Been waiting for a LE PS4 Pro and pretty disappointed it's KH. RE2 or The Last of US 2 on the other hand and I'd be all over it.

Same here, I have no interest in KH... but the system is still nice looking so I might try for one. I wish I hadn't slept on the MH LE, even though I don't play MH.

Not really. 6,000 units of each of the Playstation 4 and Switch CE version worldwide, plus the standard edition. Even assuming the US only received 1/3 of that, it's a lot for a really niche game that can be purchased for next to nothing digitally and already has a much cheaper standard physical that is available now.

 
And the extras on the collector's edition aren't even that nice.

Not bad, but I don't need any more huge ass CEs taking up mad space, hopefully the deluxe edition includes everything but the figure, I'll buy that. If it follows the trend of every other LE fighter this gen I'm best off waiting a few months for it to plummet in price, but I know I can't do that...

AC Odyssey Gold edition has prime discount too. Maybe error as they don't typically prime discount collectors type editions
 
Lol, at least that PVC figure isn’t fighting gravity like the Tekken 7 one. Already seen videos of that statue where Kazuya is lower than Heihachi.
 
Question to anyone that pre-ordered the fallout 76 powered armor edition online, did you get your money back already? Cause this says the money will temporarily be taken out and then put back in until it gets closer to launch to make sure you have the funds for it.

When am I charged?
When you place your pre-order we’ll authorize your form of payment with your bank, which results in a temporary authorization hold. After a few business days, the hold should be automatically released and the funds returned to your account. Shortly before release day as your order begins final processing for shipment or store pickup, we’ll reauthorize your form of payment, resulting in another hold. Once your order ships or becomes ready for store pickup we’ll then collect payment.

I've never pre-ordered online before and the charge is still pending in my bank account which says it's supposed to go back to me after a few days.

It can sometimes take 72 hours for a pre-authorization to fall off of your debit/credit card. Even longer if the hold would fall off on a Saturday or Sunday. This blows my mind since all banking is done electronically now.

For me it seems to depend on the bank issuing the credit card. I have one credit card where Best Buy authorizations fall off in 3 to 5 business days but another credit card where it seems to take 7 to 10 business days for the preauthorization to fall off.

 
Not necessarily a CE, but the Xenoblade 2 expansion is getting a physical release. Unsure on price or if the season pass is included with it.[attachment=30366:fJKDjMs.jpg]

After getting yet another alert from nowinstock this morning, I jack-hammered my way through Best Buy's ordering process and was able to successfully complete an order for the Spider-Man CE.  I think I hit "add to cart" like 50 times before it did it without saying "no longer available".

As far as AC:Odyssey goes, it seems that the Spartan edition may be a reasonable deal. As best as I can tell looking at all the digital and physical editions, the base game is $60, deluxe pack another $20, and season pass is another $40. There's a digital version with all of that included, the ultimate edition for $120 (though on best buy it does have $10 back).

If you want physical, it seems the best is the gold steelbook for $110 (eligible for $10 back as well as GCU) and then adding on the deluxe content digitally for $20?

The Spartan edition seems to include all of the digital stuff plus physical bonuses for $160, so it seems like it's around $50 extra for the statue, map, soundtrack, and steelbook. Plus I suppose shipping and tax? Haven't ordered from Ubi in a while and I forget what they charge.
