Is that actually a UK/ EU version? Blizzard's own website doesnt show a steelbook for the US CE, and those postcard things they show (+steelbook) are only showing in the EU version. I wonder if they have two region's CE's mixed up.

Best Buy now has a Doom UAC bundle up, similar to what the EU is getting.  It includes the season pass and a DIFFERENT steelbook than the one in the CE (according to Best Buy support forum), and is Best Buy exclusive.  Homefront: The Revolution has something like this= Best Buy exclusive version that includes a unique steelbook not available in other version.  Kind of annoying if you're a collector of those (I'm not).

Don't know if anyone else saw this yet, but I just got an email from Best Buy saying that I didn't have the Gold Sigil Coin with my LE pre-order and they added it to my order free of charge.

After all the crap Amazon gave people with the free DLC for Bravely Second CE and not being eligible, this right here is why if I had to choose between BBY and Amazon, will go with BBY 100% of the time.

You can see the Teen ESRB rating though, so this is NA.
 
Yeah, good call.  I didn't realize it until now but there are two different Doom steelbooks.  Their backgrounds are similar, but the UAC set has the hero on the front and the CE steelbook has the minion.

I cancelled that CE since I believe the price will tank on it in a couple months.

The UAC bundle is a better deal hands down.  The statue doesn't justify being more expensive because chances are, it will be a cheap piece of plastic garbage lol.

Also, I never got my Overwatch Beta codes after I preordered.  Messaged Gaming-BBY via the forums and got 3 within 3 minutes.

I never got my PS4 beta code from BBY either. Luckily I was able to grab a PC key from someone here but still would have liked to have tried it through my controller considering I pre-ordered the PS4 edition. I have a pretty strong feeling I'll end up with both PC and PS4 copies of the game around launch though.  I absolutely love the game so far but I worry I won't be able to play it as well or as comfortably on a controller.

Also side note: I just noticed the OVW CE now includes a collectible plate? Not too sure what that means but I wanted it so I cancelled my CE pre-order (prior to the plate being added) and re-ordered it now! Since these things aren't going to sell out I figured what the hell. Still I notice the CE says nothing about the $10 cert but the base game does. Either way I'm pretty happy with the edition. Would prefer and extra $10 back though.

 
Head's up:

Best Buy is adding the coin bonus to orders that were placed before the coin was available. Before this, Best Buy admins said you needed to re-order to get the coin. Apparently not now, and they fixed it.

So those who didn't re-order, check your emails orders, the coin is probably in your order now.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Uncharted 4 CE?

 
The coin situation isn't looking good for in-store orders. My store only got 13 for 30+ preorders and all of them were already jacked by employees before they could even be set aside. :wall:

Damn, I hope I get one when I go to pick up my game. I was gonna create a new order and change the coin to shipping but it looks like they aren't offering it anymore when you add it to your cart.

Coin was also added to my existing order. Didn't really care if I got one so never bothered to cancel and re order when it became a thing but good job Best Buy for adding it for me.

I really want the Overwatch CE, I like the statue and the extras look cool. Blizzard always makes high quality CE's, even if it's nothing revolutionary. Essentially $93 after GCU and $10 pre order reward certificate, it seems like a fair price. Especially with all these $200 and $250 price gouging CEs lately that honestly don't look that much better (to me) than this.

Yup, going to be a mess. I pre-ordered yesterday when the coin was still showing as a free item but didn't get added to my cart. I sent a mod a message about it. Took some screenshots but I am sure I am SOL.. We'll see. My own fault for waiting so long.

Hmm, Blizzard's website for the Overwatch CE, as well as NA retailers dont show a steelbook or postcards for NA. I would be careful preordering the NA CE expecting those items.

I have a preorder in regardless, so I'm hoping the video is correct.

I really like this CE... the steelbook looks great and the concept of the statue is really nice (again, goes back to what I said about wishing for more statues that were more than just some guy/girl). But $140 (or $100 over, after Prime discount) is a lot.

I'd get it if it included all the dlc for fallout on a disc. Not sure I'd buy it just for one dlc pack. If nothing else I'll buy the eventual goty edition when it drops in price some.
 
Well what do you know right out of the blue I just got an email from an Arun of TriForce asking for my current address.... 18 months later will this giant clusterfuck finally be settled?
