I request new games all the time - I'm just in the line of 100+ other people to get stuff. By the time it hits reasonable number I can just buy the game fr $20-30 rather then spending 1000 points on a stale title.
But I will be leaving as soon as I use up my points. These sales make it very obvious Goozex is hurting for funds and by selling 2000 points for $50 (so $25 for a 'new' release), just shows not as many people are really using the site as they should. They will soon have no product and people with tons of points not willing to spend the (plus $1 per trade) on a shitty game.
Being 'wrong' is hardly the issue. If you did the math, you would see how they are really not much of a deal unless you are lucky enough to get a new release fairly soon. Some people are likely thrilled to get 3 year old games...I'm not.
Using Goozex to get new games is a bad idea. Even if you're on the midnight they get added and wind up with like a top 20 spot in line, you still wind up waiting months and months because nobody adds anything new.
That said, it's getting harder and harder to even get older games that aren't sports titles. I check the PS3 section daily to see if there's anything new and 99% of the time it's the same crappy sports title that nobody wants to spend 200-300 points on. Them having frequent sales on points does nothing but make this problem worse since it just shows people that you don't have to bother trading to get points, especially when you can get them half price.
