Hey dv8mad,

I was wondering if you could retract my bids for the two $50+ items. I just lost my job today, and I will not be able to afford those two. I will still be able to afford the others though. Thanks and sorry for the trouble. I want to buy them, but I simply cannot afford them.

Now I thought I was pretty clear with this in my rules section. For everyone else, a repost of one of the most important rules!

5) If you place a bid, you are committing to that item. DO NOT place a bid if you do not intend to keep that bid active. Bid retractions are not my idea of a good time.I understand that sometimes unavoidable circumstances arise. If you are fearful that this may happen, please wait to bid on the last day so you know that nothing unexpected occurred!

sum41rcks1, please PM me. I'm going to ask you to sort through my list and find out who the current highest bidder for those items may be. I'm also going to ask that you place no further bids because I do not want to be responsible for your over-spending.

So, I have simply gone ahead and erased his +$50 bids.

199. Xbox 360 Japanese Exclusive The Last Remnant Faceplate - New

have both been reset to zero. I apologize to anyone that bid previously, but I'd like to ask you to resubmit your bids if you are still interested. I do not want to hold someone to a bid they made because they thought they had lost one or both of those items.

Since sum41 no longer has a job, I won't be taking any more bids from him, however, he has stated that he can pay for any of the other items that he wins, so I have left his current high bids..

I hope this makes sense to everyone and, once again, I want to ask everyone to review rule #5 on the front page.

Bidding on the last day when you know your financial situation is MORE than highly recommended!

If that's the case for sum41 I just got him off the hook for $20 that he bid in jjsp's sale. If he just lost his job I'd assume he won't be bidding anymore in that sale either.

but it goes to the next highest bidder. he was in a bid war with someone else and thats how it ran that high.

With the current job market there's no telling how long it may take you to find something else. I just wouldn't feel comfortable taking more money from you and then seeing you have to sell stuff to get by like I am.

My advice is to hang onto all the spare cash you can and just pay for whatever you end up with in all the lowball auctions from your previous bids and keep up the job hunt.

If this guy is me your referring to I believe your safe. I just wanted to help get the bidding started back up on this item.

I forgot he has a history of retracting. I guess I am not sure if I believe him or not.

Well I just bought the game and love it so much! Want to get as many things related to the game as possible. Too bad theres no Valkyria Chronicle stuff here..
