Yes. The way it works is that you have to sign up for an offer with one of their partners - these are businesses that give them money for referring customers. Then 8 more people have to do the same thing, using the link you are given when you sign up. Many of these offers can be fulfilled without actually spending any money. ancestry.com, for example, you can sign up, and then just call and cancel within a week, and you will not have to pay anything at all. Many other offers are fulfilled by ordering some product, which you can then return for a full refund (be sure to read the terms carefully before signing up for any offer, you are responsible for your own actions!). For people still looking for referrals... Theres always GearLive QT... Its pretty nice as I use it and have received most of my referrals through it.

Basically here is how it works you contact 1 of over 300 people and ask them to complete your freebie offer in exchange for you completeing one for them.. Pretty nice system and it actually tell you what offer they can do for you and what they need you to complete. It does come with a one time fee of 7.50, but damn after it got me over 6 referrals so far.. Its well worth it

I don't really want to read through this entire thread for explanation so can someone please let me know how the conga line works? Why would I want to be a part of the conga line when I could just do the offers alone and get people on my own (not that I know people who would do it though, I'm just curious). Also, how many people does it take to complete some of these offers (like the freeipod one)? And yes, i'm looking into doing this if it looks interesting. Thanks.

Well, here, you wouldn't want to join a conga line because you can just post your link on here by yourself. Conga lines work when there is a website that you go to and lots of people go to. You join a conga line and when your name gets up there, you get your referrals quickly.
 
There are such things as Conga Circles, some say they are much better too. I agree, I got 2 referalls in one day, need 3!
 
I've learned that conga circles are not better... yeah you may get 1 referral from a conga circle or even 2 but then, the same problem with lines happens to circles.. the amount of people on it gets so great and people stop signing up. also the number 1 person will always have a better chance of getting all the referral than the 5th or 25th person because they are circulating more on the list.
