I saw the pic above with the single cartridge in Japanese, but I've heard two games and I've heard three games. I've seen two different pre-order slips at Target, so I cautiously assume two.

For the Mega Man CE, is the only difference the Amiibo? GS.com's description doesn't even mention the Amiibo at all (but it's in the pic), but if that is the only difference for an extra $20 I'll probably wait and get the cheap-o version.

Seems like a bit of a mixed bag. I'm of course wanting to get them via GCU, but Best Buy's stupid website won't let me use my credit card with an expiration date at the end of 2016. GRRRR. Best Buy doesn't even have two of them yet either, but it's the same deal for both TLZ:TP and Fire Emblem... no pre-orders for you!!

My other credit card I could use is at home. Hopefully they don't sell out in the next two hours.

 
Why sell Fire Emblem once when we can give it the Pokemon treatment and people will buy it twice!

Yeah, I am still buying it because Fire Emblem rocks.  But I don't have to like the merchandising.  And what happened to Fire Emblem Fates being two games?

 
All of these new Nintendo game announcements and amiibos are a mixed bag.   Sure they are kind of cool.  But it should also be a big wake up call to us as consumers, the way the company perceives us.  You can only get by on good will and nostalgia for so long; selling us amiibos that are exclusive to bundled remakes.

It's still two games and a digital add on. The Special Edition just combined everything into one cart that gives you a lot of value if you're planning to get both games anyway since you get the digital add-on and the extra goodies with the Special Edition.

Really wish the Legacy Collection could have atleast included Megaman 7. If it included 8 it'd be a no hesitation buy for me, thats one of my favorite Megaman games.

It's 3 games in the LE. They sell Birthright and Conquest as different sides of a story and separate games. If you buy one for $40, you get the other digitally for $20. Then, Revelations is a later release with another story perspective. This gets you all 3 stories for $80, where as separate purchases of the two physically would have been $80 alone ($60 if you get the second digitally). Then, you get the case and book. It's actually a pretty nice deal, considering they did that OR/AS release where the dual pack for the two $40 games was $80, LOL.

I love amiibos. and yet, 2015 has been the Year of Plastic for Nintendo. Let's start seeing some good TV console games because they have been sorely lacking since Mariokart and SSB.

I liked the concept of amiibo, but they've been a colossal disappointment. MP10 took a great series and continued the gutting and awkwardness, putting out a weird main mode and a weird amiibo mode. Had they been put together, it would have been all good (mini-games every turn, independent movement). Rather than making amiibo freely be like they are in Smash and Tennis (capable of A.I. and gameplay support), they're just $13 pieces of plastic acting as glorified TF2 hats. $13 gets you skins in some games (still salty I can't be Charizard Yoshi in Woolly World). I also wish Mario Tennis had been paired with a release of Mario Golf, and Pokken Tournament is going to be a giant letdown if the rumor of a tiny roster (10 or so) comes to pass.

I'm usually just "get what you like, go for it," but I have to poop all over this party a little. Are people SERIOUSLY still throwing money at Gearbox for this crap? First, it's all fun and games with Borderlands. Then, BL2 has them release a Season Pass that doesn't even include all of the DLC (the holiday stuff was a separate purchase). Then, they don't put The Pre-Sequel on the new consoles. Then, they manage to double-dip that stuff hardcore parkour with The Handsome Collection, where they just didn't bother to put the first game in, saying "if you guys want it, maybe we'll let you buy it later." Now, they're re-re-releasing the games with a SECOND $400 bundle? SERIOUSLY?! GG, Gearbox, you made me dislike Bethesda's merchandising SLIGHTLY less. You're the EA of non-sports games.
