Currently have 7 pre-orders. 1 CE at BB & Amazon, 2 Kings at Amazon UK, 2 Kings at Amazon DE, 1 CE at Gamestop. Good looking out. I'll be holding unto these until early January where I can 100% guarantee I won't be cancelled on. I'm not messing around here, Ni No Kuni is my jam. Only plan on keeping 2 of these, CE of PC and Kings for PS4. 

 
Haven't read all the posts but if it says they can't ship to the US, how are people getting around that for the NNK2 CE?

Got all the LRG stuff I wanted today. 

Got the NNK2 King's Edition on Amazon UK. 

Got the NNK2 King's Ediiton on BBY. 

About to cancel NNK2 King's Edition on Amazon and save $40. 

 
Don't cancel your Amazon NNK2's yet guys. You have until January, just wait. You never know what can happen. Accidental Best Buy cancellations, etc.

I'm pretty stoked about the Sonic Mania CE too. I wasn't expecting the statue to be any bigger than my hand.

I like doing that with CEs I get from BBY now and mark the "item price is too high option". I know it's meaningless, but it makes me feel like I'm really sticking it to them for not cutting the price by 20%. I'm fucking paying you $100 a year for Prime... you don't need anymore of my money.

Also, is BBY seriously not limiting NNK2 CE to 1 per person? Seems dumb...

Depends on what you might have for a reason to buy more than one, of course.

 
Just change payment on the Amazon order to a expired or cancelled card.

Works great on old cards that were voluntarily and pre-emptively deactivated and replaced by a bank because of security breach or something because they aren't expired and still look legit until they try to charge.

AKA stop deleting old cards from retailers.

That will keep the order reserved and give you 24-48 hours to update payment when it's declined.  That gives you time to make sure you have yours in your hands and know it's not damaged or sold out on release day before you cancel it so you still have a last resort up to the last possible second without it even hitting your account.

Also protects you from yourself when you forget to cancel duplicates.

Wow, I have never had so many preorders in for a game lol!  I was one of the people that got burned on the first CE, so I guess I'm paranoid.  I even got an order in for the UK version.  It is going to be a tough choice between the UK version or best buy.  I have a store pick up for my best buy order locked in.  So I'm pretty much guaranteed a pristine box minus a big red sticker.  But the UK version's music box is amazing.  And both work out to be pretty much the exact cost.

Just watched that video of the Sonic Mania CE. That Sonic is much bigger than I expected. Doesn't look very solid but still nice. Glad I grabbed a PS4 CE for cheap on Amazon when I could.

And the chance of mine being signed is cool.

Personally limits just make people order 1 from multiple places just look at all the diff orders people have right now

Currently have NNK2 pre-orders at BamCo, Amazon, and BestBuy. After being screwed over on the BotW Master's Edition, I'm trying to keep as many placeholders as possible to make sure I actually get one. Crazy that pre-orders are a gamble for things like these.

This is the third time I've had this happen. First time was with the Mafia 3 DotD. Second with a external hdd. First time, I tried 3 different payment types, all cancelled with the error it couldn't verify the info - oddly with paypal it even took the money, but couldn't verify? wtf

With Mafia 3 I actually got hit with an over limit for a game flag, even tho no order made it thru.

This time I didn't risk it, and I just called. Was able to place the order and it seems to be sticking. Hopefully they get back to me on why this happens this time :(

25k is a lot of CE for a niche game. It will be sold out across all retailers until it releases because people will hold preorders on 3-4 sites, but it'll be available for anyone that wants it around release.
 
Ordered from Best Buy as well. I screwed up my first order and canceled it and redid it in a seconder order (used the wrong card). Do you know how long I have to wait to receive my $5 certificate that I used from my first order?

Trying calling them. I had the same issue, and the rep got the order to stick. Plus if you try too many times, like I did with Mafia 3, you can get hit with the "over the 3 game limit" flag. Even tho no order sticks.

I have never had luck switching payments types on my end when it does this.

Edit - My bad thought you meant best buy ! Best of luck with the Amazon order :(

My fault, I misunderstood :( Since I was having the exact same issue with bb lol. I blame lack of sleep from getting up early for LRG :) I hope you get an order in tho :(

Mine was wrapped in bubble wrap all the way around, arrived in perfect condition. Strange different practices from distribution center. Mine came from TN if that matters

 
Thought I might have been too late but got an order in. Great stuff. Now do I buy more to be a dirty flipper?

It's not bad, but definitely not new... or something that they should have charged me $9 shipping for.:whistle2:/

just got nnk 2 from amazon uk it say that it does not ship to usa but it went through. will they ship it because i also have the us version on order and dont know if i should cancel it. also might the bank reject the payment when they try taking it.

For $9.99 shipping, they did a pretty crappy job. It was in a cardboard box, but a really flat one. No packaging inside, no bubbles, no shrink wrap, no styrofoam, nada. So you can complete your order, and then it gets cancelled? If that's the case, it's prob your bank/CC company putting a freeze on your account thinking your cards been compromised. You can call you bank/CC and let them know.

If you can't make the order then it might mean Amazon UK decided to stop international orders.

Mine also came like that but another CAG said theirs came bubble wrapped in a box.:whistle2:/
