Just got an email from Fangamer saying they're going to start shipping the first wave of Undertale CE starting tomorrow.

Edit: oh and email also includes a code for the Undertale dynamic theme

It looks like the disc is housed inside the steelbook to me based on the picture whereas other regions may be getting a Switch sized one. I feel like I need both so I preordered the Japanese one too
 
PSA for anyone who got the Fallout 4 goty edition, it is NOT all on disc. Despite other current gen games being on one disc (Witcher 3 complete and MGS v definitive) Bethesda decided to give us the base game disc + a season pass code.

I bought the Pip-boy version and will most likely be returning it, can't justify that price for a 2 year old game with no on disc patches or on disc dlc + the shitty business practice by Bethesda. Especially since ALL other Fallouts/Elder Scrolls goty versions came on disc (or a 2nd disc with dlc on it)
 
I assume you are talking about the PS4 version since the the Xbox version is apparently all on the disc.

Do you have a source for the xbox being on disc (not trying to soubd like a jerk, I'm legitly curious) ? I heard about the dlc code from multiple ppl on the PS4 subreddit, but was not aware of there being a difference between versions. If this is true I'm wondering if Microsoft pulled some strings...

There have been other instances of a GOTY / extended edition being on disc for XBO and NOT for PS4. the examples that come to mind are Dead Island Definitive Edition and Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition.

Not sure about Fallout 4, but it seems plausible. I wonder if it has to do with the architecture of the respective consoles. XBO remember, was originally made to install all games 100%, so wonder if its a Microsoft requirement the entire game be on disc?

Edit: Gamestop does not have a used listing for either the XBO or PS4 Fallout 4 GOTY version, seemingly hinting that both have DLC codes, not on-disc content.

IIRC PS4 requires a separate launcher be developed for compilations of multiple games on a single disc. That's why Dead Island had the second game as a code only. Same with CoD IW LE. Xbox can apparently handle multiple games on one disc with less developer effort so that's why they get more content on disc.

Obviuosly, this reasoning doesn't explain the FO4 GOTY situation though

Anyone who receives their Metroid LE from Amazon.de open the game? I don't have a EU 3DS so planning to sell the game, but it feels a lot heftier than normal 3DS games I'm used to.

I'm curious if that's the usual weight or if there are more extras inside the game case since all the listed extras are in the box already.

It probably won't add until closer to the ship date. At least that's how it's been with my last few BB orders. In fact, the Destiny 2 premium got added after my CE had already shipped and the order was technically closed out.

 
I got my Divinity Original Sin 2 CE today. Nice quality all around :)

The steelbook is separate from the game. There's a retail copy of the game inside the box.

Speaking of which, the steelbook is really nice. The sticker for the "cartridge" is nice quality and has a certain feel to it. They even have the "screw" in the back of it.

Really glad I managed to get one. Already put the morph ball on with my car keys.
 
So are the Elex CE and Biomutant CE exclusive to Amazon?  I'm not seeing either listed at Gamestop or Best Buy and Elex is supposed to some out in about 3 weeks.

Also, Best Buy now has a preorder bonus listed for the Ni No Kuni 2 CE - some kind of pin - but the game is currently sold out for preorder.  I'm assuming the bonus should be added to existing orders that were made before the bonus was offered.

 
So best buy shipped my last two regular edition games in boxes.... Forza 7 Ultimate came early, in a bubble mailer. Steelbook crushed on one side. Yay!! Good thing I didn't open it, but they need to get their shit together.

 
Are there any other preorder bonuses for Mario Odyssey in the US other than the coin at Best Buy? And is the coin confirmed to be exclusive to Best Buy?

I posted that awhile back. Not saying you reposting it is a bad thing because I forgot about it. I really want it, but converting to USD is $65, which would be fine because that's pretty much MSRP with no GCU/Prime. Buuuuuutt, you'd have to use a mail forwarding service, and that's around another $15-20. So $80-85. Ehhh I dunno, but REALLY want that cap!!!

Got my Metroid Legacy CE two days ago, should be getting my SNES today from Target. Will be canceling Mithril Edition for PS4. I hate bronze looking statues of anything.

Just a future heads up for ppl who see the "does not ship to US" on Amazon UK. You should still try to place the order, the worst they can do is cancel it and not take your money.

My SNES classic just shipped yesterday from Derbyshire, should be here in 2 weeks (I live in Ohio).
 
Damn, I just watched the Shadow of War unboxing video also. I'm cancelling also. That is not a statue worth $200 in my opinion. Highly upsetting.

Are you suggesting that Gamestop had an exclusive that used cheap throw-ins to net them extra profit for a jacked up collector's edition?

There's just no way. I can't believe Gamestop or the manufacturer would ever do such a thing.

 
The SNES I thought was coming today ended up being the Divinity: Original Sin 2 CE. Packaged in a tight box, all the way from EU. Held up pretty well, no corner dents. Statue looks nice but I'm a big fan of the two books.
