I don't know how else to do it other than when chrome pops up asking if I want the website translated. It's worked on every website for me except the Amazon sites. This is on both my MacBook and my PC at work.

Glad it works so well for you.

Yeah, it's been hit and miss for me over the years as well. Some times there is an extension that may need to be added or updated. Or the browser just may need to be uninstalled and re-installed for the translation feature to work properly.

 
Playstation Gear Store has a preorder up for an exclusive edition of The Art of God of War. $79.99. Comes out June 30, 2018 (though that might be a placeholder date).

Kind of off topic but received my first First 4 Figures statue today (Tanooki Mario) and damn, this has definitely turned me off from these cheap ass statues we get in majority of these video game CEs. Going to definitely slow down on buying these CEs now with statues and buy more statues like this.

Yeah, they are pretty good. I've sold several of their pieces over the years for a friend of mine, and I always found the quality to be top notch. The prices are a little on the high side though, as most of their gaming related pieces can be rather "basic" in details.

My last personal buy from them was the Star Fox one, and it was very nice as well, but I ended up selling due to financial issues at the time. And while I thought it was a great piece, once again, price was an issue overall for me personally.

Yeah, some prices seem pretty high. I really want that Bowser statue they are releasing which is giant, but damn, $700. Any other sites that sell Nintendo related statues like these?
 
On another note, if you missed out on the Retro City Rampage Switch CE, Vblank will be putting up remaining copies that were “held back” Monday 11/20 at 12pm ET.

It just depends on the characters, and who it is company wise. Gamestop had a Star Fox statue awhile back, but the reviews said the quality was terrible. "N" themselves used to offer some decent items at Club N, but that is long gone. Japan and EU may offer statues on their sites, but NoA is ass and then some, so nothing to be had here.

First4Figures seems to be best currently, as they have some type of Licensing deal, but Think Geek has a lot of "N" merch, so maybe check there to. Import places might also be a good place to try, as I'm sure Japan has tons of great items across many price ranges.

The only time I bought from F4F my statue arrived broken and they asked me to pay the return shipping to Japan for a refund minus the shipping they initially charged me (they didn't even offer me an exchange). I don't remember what the cost was, but I remember it was obscenely high (I was in high school at the time and couldn't afford it). So now I'm stuck with a decapitated F4F Fierce Deity Link in my closet.

Oh hell no, that's unacceptable. I hate places that try to charge return cost for their screw ups. I would have gotten my CC company involved in a situation like that, as hopefully they could have worked something out. But who knows? I would definitely black listed them after something like that, no question.

 
imo the F4F policies are very customer unfriendly and have turned me off from buying from them but a lot of their figures are impressive. That $700 Bowser is epic.

Unfortunately, I was in high school at the time and didn't understand the intricacies of eCommerce. This was also 2006, when eCommerce was still a weird mess. I wish I'd taken the time to have more follow-through, though, as the FDL statue is worth thousands now (and it was originally $130).

I feel your pain, as we all live and learn. I was lucky back in high school, as that was when I first started ordering bootleg music disc from the backs of trade papers. I would send funds to Italy, and then wait to get my product sent. Amazingly I never got burned, but it easily could have happened.

 
With Project Octopath going up for preorder on Amazon, I would expect a CE announcement soon. But as it is a Square title, it will be a SE store exclusive, come with a "Project Octopath Juicer" and be $450 (We are only making 5,000!).

Truth is the hype is building for this game, so it will prolly sell out VERY quickly.

Have you played the demo? The hype isn't unwarranted for an RPG fan.


I've been waiting for this since playing Bravely Default.

I didn't expect this game until mid to late 2018, so I hope the amazon preorder is a sign that it'll be sooner than that. The demo was excellent, so this is one SE store exclusive that I will very likely jump on, depending on content, of course.

 
Target cancelled my $60 XC2 SE due to “lack of availability”. Not surprised but they could at least admit they fucked up with the price

One of my is still opened so looks like they are going to honor a certain amount of order. No clue on what their process is on what order to honor or not.

I hope that's still up in a week and a half. I don't have a record player, but it catches my eye!

I just grabbed the mafia 3 CE for $30 and the astro a50s for $225 no tax/free shipping on newegg. that's enough spending for me today.

 
I got my Zelda  Explorer Edition from Amazon and its CRUSHED from a yellow mailer no padding. NOw I gotta waste time returning it. Same shit happened to me Fire Emblem Switch CE.

Amazon has gotten worse. They used to just ship half of the stuff in a bubble mailer and half in a box, now it's 100% of the time if it fits in any of their sized bubble mailers. Every single thing I have ordered from Amazon in the last year that wasn't a big box has come in bubble mailer.

My SNES Classic came in a bubble mailer, my Fire Emblem Echoes came in a bubble mailer, etc. They seriously give no F's anymore. I really don't order from them for video games anymore unless it's an exclusive or some price error that's way better than competitors. They FUBAR'd Prime for games and their packaging sucks. Amazon for video games just isn't that good anymore.

 
Well, my Axiom Verge order arrived a few days back, and was actually in a box(as I ordered two copies). So imagine my surprise when both where slightly crushed, when the shipping box was fine.

So I did a replacement, and since it's the holidays, they notified me ASAP, and said "sorry", and not to bother sending them back, and a new order is on the way. Well that order arrived yesterday in a bubble mailer, and those two copies are in better condition than the ones shipped in the box. Go figure uh? LOL

I've all but just given up on them at this point, as I'm just going to keep the best copy I got, and return the other one. As I pretty much got 2 copies for free. So even though it's slightly damaged, i'll take that along with a free any day of the week.

Yup, they've embraced the big-box/corporation mentality to the extreme and really ruined what made it pleasant to shop there in the past. I don't bother with them anymore, especially with GCU and Best Buy's overall better shipping practices. Pretty dramatic swing in the last few years actually.
