Free that was supposed to be given but not due to Amazon fucking up and not even acknowledging it =/= Company slightly misprinting in an art book, instantly acknowledging it, and offering compensation right off the bat

Too many leeches just try to ignore their posts, some good information pops up in this thread from time to time. But I agree it does suck having to get a whiff of the entitlement bunch, you know the people heckling Amazon over the worthless costume DLC are probably bernie sanders supporters.

I am still debating the Overwatch CE. If it would have been a more dynamic statue or even of a different character I would be more easily swayed. All I really want is the artbook, Blizzard CEs always come with quality books and I would hate to miss out on this one.

If anyone is getting the CE and doesn't care for the book all that much let me know!

That's the only reason I wanted it, box looks cool but who collects boxes? Thing is the CE is still up for grabs on Amazon and Gamestop. Doesn't seem like a real game seller considering how weak the contents are in comparison to the price. At least show what the artbook or soundtrack looks like. Doubt anyone will be selling it and seeing success any higher than the original price. Meaning people will probably sell the stuff inside at decent prices come launch day.

I'm expecting to win a bid on the art book around $40 max.

 
Has Overwatch CE in store pickup been available yet at BB?  It's showing unavailable right now - would prefer store pickup over shipping; hopefully it will be in better shape than shipping to home address.

I don't get why they didn't make the figure Tracer. She seems to basically have become the mascot for it.

I LITERALLY would have preferred any other figure rather than him. Some more than others, but he was dead last on my list of characters I wanted to have a statue of. For a game with such a variety of different characters I just don't understand why they chose him -- he could easily blend in with any number of other figures and you likely wouldn't get the "oh, he's from Overwatch" response.

 
Fun fact: Soldier 76 was around before Overwatch was even made, he made his first official appearance in July 2004 as part of a comics anthology called Digital Webbing Presents #16.

She became the popular one after the CE was shown though. I dont recall any real mention of her back when this was originally unveiled.

Course that stupid bitch bad parent made tracer popular by complaining that her young daughter shouldnt see tracer do some victory butt dance when she wins and blizzard removed it instead of saying "Dont like it? Then be a parent and dont let your kid watch things you find objectionable". Anyone having trouble cancelling preorders on Bestbuy website before? Decided to cancel Doom CE preorder since it's now obvious this thing is overproduced and will be discounted eventually. But when submitting the cancellation, it'll say pending cancellation for a few minutes then go back to regular preorder status. I've tried 4 times since last night.

A while back the Call of Duty Ghosts: Prestige Edition included a code for a digital soundtrack. You would redeem it on Activision's website. The code didnt work at launch, and last I checked a year after launch, the code never worked and Activision just ignored it. This is a massive franchise: COD.

 
I won't be making the mistake of pre-ordering a Guilty Gear CE again after paying full price for the last one. It dropped to like $20-40 multiple times.

I had that issue yesterday with the deal of the day stuff. Ended up getting doubles of a couple of things shipped. I'll just return them

Pick up Xrd cheap for the story mode (the visual novel part), Revelator will have a continuation of it. Guilty Gear's story is pretty entertaining (imo).

 
My store got some Juggs in today. Random stores are getting one for each system if anyone is still looking for one.
