Well, amazon had the official silver one on sale for $19.99 a few days ago, although now it's back to 24.99. I think they'll be out of production before they ever come down in price. If you find one new, buy it, even if it's at msrp.

Alternatively, go down to your gamestop store, and see if you could find some used ones in good condition.
