Bear in mind, Costco is similiar to Sam's Club in that you need to purchase a membership in order to make purchases there.
doesn't GTA come out tomarrow?
I was disappointed to find out that Costco isn't carrying GTA4 either in the stores or online.

Any free one day memberships coming up for the Memorial Day weekend. I seem to recall holiday weekends having such promotions.
Any free one day memberships coming up for the Memorial Day weekend. I seem to recall holiday weekends having such promotions.
I think it depends on each store individually. We had that type of day a couple months ago, free breakfast for non-members and the ability to shop. it was on a saturday and was advertised via a mass mailing. our store was the only one in town doing it that day though...

you could call your local store and ask, i'm sure they planned it pretty far in advance (despite not letting the staff know until the last minute!)...

does anyone know if Costco will be getting Wii Fit next week? Their website says May 28th, but the real release date is the 19th.
does anyone know if Costco will be getting Wii Fit next week? Their website says May 28th, but the real release date is the 19th.
It shows up as 'on order'... so yeah, we're getting it, and i would assume that some of the stores probably already have theirs. it's selling for $79.99.

a couple new things...

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for PS3 is on instant rebate for $44.99 until 5/25/08. That's $15 off.

The ongoing Nintendo DS game assortment has some new titles... all are item # 113747, and all still sell for $15.99.

New Titles:
- Touchmaster DS
- Pogo Island
- Namco Museum DS
- Horsez
- Shrek the Third
- Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
- Lego Star Wars II
- That's So Raven: Psychic something
- Dora the Explorer Saves a Mermaid or something
- Bleach
- Glory Days 2
- Meet the Robinsons

I picked up Namco Museum for the Pac Man VS action. I bought Touchmaster at launch and I love it. It's a DS version of those games they have on the counter at bars. Solitaire, Basketball, puzzle games, etc. it's like 25 games. It's not pretty, but its a lot of fun. and you can upload your scores to an online leaderboard... which was fun, initially... it's not really worth your time though unless you're a badass who wants bragging rights i guess. anyway, TOUCHMASTER. GO. BUY. NOW.

Still waiting for Costco B&M to carry 360 Elites or for the website to change its online bundle w/o Halo 3.

BTW, does anyone no why some of the console bundles have free shipping and others don't?
does anyone know if Costco will be getting Wii Fit next week? Their website says May 28th, but the real release date is the 19th.
WiiFit will be in Costco stores tomorrow. We got our shipment, but it's marked with a street date of May 21. seems like this is the case with several retailers.

The $10.99 Wii and DS assortment sale is back... http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=186038

Oh, and... MOD... you might want to clean up the home page. A lot of those deals are DOA.

- The Mario and Sonic Olympics deal...

- Both that PS3 bundle and the PSP bundle are 'deleted' meaning there are no restocks and the bundles are now YMMV.

- In the thread, just a few entries back, I posted new permanent prices for several of those DS games, are you smarter than a 5th grader, pet hospital or whatever, etc.

- Those $19.99 Xbox 360 games are deleted and on return, meaning if any were left, they should have been returned to the distributor by now. I guess they are YMMV, if your local Costco really doesn't have their stuff together...

- a lot of the rebates listed are log since expired.

thanks!

Does anybody know if Costco is carrying Ninja Gaiden II in there stores? I saw it online for $52.99 and wanted to know if they have it for the same price in there store?

Guitar Hero On Tour for the DS is priced at $43.6x... Six bucks off...

and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for the PS3 is on rebate this week for $29.99 (i think... its $5 off anyway), through the 29th.

man, i always forget to write down the item numbers!

Store says online only item.

In store or not, just buy it from Amazon for $55 with no tax for most, unless you are planning to abuse Costco's return policy.

Anyone know what's going on with the PS3s? I haven't seen any at either of the two costcos that I go to in the last month or so, since just after the R&C bundle ended.

