after a long Hiatus (almost a week) I will definetly be on tonight probably around 8 est.

Anyone signing on tonight? Are most of you on the West Coast since all the invites I receive are usually midnight my time. I'll be able to play late tonight though.
 
Naptown, I live just east of there. And Cheapy I definitely think we need a team on team battle with the frag dolls. I'll take Rhoulette on personally, yowza do I love redheads

is there going to be practice tomorrow night b/c i can make it in at around 9 pm cst.

btw i got a kill frenzy today in the rumble pit (5 kills within 4 secs of each kill)

Sorry I didn't jump in tonite. An old friend of mine finally got his Live up and running, and we were catching up on old times. I probably won't make practice tomorrow night (it's my gf's b-day), but I can probably play Friday if anyone wants to schedule something.
 
Thursday night I have gotta do a jam session with my buddies but we should be done by 9:30 or so. Should be on around 10.

I really have to up my ranking. I'm only level 1 and I had to play with these 10-12 year old boys who had the filthiest mouths. fuck this, fuck that. Eat this _____ you _____. Some worse obscenities that he wouldn't say in public. Do these kids kiss their moms with that mouth?
 
Although I didn't get play as long as I would have liked last night (don't ask). I still had a great time.

team slayer is fantastic. I wanted to join rocksolidaudio and zewon's party last night, but everytime I tried the matches had already started. Its too bad, I was playing really well too.

I do not know that I could in good consience kill Jinx while she stole our flag... I would probably end up providing her cover fire and betraying all of you guys and then getting kicked from the clan. Looks like I can not play defense if we take these girls on.

I didn't mean to sound angry or anything, but there is no need to keep it on the front page. The only person who has a say in adding you is rocksolid, and he checks this thread all the time. Don't worry, he'll see your post.

As for the waiting list, frankly, only rocksolid knows. I'm sure a polite PM to him could answer that question.

is there a special trick to it?

I ussually get gutted before i can swing and it looks like the person is lunging at me from a distance.

Is there any special thing to do besides just pull the trigger??????

All you have to do is aim at someone and wait for the targeting reticle to turn red and pull the trigger and more than likely it will be a one hit kill.
 
I also kinda suck with it, but i am getting better. I love running into the enemy base with it and hearing them all scream in fear "Sword guy, Sword Guy!!!" but then I usually die only after killing a couple of them.

The worst feeling is running in, getting someone in your sights, and lunging right next to them without hitting. If you can get the first down, the rest are usually no problem as they get caught off guard. But if you miss that first kill, kiss your swordey ass goodbye.
 
I find the sword to be a huge "SHOOT ME" sign. I keep it hidden then whip it out when I want to use it. The damn thing Glows for gods sakes, they can see you from a mile away.

Fire fights usually end up with the players running twards each other. So I wait till the guy thinks we are going to have a fire fight and charges me and then I whip out the sword.

aiming u mean by facing them?
im so lost with the sword
 
Yeah it does draw alot of attention but that can be useful if you have someone coming from the opposite end with a rocket launcher, especially in headlong. They'll see you and everyone will come after it then you just lay down a couple rockets into the pack from the opposite direction and its all free and clear. Then the sword guy can mop up whatever is left.

Yeah. The targeting reticle is the circle in the middle of the screen that shows you where your aiming at. Once it turns red or "locks on" than pull the R trigger and watch the bodies fly.
 
I figured out what's wrong with my connection. The MUT or MTU or something between the router and my computer was set too high.. lowered it and bam, works just fine. I'll be on soon. Finally.

Ranked 14 now as well
 
...and on a more personal note, the ZANZIBAR CTF match at 1:30 in the morning was quite fun...because the red team won of course!
