Anyone know how one could ensure you get the Uncharted 4 coin with your BB pre-order without cancelling and re-ordering?

Can customer service even update your order like that or no?

It makes me wonder why they cut the figurine at all - it's not like they're significantly saving on shipping/packaging with the giant (softcover!) artbook...

I swore everyone was saying it's a hardcover. Now I can't find any definitive proof.

I only ordered cause it sounds like it'll be the hardcover version of the Bravely Default 2013-2015 artbook, which I already have... Maybe I'll cancel.

Cancel and reorder. Your certs will come back, it may take a day or two though. Preordering and cancelling is also a way to keep your certs from expiring.

Received mine today in a small bubble mailer. Needless to say all of the corners are soft or dented on the slipcover. I'm am considering returning it.

I ordered three copies of the game, 1 Deluxe and 2 regular as gifts, all in the same order. They shipped the Deluxe separate from the regular copies. Makes zero fucking sense. Still waiting for it to show up though so I will let you know what condition mine came in.

My Far Cry Primal: Deluxe Edition came in a box, with bubble packets, and the two regular copies came in a bubble mailer in pristine condition lol.

The slipcover has some minor marks but nothing terrible to warrant a return or exchange. My Mega Man Legacy Collector's Edition however was boxed in a box that was too small and came partially smashed. Luckily my buddy ordered one was well and said if his in perfect shape, he will just swap me since he throws those boxes away anyways.

My store is particularly good about not slapping those on CEs. For Bravely Default mine was in a plastic bag and the sticker was put on the bag. Either way, a sticker is easier to deal with (hairdryer) than irreversible damage from shipping.

That's nice they put it in a bag for you. My store never does that. I've actually had great luck with Best Buy shipping. That will probably end now lol.

Hair dryer for 45 seconds/minute will help activate the glue and make it easier to peel off. I've done this on countless amiibo perfectly. Just be patient with peeling it off.

 
I was first one of 5-10 to order on best buys ebay page, first copy came today in almost perfect condition.   I was expecting a envelope of death but they learned finally.

Yeah my store doesn't do it either. They usually put my game in a plastic cube and then put the sticker on the cube. Or they use a smaller sticker to attach the big label on. It's rare that I've had the big label just stuck on directly.

Goo gone works as well. These boxes or manuals with gloss finishes won't be damaged if you dab a drop on a cloth and apply it on the adhesive and wipe it off with a wet cloth immediately (don't try to get all the adhesive in one pass or let it sit). Just gotta stay away from the edges where the actual unprotected cardboard is exposed.

I even do this on NES and SNES cart labels with no fear.

You really don't even need to heat it up though. Those stickers are brand new and haven't been on there for more than a day. They come off easily on their own if you go slow.

Got my Mega Man CE today as well. It too was crammed into a box it had no business trying to fit in. Nice and smashed.

Definitely returning it and reordering until they get it fucking right.

My Mega Man CE from Best Buy came in a medium sized box with about 10 air packets for protection. It arrived flawlessly. Kind of sucks how there is no consistency with how BB sends these types of things. I've been getting lucky lately though - almost everything larger than a normal game case has been getting put into a box.

My fe se from Best Buy was shipped from flipadelphia. It came in a box with amble air cushions. I wonder if the shipping warehouse makes a difference
 
At least we don't have to worry about limited quantities of the Mirror's Edge CE.  

And I'm not gonna lie... I'm sorta excited about that Bravely Default / Bravely Second art book.

Since the box apparently is going to be much bigger than the original BD CE, maybe this time around Amazon will use two bubble mailers to ship it. One on each end!

Mine's preordered from BB, so I'm just hoping the contents aren't damaged. Pristine box would be phenomenal, though. But since it looks like it's not going to sell out, I could just as easily return it for an undamaged copy. I'll be in Afghanistan until July, so as long as it's sorted by the time I get back, I'm fine with it.

Mine was properly packed in a box when shipped out, though my Persona 4 Dancing All Night Disco Fever edition was packed in an oversized bubble mailer and was dinged up a bit in shipment. :bomb:

 
Got my Fire Emblem Special Edition off the best buy ebay train (don't kill me!) and my Mega Man Legacy Collection 3DS Collector's Edition from Best Buy's site. It was raining horribly yesterday and I was worried the packages would be so soaked, they'd ruin the games. My packages weren't soaked at all! And were packed surprisingly well

Gonna agree on Best Buy consistency. My parents ordered some Batman PS4s using my account and we got huge boxes with no padding, while I ordered DKC Returns 3D and got a ruined bag, but there was loads of padding for these. Liking the games and their extras though!

Got a little excited last night when I got a package delivered notification from UPS and it was in a big bubble mailer that looked to be the size of the Fire Emblem Fates SE...turned out to be my P4DAN Disco Fever hah. Maybe today is the day.
