Ya...I, too, am a bit baffled by them marketing a console with the big marketing draw being playing vita games with a dualshock on an HD TV via hdmi...and yet it can't play any titles that require the touchscreens, probably making a significant chunk of the vita library unplayable. Not sure how psp games will look on this thing, either, since the psp 3000's tv output, while cool to have, was kinda blurry and hard to read even displayed in a tiny half-screen-sized box on a standard def tv. Plus, obviously, no umd drive for dvd resolution umd movies, which was probably the best feature of the 3000's tv out.

So, ya, I was sort of psyched when I saw it until I realized it probably can't play a lot of vita games (like katamari, for example), my psp games will probably be much better left to my psp, and I can play ps1 games and stream netflix and what not better from my ps3, which has a hard drive instead of overpriced memory cards. :whistle2:k

Did you watch the conference? Phantasy Star Nova, new Souls Sacrifice, new Yakuza cross-play w PS4 and few more which I wasn't interested in.
