Just starting a thread for deals for the Playstation VR.

I picked up the Core bundle off Amazon and I'm looking for a cheap camera and move controllers.

I found that best buy has some cheap playstation 4 cameras on sale for 39.99 with free shipping.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-playstation-camera-for-playstation-4-black/8245153.p?skuId=8245153

If you all know any good deals for move controllers or launch games, let me know.

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (PS VR) $15.99 via Amazon (Prime Price). https://www.amazon.c...heapassgam08-20

Any recommendations for PSVR games that’s not on my list?

My Creed bundle is arriving today. The main question I've got is how much space do I need? Is it like for Kinect? I currently have my ps4 in my office and it's not particularly deep.

Could have sworn I had PS+ when UD: Rush of Blood was free, apparently I forgot to claim it. Downloading a bunch of demos to see what I like. Is it worth getting Battlefront 1 to play the VR mission?

I'd add:

Thumper

Statik

Farpoint (only if you have or will get the Aim controller to use with it)

Beat Saber

I only played about 30 min of Creed last night but I found I didn’t really need that much room. You need enough to swing your arms and maybe a little more just in case. But I didn’t find myself ever moving my feet too far.

I paid about $5 for a used copy of SW Battlefront on eBay just to play the VR mission. It was well worth that price to me. Keep in mind though that it’s only a single mission lasting 15-20 minutes

Do you think this is the best price in the near future? I don’t care about the game, just the controller. Even with the coupon for eBay, this Newegg sale seems better. TIA
Same thinking, but GCU in my thoughts. I regret no old bundle because I don't care about the game either. I think Battlefront is $6 on PSN, used copy is $4 at GS but I'd rather not go in there.

It’s impossible to know for sure, but based on the past prices I would guess this is as good as you’re going to get. I think the lowest the Farpoint bundle ever got was somewhere between $60-64. Eventually they went oop and were commanding ludicrous prices. I just checked gamestop and they seem to have used Aims by themselves for $44 if you’d rather go that route

Thinking about picking up a used AIM controller at Gamestop $35+tax with Elite, worth the price? What are some of the best games that use it? Games that I own that support it are Arizona Sunshine, Dick Wilde, and Firewall. I also know Doom VFR and Farpoint support it but don't own those. Any others good games I'm missing that support it?

I had to dig deep to find some more (based on general consensus).

Batman: Arkham VR

I Expect You to Die

PlayStation VR Worlds

Rez Infinite

Star Wars Battlefront VR Mission

Super Hot

Wipeout Omega Collection

Depending on personal taste:

Accounting+

The American Dream

The Invisible Hours

Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul

Torn

I got the Aim controller bundled with Farpoint. I wouldn't play that game without it, and I highly recommend the experience of playing that game. VR and that controller make it an absolute amazing experience.

I bought Farpoint + Aim controller for $60 on Amazon a while back so that bundle has dropped to the $60 price point.

It's an incredibly short experience, while very cool I wouldn't spend anything over $10 total for it. I played it twice and probably done for good.

Moss is on sale in the PS store for $19.79 (34% off)

I wish the disc version was on sale somewhere!
Now that both Astro Bot and Moss are available for $20 each (which everyone who owns a PSVR should get), there's no reason why anyone should buy the VR bundle without Move controllers for $199. $40 worth of games vs. $80+ controllers which seem impossible to find otherwise. Buy the Skyrim or Creed/Super Hot bundles (especially since Moss is just a digital voucher anyway).

I'm such an idiot for buying AB last month for $32 thinking the disc version would go out of stock by BF. I always seem to make the wrong call.

Same here. I bought the astrobot bundle 2 days ago from GS with $50 reward certs and opened it. Now that I realize the move controllers are selling for $80+, i'm kinda regretting not getting the Creed bundle.

Have my storage case coming tomorrow. Debating getting Doom while it's half off, maybe Moss(I need to play the demo). I grabbed digital Astro Bot after the demo was utterly compelling.

I haven't even played Doom VFR yet (had it for a year but still no left handed patch) and I can tell you that Moss is a bajillion times better than it is.

Don't know if anybody has mentioned it, but Best Buy has some deals on disc-based PSVR games, and GCU applies if you still have it.

PlayStation Worlds VR is $9.99/$7.99 GCU: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/playstation-vr-worlds-playstation-4/5492404.p?skuId=5492404

Farpoint is $14.99/$11.99 GCU (might be better to wait for the bundle if you don't have an Aim... I don't know): https://www.bestbuy.com/site/farpoint-playstation-4/5789603.p?skuId=5789603

The Inpatient is $19.99, same as on the PS Store, but GCU applies, making it $15.99 if you have that: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/the-inpatient-playstation-4/5360600.p?skuId=5360600

There are a few others where GCU applies, but that just don't seem like very good deals.

Bastards are teasing me on Farpoint. Upgrade for $65. Oh, sold out.

However... at least for me, it's offering the Aim controller on its own for $53.99 (My Best Buy offer, in stock for shipping). So combine that with Farpoint/GCU, and it's almost the same. (If you have GCU, of course.)

Which games are compatible with the aim controller?
Arizona Sunshine
Bravo Team
The Brookhaven Experiment
ChromaGun
Cock Dick Wilde
Doom VFR
Evasion
Farpoint
Firewall Zero Hour
ROM: Extraction
Special Delivery
Unearthing Mars 2: The Ancient War
I've used it a total of three times, but I did recently get Unearthing Mars 2 from the BF sale. Wasn't able to get Firewall for the $9.99 price glitch because GameStop denied me. :oldman:

Thanks for the heads-up on this! I picked up a Firewall Aim bundle earlier this week, so I picked up Farpoint in this sale. Great price!

Beat Saber is badass but damn the campaign gets pretty damn hard.  I'm at the 24 levels and I am struggling to get past A, B, or C right now to continue on.  But I can see how I'm gradually getting better because hard used to be tough for me and now they are pretty simple for the most part and I'll miss some cuts but still finish em.  But damn most of the experts are tough for me to even finish at this point.  I also feel like tracking on some cuts is kind of whack like I feel I shouldn't have missed some of them but it doesn't give me the right direction.

Just FYI The Inpatient is 13.33 on Amazon right now: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072JYQKP3

Wow, looks like several of the low-end PSVR games have dropped another buck or two. 8.99 for PS VR Worlds, $13.99 for BattleZone, and $13.49 (with My Best Buy Offer) for Driveclub VR and Until Dawn: Rush of Blood.

Holy shit. I went ahead and got Battlefront since it was only $6. Worth it. Rogue One VR mission blew my mind. Yeah, limited replayability, but as something to go back to after a time I don't think it'll ever get old.

I know don't touch the inside on its own, but is the included cloth safe to clean my oily headprint from the lens? It's noticeably blurring.

How fragile are the aim controllers?  I could grab one from GameStop used with my Elite Pro and some reward certs but it's only a deal if the controller works as it should

Got my Astro Bot in the mail today. How us it that it plays so much better and looks so much better than virtually any other PSVR game?

First game with close to two years of dedicated and seasoned VR development behind it by a team familiar with PS4 limitations.

The first one I bought the PS button wouldn’t work. This was brand new. I returned it and got another one. Other than that issue, I would describe it as a very solid and well made controller.
