Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

also the 64M memory cards are now 11.97 got 2 of them
 
I hit 'my secret sears' and they didnt have much. The display gamecube was gone, I should have asked if they had it in the back. I scanned the xbox point and live cards in case any CAGs wanted them, but they all rang up full price. Left empty handed...waiting for RE on gamecube to drop!

Goddammit, I was JUST at Sears and saw copies of that game but didn't get them rung up. I did see several copies of DOA 4 but they were out of the system.

as for theres a wii sku number that went clearance to $199.97. its because nintendo refreshed the sku number in order to maintain the price. they do the same thing with older mechindise.

Damn and to think, I paid $1.06(with tax) per copy for 2 copies of MechAssault from Kmart just recently. I don't know if it rings true for the front lane games @ Sears, but the front lane games marked with a C0028 code in the lower right corner of the new UPC on the back of the games were coming up SUPER CHEAP.
 
This is probab1y old news, but when I went to the Lloyd Center (portland, or) sears yesterday, several of their ps2 games had scratched-off CompUSA stickers on them. I didnt see anything on clearence though, and since I had the kids with me I couldn't scan anything.
 
I'm not sure if this was mentioned yet. But I picked up an Xbox 360 Messenger Kit for 20.97 at the Sears in Superstition Springs, AZ.

We have two at mine.
 
Just wanted to let you know that SNK wrote me back, a month later, on SNK Vs Capcom CFC... they told me the replacement program ended, but they would replace the cart, and gave me personalized instructions on what to do.

If your Sears has these for $2, it's worth a thought to e-mail SNK to see if they will replace it for you as well.

Thanks for the info Roufuss! I have a copy I picked up a few months back and I just figured I was out of luck.

At 7.97, Burnout Revenge is still a steal. It's better than Paradise.

Yea, find the email on their site, let them know what's up... it will take a long time to get an email back, but they should do it.

Now, hopefully my Sears still has the game for $2... I was waiting on a reply before I bought it, and simply forgot all about it =O

That's what happened to me earlier this year. They were really nice about it I sent in my defective copy about a month later I received the replacement cartridge from SNK with some cards thrown in.

The 64mb 360 cards were $9.97 a pop when I checked them last night at a local Sears. They had about 8-10 of them in stock too.

The only other halfway decent deal I found was Xmen Legends II for Xbox for $4.97, which was marked $19.99.

That's a good price on Xmen Legends II, but beware, it's not backwards compatible.

I would've bought it too, but I have no need for it right now, since I didn't even complete Marvel Ultimate Alliance yet on the Xbox.
 
Just went to the Lewisville, TX store, and FINALLY Burnout Revenge for the 360 is clearanced. Platinum Hits version, in the cabinet, $6.97. They had a lot of them. The guy who rang me up said he was grabbing one, too, as he didn't know they were on clearance (it says $29.99 in the case).

Also, the 64 mb Memory card for 360: $5.97. They're in a cardboard Xbox 360 rack, more towards the vacuum cleaners. Also a lot of those.
 
found PDZ for 2.97, Pimp my ride 5.97 and a 3 month live box (with the old $10 off coupon) for 4.97... unfortunately i didn't notice the bottom was open and the Joust, 3 month card & 100 MS points cards were all gone... only thing in there was the headset...

lol i know i'm on my 5th one with an extra from the messenger pad kit just in case... luckily my friend needs one so i figured i'd just give him this one rather than waste time going back to sears

So to get the games to ring up at those prices do you need to peel back one UPC to get the original?
 
I got Virtua Tennis 3 for the 360 today for $4.00 at the Platte Woods MO store. They had a bunch of off brand GC memory cards for 2.97 as well.
 
I saw but this is YMMV, but I was in the Sears here in Chesapeake, VA and found the Halo 3 Limited Edition dropped to $14.97. They had 3 left.

No, that would be fraud ;)

That's why I posted the numbers listed on the sticker UPC. Almost all of the games with those type of UPC stickers are on clearance (the only one that I could find that wasn't was Viewtiful Joe, which was ringing up for $11.99).
 
I thought Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for the 360 would be dirt cheap by now, but it rang up full current retail price ($29.99). I don't really care, just a bit surprised.

are the clearance games seperate from retail like at target??

are all the games behind glass or can you rummage thru?

do you need to get an employee to scan or do they have self-scan machines?

YMMV on all of the above. I've personally found clearance titles regularly marked in the glass case and in the clearance bins. I think most stores have scanners but that is also YMMV. The store closest to me has one scanner on the entire lower level and it's over in the Lawn & Garden section. I think the employees thought I was trying to steal on night when I took a stack of clearance games over to the scanner to check the prices myself.

I try to wait until the employee's are not looking when I take games over to the scanner. I wouldn't steal anything but it does look suspicious when someone takes 12 games over at once, espcially if they don't realize the games are probably on clearance (in other words, I might only be taking $50 worth of games to the scanner versus 12 $60 games/$600 worth)
