It’s not a CE, but I’ve been waiting for the game A Way Out to drop in price from $29.99 and it never did and suddenly it’s been going out of stock on all major retailers and apparently has been discontinued and 3rd party sellers have a,ready started jacking up their prices to double retail.

So just a heads up, if anyone wants a copy, especially for PS4, the only site that has them right now is GameStop. So grab it while you can if it was on your wish list.

Interesting, I ended up buying it on xbox live cuz I had some credit a couple months back

Darksiders 3 Apocalypse Edition is CE of the year. God of War would be my 2nd place. The Spider-Man one was very underwhelming to me (even though the game is amazing).

Over the next few days I'll be working on a new thread. 2019 is fire and I've got some time. Also  fuck windows update, I had the structure all set and my PC restarted. 

 
Question sorry if this is common knowledge but my BB GCU is still active if I buy something with it but the game doesn't drop till say OCT after its expired i still get the price locked in at time of sale right as long as I don't make any changes to order?

Yep! Anything you pre-order while GCU is active will keep the discount. Also, a week before it expires, you get a 25% off code that stacks with the 20% GCU.

 
My A Way Out came from Gamestop resealed LOL.

I ordered it a couple days ago and got it today so it likely shipped from a local store, and they took it off the shelf.

I so fucking hate this company.

I had to change my shipping address and billing address on all my orders I made when I had GCU and it didn't affect the pricing even though my GCU had run out.
 
As reported on CAG Twitter, World of Warcraft: CE is $70 at Newegg.  Still too much for what comes with it.  Was better last time with Mouse Pad and Art Book.

Have you considered downgrading to Win 7 or 8.1? I got a new PC tower and the first thing I did was nuke the HD and get Win10 off of it.

Older versions of Windows are not supported by newer processors. You miss out on a lot of security updates even if 7 is still technically supported for another year.

I installed Win 8.1. So many of the latest ‘security updates’ are just fluff. Win 8.1 will be supported for many years to come.

By newer processors, do you mean the absolutely latest 8 core ones? I have an i7700 currently in mine, 2017 model.

Which is just a stupid marketing tactic to force people to have Windows 10 which in itself is quite the worst OS I have ever seen.

I know with Windows 7 it pops up a warning in windows that the CPU is not supported. Gen 7 and above I think are the ones that do not allow the updates. So, the 7700 would be included in that. I've heard there are ways to trick windows into still updating, but still not officially supported. The PC still runs, but you miss out on updates.

10 works pretty good most of the time. There are more issues running 10 on older PCs that got the free upgrade. I've seen many older Intel motherboards get wrong NIC drivers and kill the network connection and more issues pop up with newer updates. These are PCs pushing 7-10 years old though. 10 is pretty stable on new pcs though. Windows will mess up no matter what though.

On the topic of A Way Out, it has co-op and there is a free trial that a friend can download to play the game with you. One person just needs to own it. The free ride player will not get achievements/trophies though.

I do own both Win7 and Win8.1. I prefer the latter as it's much more efficient in memory management. I simply do not trust Win10 knowing they are tracking every keystroke, or admit to treating consumers as guinea pigs with updates.

I looked into the tracking link and it pointed to a page on your microsoft account. It pretty much saves bing searches which are not 10 exclusive. I use 10 a lot and the only thing it had on me is my morning ms rewards bing searching. It seems more of a way to login anywhere and keep your progress thing than anything malicious. MS does not seem any worse than google or any other tech company. It's the price you pay for being online these days. Go to pen and paper if you don't want to be tracked.

 
Since I haven't seen any other pictures posted, here are a few of the UK set.  It comes in a really nice, sturdy cardboard folding box with a glossy finish.  It's kind of like a deluxe shoebox but even thicker and more rigid. I wasn't sure that I wanted to keep this order but now that it was delivered today and I have it in-hand, I am very glad that I did.  It is a perfect collector's edition keepsake.  My only gripe is again, of course, the ratings logos.  :p

I'm not sure what you're looking at but mine definitely came with the game...

Also, kinda sad the KH3 Pro isn't coming with the LE of the game but I ordered one anyway. These guys are really killing me with limited edition systems but basic versions of games included.

The US SE version of smash comes with a steelbook only and no normal case I think they mean.

 
Amazon UK has smash Bros Ultimate Switch bundle, says it won't ship to us but I was able to order. $335 after shipping costs and USD conversion.

They also have the smash pro controller, costs me $70 shipped if added to the order.

Edit: just to follow up, looks like it shows up £250 in cart instead of £300

Haven't tried anything else but all switch consoles seem to have incorrect discount. Mk8 bundle at £280 comes to £233 in cart, so $313 USD shipped.
 
Somebody else please check this out, because maybe I'm being an idiot (and sorry to fill the collector's edition post with all this). Rdr2 pro bundle says £350, in check out it says £292

If you read the reviews for the LE, people were upset that they didn't get steelbooks. That's how this listing happened. When I bought mine there was nothing on the listing indicating that a steelbook would be included. But then this morning I received an e-mail stating that they will send out orders of the steelbook to those affected if you click the link and order.

Most of them do. The ones like Zavvi, that don't, lists the export price as pre-VAT. It's BS, but what are you going to do about it?

Woah woah woah, is the email required to get the steelbook free? I got the LE last night but haven't received any emails about it. Would love to get the steel for free.
