FYI, my cousin ordered from Bestbuy for in home delivery, his was just shipped. And yes he did get the email last night about the delay and was all pissed off.
 
My BB order has went into to preparing and they charged my card, hopefully it is not shipped in a bubble mailer. Finally took them long enough.  :D/

Picked up my FE Special Edition from Best Buy. It was in pretty good condition. Corners were a little fringed.

Be careful while opening that thing, though. It is somewhat poorly designed and very easy to dent/crease. And the sticker seals are somewhat stressful to remove.

none, no one on CAG actually plays games. people will just be extra salty they didn't get to jump in on making money selling it or having a box to stick on their shelves, unnoticed until the aliens from x-files arrive and only take humans with SEALED fates SE boxes to the planet Xenu

 
I cancelled my FE SE a month ago from Best Buy and the wife just informed me it showed up at the house this morning. I just double checked my order and it still shows as cancelled but I was billed. I guess someone in my area will be lucky since she just returned at the local best buy for a refund.

 
I guess I should consider myself lucky that my out in the boonies Walmart had regular copies at midnight(and the worker actually went in the back and grabbed 1 for me). Didn't know it was possible to be sad buying a game tho... Thanks NoA. Wish I would of took a chance on that Amazon 2-3 weeks order.  :-({|=

this was crazy.    i was on best buy and was checking the LE version for bravely second, and somehow it went from in store pick up only (out of stock) to being available for shipping during my transaction.   

i lucked out and got 1 copy for myself to ship home, with GCU.     it was humbling to get such luck!!  

 
Really hope I get my ship to home order from best buy soon and not March 14. From here on out, I'll be doing store pick up when available.

Edit: my credit card also got charged so there might be some hope after all

I was charged and status changed to preparing to ship. I e-mailed and complained yesterday and followed up today with chat and they worked it out for me, said they will overnight it.

I just had to many other games ordered and although I have a 2 3ds xl's Ijust dont play them enough to justify another purchase like that, especially when Im not a huge fan of the Strategy style RPGs. I originally ordered it with the intention of just keeping for collector purposes but Im starting to get a little overwhelmed with all of my stuff.

 
I was able to get 25 bucks off of an order that may never happen. Can't decide whether having my order resubmitted with expedited shipping hurt my chances or helped.

 
Same here with FE. My card has been charged and status changed from Processing to Preparing. Keeping my fingers crossed I'll get it tomorrow.
 
My online eBay order just shipped and is expected to arrive Monday. This is exciting and depressing because I missed the initial pre-order wave and waited but I know several people who got screwed.

Yeah, I called and asked why a 4 month old preorder was back ordered. Guy was nice enough to take 45 off which had to accommodate expedited shipping and a late delivery discount. The hypothetical total is like 40 bucks or something now, if it ever actually ships.
