If you ordered the Yakuza Kiwami steelbook from Walmart when it was 22.19, be prepared. Mine came in a very small Tyvek bag with no bubble wrap, beat to hell. Would have thought they'd at least put it in a bubble mailer.

There will definitely be at least a small restock on destiny 2 ce at bestbuy. My ps4 order is about to be cancelled because they cant update the payment info, something to do with the beta code already being sent. System wont allow it. Spent over a hour trying. Im pretty sure all orders will have this problem.

It's because Best Buy has a $20 value assigned to the beta and once they sent it, they can't cancel the order. It's their mistake for doing it that way, so they need to fix it. Sucks if they can't, though they should be able to update payment info.

If they can't, call BB corporate at 612-291-1000 and ask to speak with executive customer relations. Those higher-level reps can usually fix issues the rank and file idiots can't.

The beta code is definitely the issue. They tried everything. I might be able to apply the payment change in store. Going to try in a few hours. Im going to call that number now, thanks. The elite hotline was very helpful.
 
So to be clear, is the only thing different between the Destiny 2 LE and CE the bag and everything in it and the bigger box?  If so, I'm really not digging the fact that all that iffy (to me) stuff costs an additional $150.

Mine came packed the same way. I was really pissed and expected the worst. Then when I opened the package the steelbook was pristine with no damage. Think I just got insanely lucky though because it was packed the worst of any order I think I've ever made online.
 
I have a weird question but why all the hype for the Destiny 2 CE? Doesn't seem like anything in there justifies a $250 price tag. The messenger bag looks cool but that with a laptop sleeve, paracord, solar blanket, and USB just doesn't seem like anywhere near $250 even at $190 when you minus the game price. Just wanted to see some CAGs opinions on this.

It doesn't have much to do with the CE itself. It's that Destiny players are megafans of the game. Destiny has an enormous cult following. People who don't play it don't understand just how into the game these people are.

 
The Destiny 2 box does look nice but I definitely can't justify $250 for some stuff that I can't display like a statue and stuff I'll never use. On another note, that Street Fighter 2 SNES cartridge from iambit sold out pretty fast.

As a big destiny fan I think it's a cool different CE. Yea $250 is a little high for what it is, but the whole solar power thing is unique and assuming it works good is a cool feature. I wish the bag looked a little different, but I get what they are going for. I'm hoping we do get a nice statue in the next CE.

That is lucky. Walmart is making me return the damaged one before they ship a replacement. Plus my AMZ one is lost. USPS has been awaiting item since the 26th. I ordered at two retailers hoping to get at least one pristine copy. Might just go to Best Buy.

 
Just a head sup, the PS4 Pro Destiny 2 Bundle doesnt come with Destiny 2 LE, it comes with Destiny 2, Expansion, and Emotes.  Wish I would have ordered the Gamestop LE Destiny 2 since I cancelled my CE's x.x

When in doubt, just go with Best Buy. They sent my Yakuza Kiwami steelbook in a well protected box. Granted, they also sometimes ship steelbooks in bubble mailers but in this case they didn't, and more often than not they use boxes for abnormally sized and non standard games. I even once received a regular Vita game in a box from them.

So they have the map, Gamestop has the keychain and Best Buy has $40 off with GCU....

 
Is a map or keychain worth $40?? i say no thanks, rather get $40 bucks off. That keychain and map aren't gonna sell $more than $40 on ebay.

Apparently I ordered the Destiny 2 GS LE...makes me feel better I guess. Also traded my Xbox and PS4 toward the D2 LE Pro. Had to make my GF a GS pro account tho -.-

No way this sold out, they must have just pulled it, and put up the "Sold Out" banner. LOL

If they sold 5500 of these at that price, I'm in the wrong line of work, as I didn't think they would go through that amount over years, let alone days. I couldn't have been more wrong on that one. I guess more people than I thought wanted to burn their homes down. LOL
