I got the same cancellation from Amazon France about this cancellation. The US gets screwed again on never getting another great CE as we always seem to get the inferior version compared to Europe or Japan.

 
I don't see myself buying the NX if it is region locked after this. Nintendo can just run themselves into the ground like SEGA at this point. Kids don't even play Nintendo like that this day and age. They're all playing angry birds and COD

Yeah, I usually don't let reviews assuage me but the IGN review calling out all the cliche things makes me think I don't need it considering I have plenty of FF games I have on the PSVita that I haven't played.

Yeah, I went ahead and canceled my Bravely Second CE preorder on Amazon. I could make better use of that $56+tax.

 
I'd have to agree, blinknot4, it looks like the Splinter Cell CE all over again with the Paladin.

Though, it does at least have a steelbook.

 
I wish more companies would just release steelbook editions for a little more than the regular edition instead of locking them behind $150 CEs with a bunch of other junk.

In the same shipping box or did they insert the game inside the cardboard box (form fitting) of the statue?

I ordered both a PS4 and X1 version and got two form fitting cardboard boxes which hold the statues inside a large amazon box but no loose games.

Edit: Nevermind, they are packaged inside the brown box the statue is inside. Not sure why some people got $30 credits though, did they run out of games?

Really? I can think of a few betas I've played that I liked less:

Black Ops 3 (which is probably the worst beta I've played)

Siege (because I found people with mics in Homefront, but not in Siege)

Battleborn (felt like a drunken mess version of TF2)

Project Spark (not a creator, so it didn't interest me)

Then you have betas that I got into where I didn't even think them worth playing, like Gears Ultimate and Fable Legends.

Wow, didn't realize they were chancing so much. I thought the changes to XCX were kinda unnecessary but understandable, but these just seem stupid.

 
Got my Mega Man Legacy from Amazon, it was just the statue. The statue's box came inside two boxes. The Amazon shipping box, and then inside was a generic brown box from Capcom I guess, and then was the statue's box with the designs and stuff on it. There wasn't room to fit a game, it was very snug. If Amazon shipped any orders out with the game, no doubt it came outside the box the statue was in and most likely placed on top inside Amazon's shipping box.

Strange on how there's no game, but a little shame on the box being generic. Oh well.

My game came inside the generic brown box the statue was inside of not seperate the bigger amazon box. There was a piece of styrofoam with a cutout that that game fit inside of and that was tucked inside on top of the mega man statue box. It was very snug.

Mine came in an amazon shipping box, that had a brown box inside with indications it was from capcom. That particular box was form fitting to the statue product box with about a half inch of space available on the top where Amazon must have inserted a layer of foam with the middle cut out just large enough to insert the game. This is how both my PS4/X1 came.

 
Then I'm guessing the orders that gave out gift cards and said it wouldn't ship with the game might have been from fulfillment centers that only had the statues and not the games, and some had both. Otherwise, it makes no sense to ship some orders without the game and others with it.

Just opened my statue. I got the same box with the same styrofoam cutout. But the styrofoam port was empty since I received an e-mail a few days ago saying that my purchase would not come with a game and I'd be getting a $30 gift card instead. So yep, was charged the full amount which came out to $111.xx (one 20% discount) and only received the statue plus a credit.

After getting that super cheap laptop + XB1 deal today as well this was somewhat....anticlimactic.
