Yea, Amazon JP is a bitch to people in America. All foreign Amazon sites are really. They charge about 2x what it truly costs to ship a product. :/ It's evil.

Amazon UK has been very kind with their shipping rates to me, I think.

geo - I got a notice from Amazon that two of your items were cancelled. I'll forward you the two links tonight when I get home. Right now, I think I have 6 or 7 DVDs for you.

LOL, also, I just got done shipping some more things before work and I realized after updating the front page, that I spend more to ship than most people make in their lowballs! :shock:

That's crazy. Understandable, but crazy. You only brought in about $450 in shipping costs. Hopefully the lowball will still end up a success for you (i.e. turn a profit/help with bills).

My attention span is that of a gnat, ask anyone who plays on Live/PSN with me.... I wander.

Oh, five days of class left, only one real class tomorrow, then I pretty much just have tests and projects left to go.

Wow, I'm happy to find someone here that does order foods! I buy Calbee chips, my favorite in the entire world - they come quickly because they are located in California where I live in, just hours away. XD
 
Freebie Bump,

DV8 have you tried the final fantasy demo yet? I am going to buy Advent on blu-ray when/if they localize it for us release but that damn demo has me tempted to import.

This is kind of silly--I was curious out of the four gashapon that I won (the Valkyria Chronicles ones), which is the one that is missing? I am looking into now buying the missing one individually to complete the collection.

Also--how difficult would it be to find a LE Valkyria Chronicles and PVC Alicia figurine (as seen here: http://static.benippon.com/shop/images/FIG-080723-0953S.jpg)? If it's not too much trouble, I'd be happy to pay a premium to have it shipped to the States...

The bad news is, if I remember correctly, those are part of a 7 piece set with one piece (Selvaria) being packed only one per case. A case is 6 boxes and each box has 10 or 12 random figures.. Can't remember. Anyway, she goes for around $50 at least on her own so I would not hold my breath on getting a complete set of that one.

As for the figure, anything VC related is pretty rare here and high priced. They didn't make much of most of it and since the anime is doing well here, it's been even harder to find anything at a half decent price. I just looked through some places and couldn't find any larger pieces including the one you linked.

What you linked is this set. Unfortunately, I can't find a link for the set that I got those from and I tossed out the boxes as well... In any case, they are pretty damn rare now, but I always look for them any time I go out.

EDIT: Doesn't show all the figs unfortunately, but I found one that shows the front of the box.

On the Valkyria Chronicles thing, used/complete copies of the Limited Edition with it's bonus goodies can be found around $100ish USD before shipping expenses, the larger PVC figures can be found anywhere from cheap to way fucking high, depending where you buy them from. Some places that ship *to* america even have them cheapish. I'm highly considering buying one soon due to the demand and I fear once I start playing it I will fall in love and wish I had gotten a few.

PS - dv8 if you need something found let me know, I'm fairly good at hunting things down online, it's in-store that my weakness is. Oh, and I'm hitting TRU tonight and a few foreign targets, I'll check for MMs. Namely Starscream.

Oh BTW, how much is EMS compared to SAL in my case? Don't wanna miss my Japanese presentation, so if its not too much I might try to pay the difference for the faster shipping method.

HAH! REVENGE! GI Joe: Rise of Cobra figures are getting a Japanese release, at around $15 per figure from TakaraTomy. :D Booya. We'll only end up paying $8-$10 per. Finally, a small victory over dv8!
