Well, Best Buy just fuck me over.

The God of War Ce pre-order I've had since they day they went up.  First it got delayed 10 days after release.  Expressed my concerns considering it was limited that things might fall through and the order wouldn't be fullfilled and didn't want to be strung along, but was assured it would be in my hands by then.  It's 10 days later and I wake up today to a email that oh my order been delayed to the 29th of may in other words I'll never get it. :headache:

Things have really gone down hill fast with Best Buy for me and I mean fast, like a 6 month time period.  It's not just this I've had numerous pre-orders delayed for no good reason, damaged shipments, screwed up refunds.  The pain in the ass jumping through all these extra hoops, just to fix their stupid simple mistakes that shouldn't happen to begin with.  I've had more issues with them these past 6 months and my entire time previously dealing with them.  I think they're no longer going to be my go to retailer anymore.

I walked into bestbuy on release day and bought a stone mason, they guy had to grab it from the back and accidentally brought me the collectors first. You probably have your preorder dlc code already, it is still available. Do site to store at this point.

I’m curious about this, too. No stock popped up anywhere near me and MS Store online says shipping 5/4. I wonder if the initial shipment got delayed.
 
I put an order in with VG+ because I procrastinated ordering at Gamestop for so long. It came out to like $72.50 shipped, which isn't bad. I love this damn controller, so I'm excited to get this new version of it.

They authorized my card last week like they always do the week before shipment. Unfortunately, I haven't received shipping confirmation today.

 
I won't hijack this thread but don't have time to waste on ebay to see if anyone wants these things. I remember that but that 25% off coupon they sent was kinda nice, which I used to get 5 CAGs get Rez HD at a discount (since they were charging $40 + $13 shipping or some nonsense)... except they screwed that order up and only sent me 1 copy of the game so I had to deal with them again. It was all fixed in the end but yeah, their CS is horrible.

I'll say this though, their end products are usually pretty high quality stuff. As much as their CS sucks, the items I've ordered from them have always been top notch (ignoring the obvious fuck ups like the Rez HD upside down cover), which is more than what I can say from Fangamer or similar stores.

Yeah, they are unbelievably bad. I bought and attempted to cancel Rez months in advance with all requests totally ignored. I wouldn't even do business with them as a dev unless I was desperate.

 
Yeah the upside down Rez cover with the 'lol it's manga style' coverup was fucking ridiculous, after how terrible the first cover they printed was.

Owlboy sounds interesting, gonna have to watch for that

There were a couple million dollar plus CEs iirc. I think for Dying Light and Saints Row 4 each had CEs worth over a million. Those only barely count tho, but technically cost more.

 
Just have to say God of War does not disappoint.  Even with the voice change I dreaded.  I do so much exploring, then jump into a story piece and get blown away.  I wont spoil anything for you guys though....

If I not mistaken, some racing game had like a $2 million CE? And it came with a racecar? Project Cars 2 I think had a couple hundred dollar one that came with like VIP passes to their events or something.

I assume you've never shipped a gift to someone on Amazon. It charges the destination tax. So ours is arguably a lot more advanced.
