Yeah, thought it was weird to not have seen it anywhere on the interwebz. Likely the closest thing we'll see to a CE though it seems.

 
I would totally get that if I wasn't undecided on which version to get or I didn't have a Juggernog preorder.

 
StarCraft 2 Legacy Of The Void now has a release date of 11/10/15, so CE orders with people having cards expiring by the end of this year on BB.com should now get fixed once the date changes.  Still showing as 12/31/15 at this point.

I received my EU version of MGSV LE today.  It comes with the game in a regular case and the SB case on the side.  The estimated delivery date was supposed to be 9/24, so I guess that estimate had a little bit of room for error factored into it (plus or minus 10 days).

You just need to create an EU PSN account. Login to your EU PSN account on your PS4 and redeem the code. Once the code is redeemed on your system, you can then typically access it even when logged in to your normal US PSN account on that device.

Same process applies to Asian/Japanese region DLC.

I've read repeatedly this isn't true. I've imported a few games with DLC and everywhere I've read says the DLC is turned off when logged into to the US account. Apparently the PS3 wasn't like this (I think I even did that myself) but all accounts I've found with PS4 says DLC is fully region locked and only accessible in that account.

Have you tried it and can say otherwise? Possibly mention which DLC you tried? I have MKX and Until Dawn DLC I'd love to redeem.

It definitely works with PS3, I've got a ton of imports for PS3 and have never had an issue there. However, I don't recall whether I've done it on PS4 or not, now that you mention it. TBH, I sell off most of the DLC codes I get since I generally oppose the whole DLC/micro-transaction trend (because I'm an old curmudgeon who is clinging to actually having ownership of my games).

 
So... I got my Steins Gate CE from Rice Digital. And, well... it's underwhelming to me. Usually, I don't bitch much about CE's, but what we got for $80 was pretty pathetic. The fact that all the goodies are not in one larger box makes it seem thrown together. 

I am sure it will be collectible because RD is sold out, and it was the only place to buy the CE, but I feel letdown.

FYI - it's doing the typical just-listed and charging for shipping thing that BBY likes to do. So get your orders in and then change shipping speed later to get it to adjust to free (for Reward Zone FS folks).

I felt the same way when I received my EU El Psy Kongroo CE a number of months ago. Probably just because it didn't all come in one larger box with some nice graphic art. Perhaps the standard edition for $40 would have sufficed. When you think about it though, it's not unlike the buyers remorse that some of us get when we buy any other collector's edition for full price and then watch the price fall it in coming months. That's just part of the deal. We know what we're getting into when we buy a game on day1. You can always sell your CE now if you're not happy with it.

In the end I'm happy to support these kind of releases so that we get more of them in the future.

Well that sucks. I was under the impression they would all be in a CE box holding it together, guess I should have read the description more closely. Mine is on the way but I am already set up for disappointment :(

Yeah at the end of the day I'm happy with mine. Now I just hope they do one for Steins;Gate Zero.

The CE and goodies came in a huge packing box and then another smaller white box, so I was expecting something more dynamic. All at once, I suffered surprise and disappointment. I went and hugged my Uncharted 2 Fortune Hunter to feel better. :baby:

Fwiw, my UK psn account can use Destiny's The Dark Below dlc from my US account without any problems.

Well I got my copy today and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. The game itself still has the larger LE box with the artbook and the other included small box includes everything else I'm assuming. So it's only two pieces then? Got the PS3 version since I figured I would get the US Vita version off Amazon.

The funny thing is, I'd gladly pay double price for double the content. Both games for $60 and I'd have made a purchase. Just the sequel for $30 is no sale.

 
Question:

I ordered the Deus Ex CE from BB and used a $10 gift card, but it wasn't calculated on my order total. Is that normal?

On the order page it shows the gift card, but it never applied to the total price. But it did on the checkout/place order page

REALISTICALLY, both games, IF remastered, should be $40-$50, but $60 for both games, remastered, and ALL DLC, maybe, sure. I probably wouldn't get it immediately as there's WAY TOO MANY games out now and coming out. I'm struggling with Gears and MGSV right now. And I JUST got TTK. All gaming life turns to shit Oct 27 with Halo 5, the Tomb Raider and Fallout 4.

It would have been cool to toss in a Steam code for the first game. Just crank up the resolution, squint a little, and bam... "remaster" complete!

I've only seen that happen when you try to pay for a giftcard with a giftcard. Does pre-ordering Deus Ex come with a giftcard preorder bonus? If so, that would cause this to happen. Stupidly, it effectively tosses out your gift card balance.

If you cancel your order, the giftcard balance should be restored after not too long. You can use this page to check your balance.
