Yeah, I yelled 5 second rule when she dropped it, but I still made fun of her when she took her first bite because I'm mean. She is Japanese by the way.
I'm going to need some time to get the cards and then I will do conversion and give you a total.
As for a Famicom, I have one, but I ended up taking it out of the sale (along with the other JP systems) simply because it's going to take a minimum of $50 to ship one to the US. So, yes, Ebay prices are inflated, but it's for a pretty good reason. You should just grab one if you have the chance.

I guess I'll either pick up a Super Famicom on my first trip to Tokyo (aiming for next year, finances willing) or pick up a Super Famicom clone system that plays in the US (They can be had for cheap from what I hear). That's cool that your wife is Japanese :) I assume she helps you get around (unless you're fluent in Japanese, which who knows, maybe you are). How long have you lived over there? I know a lot about CheapyD's story but almost nothing of yours =) Maybe some time when you're not as busy you can post more about it. Be cool to know!

In the meantime thanks for everything. Do you want me to send the $22 to you now in the meantime for the items? I don't mind if you would prefer, but I think the fees are slightly higher to make two seperate transactions for you. Your option ^_^ I'm going to bed now but let me know. Thanks and Oyasumi!
 
I'm certainly not fluent, but I can do most everything not government related on my own.
One of these days I'm going to get around to making a blog post here about how I ended up in Japan. I've been here for almost 4 years now.

Anyway, I went to XE.com and it's $32.13 for the two cards. Add $2 and take into account Paypal fees and that is a total of $35.46 due.
So, $57.46 and I can get your other items out soon as well!

To everyone else, sorry, I'm back at work today (first day as an instructor again) and I'm damn busy! I won't be able to update the status section with more "PAID"s until very late tonight, but I will get to it. Also, as stated, some of the smaller easier to ship items will be sent tomorrow and the status will be updated. Everything else will go out the day after tomorrow on my day off because I have a crapload of boxes!:lol:

Actually, I did end up getting Siren back in that sale when everyone was buying two copies for themselves and it went out of stock. I just kept checking back every single day and, lo and behold, about a week and a half later, it showed up again.
I have had it and Lego Star Wars sitting unopened and unplayed on the shelf for around a couple months now. LOL

I have the original PS2 siren, so I dunno if i'm gonna play the PS3 or PS2 first since I hear the PS3 one is a retelling of the PS2 one.

I still have a pretty good amount of gashapon left after the sale. Do you think it's best to keep them sealed and offer them up as random figures like they normally are, or do you think it would be good to open them and take pics to trade them like that?

Open might leave you with some leftovers that people don't want, while closed people won't know what their getting so they mihg tbuy ones they don't want without knowing it.

I thought about that, but then again, do I want people feeling like they ended up getting crap and thinking that it would be something good.

With figures, I suppose you would sell more if you got some more of the rarer or "High Hemand" Figures. If you were to open them and find that many were the more common or less demanded figures, you might need to lower the price a bit more just to sell them. In any case, I find that part of the fun of purchasing a boxed figure is that you never know which one you'll get, so IMO it would probably be best just sell them as is.

Someone pointed out the fact that, if I were to open the figures, I could keep the ones I wanted and trade the others... Hmmmm, I would then have a plausible excuse for my wife when she asks why I have all these hot anime girl figures displayed all over.