And now, there's not even a single PS3 bundle entry on their website

I saw GT5 today for 24.99 - $10 off $34.99
- Both that PS3 bundle and the PSP bundle are 'deleted' meaning there are no restocks and the bundles are now YMMV.
My costco had tons of the daxter psp bundles, at least 15, maybe more
I saw GT5 today for 24.99 - $10 off $34.99
Yeah i saw GT5 also for $24.99, normally $34.99 - $10 MIR, i was tempted to get it, but i will wait as the sale is good till July 8th.

When I went in to Costco today, there was an employee doing some retagging with lower prices. The only things I remember being remotely significant on his list were Dragon Quest Swords and the Lost game for 360 both being marked down to $35.97

pretty sure the rest were Disney DS games and the like.

Item 314324 - Big Beach Sports for the Wii comes out Tuesday and is priced at $25.99. I'm shocked that it was given a street date. Now you can live out your bocce ball dreams virtually.

I'm sure this will be a hot seller *cough*...

EDIT

Apparently, Larry David loved it.

In case anybody cares, Costco has Guitar Hero: Aerosmith bundles - at least the 360 ones, didn't look at the prices for the others - for $84.79, which isn't bad.

Anyone know when Costco is going to pricedrop their Xbox 360 bundle as well to match the price drop of everywhere else?? The two stores I called said the price hasn't changed for them.

They were incorrect; they either didn't want to check, or they didn't update their signs accordingly, but it was dropped down to $349.97 today.

Thanks for the info, my local Costco finally got these back in stock on Tuesday night, and I was able to buy a bundle. The sign still said 399.xx, but when I checked out they rang it up correctly at 349.xx, thanks for your response.

New Wii Bundle is available... It's a Wii, Wii Play, Smash Bros. Brawl, extra Nunchuck and a freaking corded GameCube controller! All for $369.99. Not a bad deal, but it's $20 more than the old bundle, just for the GC controller.

Westside Albuquerque still had 24 when I left around 1pm today... FYI.

Also, most of the front page is outta date...

And those dumb Nerf WiiSports plastic snap on parts are on coupon as of August 8th, I think it's 5 bucks off and they now come in several different colors. So that's $24.99 for worthless plastic junks if you're interested.

Has anyone seen Soul Calibur IV at Costco yet? I see that it's $53.99 at their site online, and was wondering if it's made it out to the stores.

I'm interested in the 360 version, but I'm sure if they received the PS3 ones they'll have the 360 games, too.

Yes, both versions are available in store.

Nice, thanks! Looks like I'll be stopping by my local store tonight. :)

Two new titles finally popped up in the $15.99 Wii Budget Assortment... 'Game Party' and 'Thrillville'.

In the $15.99 DS Assortment they added 'The Simpsons', 'Thrillville', some Spongebob game and some Hannah Montana game. Did I already mention 'Touchmaster' was in there? That game is totally worth $15.99.
so what does a membership to costco cost? they just built one near my town.
$50 a year for two 'Gold Star' (ie. regular) cards or $100 a year for two 'Executive' memberships, earning you 2% cash back on most purchases. If you plan on spending more than $200 a month, spring for the executive. Right now they have a deal where if you do not make an extra $50 at the end of the year, they will pay you the difference.

EDIT

True, some deals are regional. Good call chicagoz.

Some of those membership deals might be regional. Might be a good idea to check in with your local Costco just to be sure.

What is the Deal with the Daxter PSP for $239.99? They have two displays and they haven't moved any it looks like at my costco. Been there for months.

Also can't figure out the PS3 40gb bundle at $499.99. Have a bunch of those as well for months.

I keep checking in hopes of a sale, but nothing. :(

Thats a Sony deal... I don't know why they don't update their stock. We've had the Darth Vader PSPs FOREVER, and they just there. The PS3's sell out pretty often. i forget the price point, but we just got some in yesterday.

Tonight, at Costco, found Peggle DS for 15.99. All copies of Peggle had a red price sticker on them for that price. There was no signage.

The price appeared when the cashier rang it up, so the 15.99 was in the system at this store (Laguna Niguel CA, the one by the freeway)

It isn't a deal, it is Costco policy. If the Executive Membership does not earn you back at least 50 dollars (thus negating the extra cost of the executive membership) you can downgrade back to Gold Star and get your original upgrade fee back.
