, though yes, keep an eye on this thread and order when BB has it available.

For the people who ordered their MGS V console from amazon.fr the 1 day delay was due to weather conditions.

Important information about deliveries Due to current weather conditions, delivery delays are to be expected in some departments. Know that we're working with our carriers to deliver your orders as soon as possible. To keep our delivery promises, within an extra day was added to the delivery option in one working day to the relevant departments.

Of course weather just had to be bad at this time. At this point I'm just content with the console not being damaged in transit.

Don't forget BB would actually put a pre-authorization charge a couple of time before shipment. It happens every couple of days to make sure you have enough funds. It could be annoying if you pay with a debit card but making a purchase online with a debit card is very risky.

True, they do re-auth the card every so often, though I've seen them go weeks or more without doing it.

Yeah I think you are right. I still get rolling pre-authorization card on my very old orders, Halo 5 last year, but recent orders like the Cod JE has no rolling pre-authorization charge. So maybe they're changing their system with new orders.

For this situation, it's always best to use a credit card to hold a pre-order than a debit card. Or just pay it off in full with gift card or use Paypal, which deducts it up front at time of pre-order.

Mines out for delivery. Did you order the xbone version? I saw some folks complain about a delay with those in another forum.
 
Happy to hear that Konami's forgetfulness wasn't a total failure (if it wasn't Konami then their manufacturing place or whatever).  I wonder if it's gonna be an issue at any other retailer though.

Konami can still eat a dick. That company is a gigantic piece of shit and I hope they enjoy the success of MGSV, because once Kojima leaves, their company is gonna go down the toilet.

Three of the core components of their business have zero to do with making videogames.

If MGS V's incredible sales numbers don't influence them to rebuild their videogame business, then there really is no hope for Konami's continued participation in creating digital products.

Before consumers lose interest, they may be better off selling their IPs.
