Yep, it's cool, but it's not that cool. I'm surprised to see everyone going nuts over it tbh. I'll keep my $291 star wars Pro from Target tyvm. This $500 would be better spent on your PS5 in (likely) two years, or building your PC. I'm sure most of the people here are just flipping it though; why else would everyone suddenly care about buying a Pro.

Why are people able to make reviews for something they haven't received yet? Why are people able to make reviews for something they haven't even purchased? Ridiculously dumb.

 
I was refreshing on the app when it went live but never got an Add to Cart button. The listing went from Coming Soon to Out of Stock.

I was trying to get it because I wanted to upgrade to a Pro and the 2TB Hard Drive was hard to resist. But not too hard, as I ain't paying over retail for it - so guess I will wait until another 2TB Pro system comes around.

Glad it came and left, it was a shit show anyway. I only wanted it because I haven't upgraded to a pro yet not a big deal, I have cooler shit anyway. :whistle2:

I actually thought it wouldn't be as much of a shitshow as it was, with 50,000 being produced. I thought it would be similar to amiibo when they were hot, or the NES and SNES Classics at release - which were hard to get, but not nearly impossible. I can see I was totally wrong about that now!

How are you guys getting this to show up in the Target app?  I clicked a previous link someone posted for the web site but when I search in the app, this item doesn't even show up.

Been waiting for info on this as well. Love the design, and prefer a more matte-like finish. Decided against the 500 million LE after watching multiple unboxing videos and noticing how easily it collected fingerprints.

Keep in mind that 50k is global; there was probably only around 20k for North America in that. That's only a few thousand per retailer nationally.

I wanted one but it was kinda meh compared to the 20th Anniversary PS4. It reminds me more of the gold Taco Bell PS4s.

Looks copper, and glossy = scratches (even tiny micro ones). I'm not disagreeing with the fact that it looks cool, but to sell out in 10 seconds cool? Eh. If Sony didn't number it and say how many they were releasing it would have still been in stock for sale. People see LE and numbers and lose their mind.

I honestly think the Days of Play console was the best-looking one so far, but for some reason they decided not to make it a Pro.

 
Been trying for weeks to get the Spider-Man CE on BBY. When it has popped up, I typically get it added to cart but then get the yellow, no-longer-available for shipping notice, followed by the red out-of-stock notice. For those who have had success, do you just keep pressing the yellow checkout button and hope for the best? Any other tips?

And is it worthwhile to leave it in the cart after getting the out-of-stock notice, or do I need to start all over again from the product page?

One word “limited” as others have said before people eat this stuff up if there is a fixed/limited number being produced. Never been into it myself as I get what I like but to each his own.

Not that I know of, you have to manually check the filter Item Sold by Walmart. I tried this days before all their console listing and somehow Spiderman CE passed all the filters...smh
